Matthew 6:6, Christianity and the Mormon Faith

In the nearly seventy years that I have been on the water planet Earth, I have never met a Christian who ever did what the Jesus of the New Testament required of those who would follow him or attempt to imitate him.  This is especially true in 2012.  It crystalized in Texas where the most sinister spinners of yarns and falsified fabrications of fact, from Rick Perry (the Hair) of Texas and his NAR (New Apostolic Reformation led by C. Peter Wagner who styles himself an “Apostle”, read here and here and here) Dominionist Christians to the alleged reverends Scott Lively (California) author of Uganda’s “Kill the Gays” legislation, Bill Bright (Campus Crusade for Christ, Texas) “the Dark Knight” who praised Jesus “the warrior” (ref. Revelation 19:11-16) who would descend to earth with a drawn sword (Matthew 10:34).

Bright was a co-signatory of the Richard D. Land letter of 2002 (by The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention) that outlined a just war rationale for the 2003 invasion of Iraq that provided a theological underpinning for the invasion being planned by President George W. Bush and his spiritual mentor Dick Cheney–despite the fact that the Weapons of Mass Destructions (WMDs) were known not to exist and were the plant of an operative of the CIA who paid him thousands of dollars to create the myth.  The Iraqi defector’s name is Rafid Ahmed

Alwan al-Janabi, CIA codename Curveball.  Bush and Cheney prayed over the potential slaughter, that would be most graphically realized at Abu Gharib prison where torture was used with the prayerful blessing of Christian chaplains and zealous missionary military mercenaries who had guns that carried bible verses, but not a weapon emblazoned with Matthew 5:9.

The idea of killing disbelievers has always been common in the Christian church founded by the Emperor Constantine I in 325 CE.  This is dramatically demonstrated by the denizens of the damned such as Charles Worley of Maiden, North Carolina who wants a full-scale genocide in the USA (read here and here), and other Southern Baptists kept busy kneeling at the altar of the original Elmer Gantry and his son (Billy and Franklin Graham), and Bob Vander Plaats who laughs at “shooting fags jokes”, and Keith Ratliff (both in West Des Moines, Iowa), with Ratliff  making a name for himself as defining the word of his god as if he were a modern Moses and oblivious to Matthew 7:1.  Ratliff’s raw renunciation of sanity, however, was outdone by to the theological terrorist Timothy Dolan of New York who conveniently forgets Acts 10:34 when following in the blood-stained footsteps of the self-serving and unsaintly masochist Jeanmarie Escriva founder of the odious opportunistic organ Opus Dei where the word “submission” takes on a jihadistic meaning. 

Escriva whipped himself regularly with “the Discipline” until his bathroom was covered with his blood (read here and here and here) in the same way that the polarizing and pathetic Pope John Paul II did. The Opus Dei priest and the Pole who followed the short reign of John Paul I (whom many consider was murdered by “a cardinal” or “an archbishop with links to the Mafia … with ambition”; cf. Brown’s novel is more history than fiction (although Opus Dei has no albinos that I know of, it does condone “justifiable homicide” if the Leaders of God’s Work order it to be done). These traitors to mortalkind are far more sinister and that Martin Luther and his 65,000-word treatise Von den Juden und  Ihren Lügen encouraging a pogrom against the Jews.  It influenced Adolf Hitler to write Mein Kampf and later to build the concentration camps that Maggie Gallagher and Charles Worley lust for to end the plague they see through darkened glasses in the USA. 

These preachers and prelates in the Southern Baptist Convention, among Roman Catholics, Pentecostals and evangelical extremists in the USA are almost as vile as Juan Luis Cipriani Thorne (an Opus Dei cardinal) whom the Peru bishops refuse to elect as their leader in Lima. They make the Christian carnivore Anders Behring Brevik of Norway look weak in his slaughter of seventy-seven Norwegians.  Collectively and individually give life to Deuteronomy 32:28: “They are a nation without sense, there is no discernment in them.”

