Father Piero Corsi’s argument that “women wearing tight clothes are to blame for domestic violence” are their own murder

Father Piero Corsi of San Terenzo di Lerici, Italy (December 2012)

Father Piero Corsi of San Terenzo di Lerici, Italy (December 2012)

An Italian priest, Father Piero [Pietro] Corsi, has provoked universal outrage after claiming that women are to blame for domestic violence by wearing tight clothing in his Christmas 2012 bulletin.  Not only did the Roman Catholic priest publish it in his bulletin, but like Martin Luther tacked the notice his church door so that the entire world might marvel at his malevolence Machiavellian ministry and debate its henious hermeneutics.

Father Corsi also attacked women as if he was the Emperor Constantine I’s Saint Paul, or the incarnation of the “perfect woman” defined by Kaiser Wilhelm II as the hausfrau motto “Kinder, Küche, Kirche” (kitchen, church, and children: a phrase Hitler would use, Doramus, Max (1990), The Complete Hitler. A Digital Desktop Reference to His Speeches & Proclamations, 1932-1945 (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 1990), p. 532; the Kaiser actually added Kleider (clothing) but it was not that popular except with the Empress) for not cleaning their houses and serving fast food.

In Corsi’s cavorting calloused twisted thinking the predatory padre pandered that men were murdering women in record number since women were in open rebellion attempting to be equal to men.  This is remarkably reminiscent of the absurdities in Paul’s letters to women, in which they are commanded to “submit” to their husbands (Ephesians 5:22 Αἱ γυναῖκες τοῖς ἰδίοις ἀνδράσιν ὑποτάσσεσθε, ὡς τῷ κυρίῳ), who were over wives (Ephesians 5:23 ὅτι ὁ ἀνήρ ἐστιν κεφαλὴ τῆς γυναικὸς ὡς καὶ ὁ Χριστὸς κεφαλὴ τῆς ἐκκλησίας καὶ αὐτὸς ἐστίν σωτὴρ τοῦ σώματος, but it needs to be noted that nowhere in the Gospels approved of by the emperor does the Jesus of the New Testament claim himself to be “the Christ”, as that salutation was issued by Peter; nor does he use the word “church” that is a gloss from Matthew 16:16 ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ Σίμων Πέτρος εἶπεν Σὺ εἶ ὁ Χριστὸς ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ ζῶντος as there is no evidence that any directly select apostle knew Greek, and Χριστὸς is used when it should have been the Hebrew word for Messiah: משיח; there is a wealth of difference as a Christ is an anointed warrior, like David, but a Messiah (in Greek: Μεσσίας) was a saviour or deliverer and there is no reference to a Church, the original text means a congregation of believers),  be quiet (1 Timothy 2:11-12 γυνὴ ἐν ἡσυχίᾳ μανθανέτω ἐν πάσῃ ὑποταγῇ but here the issue is that of a student receiving instruction, while verse 12 γυναικὶ δὲ διδάσκειν οὐκ ἐπιτρέπω οὐδὲ αὐθεντεῖν ἀνδρός ἀλλ’ εἶναι ἐν ἡσυχίᾳ is not a precept taught by the Jesus of the New Testament, but is the martial law of the writers of the letter who usurped authority from the head of the community, James the biological brother of Jesus and one of many sons born to Mary), and accept the man as superior (1 Corinthians 11:3: ἐν ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς κρίνατε· πρέπον ἐστὶν γυναῖκα ἀκατακάλυπτον τῷ θεῷ προσεύχεσθαι, the first clause is a contradiction of Matthew 7:1 and directly opposed to the teaching of the New Testament Jesus, so the men who were reading and / or hearing the letter written in the name of a Paul, were not within the community of believers, but a part of a chrestiano sect that the Emperor Constantine would raise above the christianos in his invention of Paulinity that he renamed Christianity; the independent clause after the subordinate clause is a question and is current only in debate and was not meant, based on ancient grammatical construction, to be a directive or injunction as read прилично ли женемолиться Богу с непокрытою головою? or este cuviincios ca o femeie să se roage lui Dumnezeu desvălită?).

Domestic abuse of women a growing problem in Italy.

Domestic abuse of women a growing problem in Italy.

The chest-pounding cleric called on women to engage in “healthy self criticism” over femicide—men murdering women—and realize that they were responsible for their own assassinations and disgrace. Domestic violence against women (read here and here and here and here) is a serious problem in Italy.  At least one in four women will be physically and/or sexually abused in her lifetime although a report by a United Nations mission in June said it was “largely invisible and underreported”.  The reason for the invisibility and underreporting is that most victims are terrified by threats of renewed and stronger violence from their husbands or male companions.

The Daily Beast‘s Barbie Latza Nadeau notes that in the year 2012, 120 women have been killed in domestic disputes in the European nation, “a third more than last year.” In fact, the problem has even caught the attention of the United Nations Human Rights Council, which urged the country to take action last June.

Monsignor Vincenzo Paglia, the president of the Vatican’s Congregation for the Family, went on Vatican Radio Thursday to dismiss the claim the priest made when he blamed women. Paglia said: “There is widespread often dramatic violence against women and you cannot think at all that it’s the fault of women themselves,” (C’è una violenza diffusa, che si abbatte – talora in maniera drammatica – sulle donne e non è possibile pensare minimamente che sia colpa delle donne stesse se tutto questo accade.)

Corsi remained unapologetic.  While media claimed he issued an apology for his crassly crafted comments, he denied making any effort to soften or remove his comments, as Italian women continue to be suppressed

Since his posting of his thesis on the church door, Piero has stood, Hitleresque, demanding allegiance in a nation where fascism and anti-Semitism is seeing a rise as Hitler is increasingly remembered as a saviour. In an astonishing message, Corsi attacked pornography and demonically declared that women share the blame for “provoking the worst instincts which then turn into violence and sexual abuse”.

Father Corsi’s letter, pinned to the door of the church in the northern village of San Terenzo di Lerici, reads: “Let’s ask ourselves. Is it possible that men have all gone mad at one stroke? We don’t think so. The core of the problem is in the fact that women are more and more provocative, they yield to arrogance, they believe they can do everything themselves and they end up exacerbating tensions. “How often do we see girls and even mature women walking on the streets in provocative and tight clothing? Babies left to themselves, dirty houses, cold meals and fast food at home, soiled clothes. So if a family ends up in a mess and turns into crime (a form of violence which should be condemned and punished firmly) often the responsibility is shared.”  The text, posted on a website by a conservative Catholic named Bruno Volpe, attacked pornography and erotic television advertising but said women shared the blame for “provoking the worst instincts, which then turn into violence and sexual abuse”.

Marco Caluri, mayor of Lerici, Italy (2012)

The mayor of Lerici, Marco Caluri, said the article was “astonishing and deeply offensive”. The bishop of La Spezia ordered it to be taken down, saying it contained “unacceptable opinions which are against the common position of the church”. Corsi refused to address the reality of abused women in Italy.

March against women-killing in Italy by husbands or boyfriends (2012)

March against women-killing in Italy by husbands or boyfriends (2012)

Corsi has consistantly ignored the fact that a third of the women in Italy had reported being victim of serious domestic violence, a UN report citing data from Italian statistics agency ISTAT said. The report said that as many as 127 women had been murdered by men in 2010, often as a result of “honour [sic: assumed males superiority], men’s unemployment (there was no comment on the number of unemployed women or how unemployment effected them and any family they might have) and jealousy by the perpetrator“.  As in the myth of Eve, women were also the instigators of evil, and men were the heroes (who cowered behind bushes).

According to The Journal, Corsi denied the reports that he had apologized and handed in his resignation amid the storm of protests from women’s rights and anti-violence campaigners.  He claimed that a resignation letter sent to news agencies was “probably a fake.”  The parasitic priest is quoted as saying he will “take a rest” but had no intention of stepping down. It was he who was tired, not his victims who were chastised for their gender.

Maria Gabriella Carnieri Moscatelli, the head of Telefono Rosa, an association that helps the victims of violence, said an apology was not sufficient. She told SkyTG24 television: “I thank the bishop who had the paper taken down but I’m still not satisfied because I think someone needs to talk to this person and understand why he has these attitudes. Ms. Carnieri Moscatelli maintained: “I think he needs to make a deeper examination of his conscience that goes beyond apologies.”

Corsi has not stepped down. Instead, invidiously, Corsi, who has never resembled nor practiced the charity and mercy of the Jesus of the New Testament swung out like the temporal lobe epileptic seizure suffering Saul of Tarsus (Landsborough D. (1987). “St Paul and temporal lobe epilepsy.” Journal of Neurology & Neurosurgery Psychiatry. June; 50(6): pp. 659–664; cp. Barry E, Sussman NM, Bosley TM, Harner RN. (1985). “Ictal blindness and status epilepticus amauroticus”. Epilepsia.  November-December; 26(6): pp. 577–584) who styled himself an apostle and attacked another marginalized group asking a reporter for Rai Radio: “I don’t know whether you’re a queer or not, but what do you feel when you see a naked women? Are women themselves not causing harm by unveiling themselves like this?”