The untrained, terror-mongering, unscholarly, ill-lettered leaders of evangelical extremists, such as Rick Perry, Michelle Bachmann, Rick Santorum, Paul Ryan (whose own priest in Wisconsin is afraid of what he will do; Father Stephen Umhoefer, questioned the credibility of Ryan and his proposed Budget, claiming that the test of the budget is a simple one: “The first question is: How does this affect the poor? And everything else follows from that.”  The priest notes: Ryan’s interpretation of Catholic teaching in national budgetary matters and his prospective vice presidential role have him “worried” as nothing Ryan has said on the Budget or the poor has anything in common with Catholic teaching) they hold huge prayer rallies, scoring millions of dollars for a “triumphal battle against evil [non-Christians]” Faculty at Georgetown University put it more bluntly in an  open letter  to Ryan: “Your budget appears to reflect the values of your favorite philosopher, Ayn Rand, rather than the Gospel of Jesus Christ”; cp. the US Council of Catholic Bishops response).  In return for unquestioning loyalty surpassing that of the German people during the Third Reich who saw Hitler as one of their god’s chosen leaders.  According to the Reverend John Hagee, Adolph Hitler was a “hunter,” sent by God, who was tasked with expediting God’s will of having the Jews re-establish a state of Israel (watch video).

In quest of “storming heaven” (more commonly heard among Sarah Palin’s “Prayer Warriors” in Alaska) for rain, the rains Perry promised petitioning heaven went unanswered in Texas and Southern Baptist states. Perry, Wagner, Dolan, Worley, and the other mental misfits and miscreants promise an apocalypse in their lifetime where those who follow their dictates will be rewarded with an everlasting life of abundance.

This is in tune with the promises of Joseph Smith who created an entire new religion in the 1840s.  Although he was illiterate Smith translated golden plate that an angel who visited him at night (September 1823) gave him the power to read with special glasses (D&C 5:4).

Neither the plates nor the glasses, not even the “seer” stones from Moses’ brother’s breastplate (Urim and Thummim) have been found (Quinn, D. Michael (1998).  Early Mormonism and the Magic World View (Salt Lake City: Signature Books, 1998), 43-44), yet Mormons believe religiously that the angel Moroni will lead them to other planets when they die so that the men can produce new generations of followers.  To this end, Mitt Romney tithes to his church that does not believe in any of the words the Jesus of the New Testament (that were approved by the Emperor) delivered in any of the four gospels that the Emperor Constantine allowed to appear in the fifty Bibles the Emperor commissioned to be sent out to the fifty churches in the East in 331 CE. 

According to Eusebius, Constantine I wrote him in his letter: “I have thought it expedient to instruct your Prudence to order fifty copies of sacred Scriptures, the provision and use of which you know to be most needful for the instruction of the Church, to be written on prepared parchment in a legible manner, and in a convenient, portable form, by professional transcribers throughly practised in their art.” (Eusebius, Vita Constantini IV:36).

About accomplishing the Emperor’s demand, Eusebius of Caesarea wrote: “Such were the emperor’s commands, which were followed by the immediate execution of the work itself, which we sent him in magnificent and elaborately bound volumes of a threefold and fourfold form.” (Eusebius, Vita Constantini, IV:37)

There was no consensus among the bishops as to what constituted canon of the Bible among the records of the First Council of Nicaea.  Jerome, in his Prologue to Judith, makes the claim that the Book of Judith was “found by the Nicene Council to have been counted among the number of the Sacred Scriptures“.

The young, the old, the ill-educated, the unquestioning robots that today flush out the size of the Tea Party and vote Republican fill the megachurches in the USA.  “Fools for Christ”, as Michele Bachmann described herself (watch video here, claiming that Christ told her to run for the presidency) with her fellow revivalists, conveniently forget, or never learned, that the Jesus of the New Testament never took the title Christ; it was declared by Peter (Matthew 16:16, a plagiarism from Mark 8:29; cf. Ehrman, Bart D.  (2011). Forged: Writing in the Name of God–Why the Bible’s Authors Are Not Who We Think They Are. New York, NY: HarperOne, pp. 55-58, 247-249).  Worse yet, the funadmetnalists in the USA, reject Matthew 6:6 in favor of a theocracy and plutocratic rule. Christ means “anointed” but as a Magician of miracles.

A bowl or cup, dating to between the late 2nd century BCE and the early 1st century CE, is engraved with “DIA CHRSTOU O GOISTAIS,” that has been interpreted to mean either, “by Christ the magician” or, “the magician by Christ.”  Great magicians were poor; they did not celebrate out of golden challices.

The authors who lived off the tithes of the poor wrote in 2 Corinthians (8:9) that Jesus was rich that has become the message of megachurch preacher Joel Osteen.  In Matthew 8:20, the Jesus of the New Testament only had a stone for his pillow.  The bishops and cardinals, the priests and pastors, the preachers and teachers, pope and patriarchs of today’s Christianity have shut the doors on Matthew 6:6 and opened a circus for all to watch today’s Pharisees: σὺ δὲ ὅταν προσεύχῃ, εἴσελθε εἰς τὸ ταμιεῖόν σου καὶ κλείσας τὴν θύραν σου πρόσευξαι τῷ πατρί σου τῷ ἐν τῷ κρυπτῷ· καὶ ὁ πατήρ σου ὁ βλέπων ἐν τῷ κρυπτῷ ἀποδώσει σοι ἐν τῷ φανερῷ (Greek Orthodox), Wenn du aber betest, so gehe in dein Kämmerlein und schließe die Tür zu und bete zu deinem Vater im Verborgenen; und dein Vater, der in das Verborgene siehet, wird dir’s vergelten öffentlich (Martin Luther’s Bible 1545), tu autem cum orabis intra in cubiculum tuum et cluso ostio tuo ora Patrem tuum in abscondito et Pater tuus qui videt in abscondito reddet tibi (Latin Vulgate), Pero tú, cuando ores, entra en tu aposento, y cuando hayas cerrado la puerta, ora a tu Padre que está en secreto, y tu Padre, que ve en lo secreto, te recompensará (La Biblia de las Americas).

Despite the more than 4000 changes to the Book of Mormon, and more than 7200 changes to other Mormon directives, there is not one mention of praying in secret. On other points there are endless contradictions (cp. 2 Nephi 31:21 and Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 370 on the number of gods; on god being god eternally compare in the Book of Mormon: Moroni 8:18 and Mosiah 3:5, while Joseph Smith wrote that god was once a man: Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pp. 345-346, as Jesus is less than god: 3 Nephi 19:15-18 (Book of Mormon) compared with The Ensign, June 1998, p. 59 and should not be worshipped: Gospel Truth, 1:135 and Melchizedek Priesthood Personal Study Guide, 1986, p. 46-47 compared with Book of Mormon 1 Nephi 11:24 and 2 Nephi 25:29 and 3 Nephi 11:17).

Jesus seeking unbelievers (New Apostolic Reformation)

The prayer warriors are determined to force their warrior Jesus to return–now.  The NAR waits to hear Jesus knock on the door of unbelievers. There is no mercy.  There is no waiting.  The time is now for bloodshed, and the repeat of the sacrifice of Isaac by Abraham the senior god so that the Lord of Lords and Host of Hosts (a term for a senior general in battle) will cleanse the world of doubt and lack of faith as the poor will give way to the rich and the rich will be the inheritors of the Kingdom as the camel kneels to crawl under the gate known as the Eye of the Needle (Matthew 19:24, Mark 10:25, Luke 18:25, but has its origin in the Babylonian Talmud, Berakhot 55b) considered an allegory for spiritual and physical warfare (camel is a mistranslation for a rope 33).  The Eye of the Needle, however is a mythological gate–as there has never been such a gate in Jerusalem (Егор Розенков (2007), Верблюд и игольное ушко // Духовный вестник высшей школы, № 8 (24), 01.09.2007). The knowledge of languages, translation and interpretation has nearly disappeared in the bankruptcy of education in the twenty-first century, and no one cares about knowledge, only creature comfort.