The script is identical to those issued by theological students of Islam in Afghanistan: the Taliban who rise up whenever a female is not wearing a full Burqa. The reporter’s disregard of this invasive, unorthodox, repugnant and rude question that most people would have felt obliged to respond with a blow to the priest’s nose and a crushing chop across the shoulders knocking the vituperative vicar to the ground followed by a swift and hard kick to the testicles was met with calmness, illuminating his character as being closer to that of Matthew 5:39 (ἐγὼ δὲ λέγω ὑμῖν μὴ ἀντιστῆναι τῷ πονηρῷ· ἀλλ’ ὅστις σε ῥαπίσει ἐπί τὴν δεξιὰν σου σιαγόνα στρέψον αὐτῷ καὶ τὴν ἄλλην·), than the Mephistophelean miscreant masquerading menacingly as a curator of souls.

Cori’s exordium pronouncements came tantamount to a naked fatwa, and his enemy was those who were least able to protect themselves, and strongly suggests that Father Corsi is gay. The reason for this is (1) his questioning of another man (going back to the time-weathered comment “my lady protests too much” first recorded by William Shakespeare in his Hamlet, Act III, scene II, where it is spoken by Queen Gertrude, Hamlet’s mother), as show in studies on hiding sexual identity (Schrimshaw, Eric W.; Siegel, Karolynn; Downing Jr., Martin J.; Parsons, Jeffrey T. (2012). “Disclosure and Concealment of Sexual Orientation and the Mental Health of Non-Gay-Identified, Behaviorally Bisexual Men”. doi: 10.1037/a0031272 Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology. December 31) the questioning (2) a verbal assault on perception of women nude, when no such comment was entertaining or questioned by the reporter (Stotzer, Rebecca L.; Shih, Margaret (2012). “The relationship between masculinity and sexual prejudice in factors associated with violence against gay men.” doi: 10.1037/a0023991 Psychology of Men & Masculinity, Vol 13(2), April, pp. 136-142. Special Section: Recent Research on Gay and Bisexual Men. 1), and (3) reflecting the question back to sadistic abuse based on gender (Rye, B. J.; Meaney, Glenn J. (2010). “Measuring homonegativity: A psychometric analysis”. doi: 10.1037/a0018237. Canadian Journal of Behavioural Science/Revue canadienne des sciences du comportement, Vol 42(3), July, pp. 158-167; Sánchez, Francisco J.; Westefeld, John S.; Liu, William Ming; Vilain, Eric (2010). “Masculine Gender Role Conflict and Negative Feelings about being Gay.” doi: 10.1037/a0015805 Professional Psychology: Research and Practice, Vol 41(2), April, pp. 104-111).  More critical is the study that shows proximity to sexual minorities is associated with negative effect in homophobic individuals. Results indicated that in the group primed with homosexual erotica, homophobia is positively related to anger and fear and negatively related to happiness and disgust, but no such associations were found for the heterosexual prime males: Zeichner, Amos; Reidy, Dennis E. (2009). “Are homophobic men attracted to or repulsed by homosexual men? Effects of gay male erotical on anger, fear, happiness, and disgust.” doi: 10.1037/a0014955. Psychology of Men & Masculinity, Vol 10(3), July, pp. 231-236. Cp. Moradi, Bonnie; van den Berg, Jacob J.; Epting, Franz R. (2009). “Threat and guilt aspects of internalized antilesbian and gay prejudice: An application of personal construct theory.” doi: 10.1037/a0014571. Journal of Counseling Psychology, Vol 56(1), January, pp. 119-131, cf. Moradi, Bonnie; van den Berg, Jacob J.; Epting, Franz R. (2006). “Intrapersonal and interpersonal manifestations of antilesbian and gay prejudice; An application of personal construct theory”. doi: 10.1037/0022-0167.53.1.57. Journal of Counseling Psychology, Vol 53(1), January, pp. 57-66).

Using the framework of social dominance theory, the results from multilevel models indicated that significant differences existed across peer groups on homophobic attitudes. These differences accounted for the basis of the hierarchy-enhancing or -attenuating climate of the group where the social climate of the peer group moderated the stability of individuals’ social dominance attitudes. (Szymanski, Dawn M.; Carr, Erika R. (2008). “The roles of gender role conflict and internalized heterosexism in gay and bisexual men’s psychological distress: Testing two mediation models.” doi: 10.1037/1524-9220.9.1.40 Psychology of Men & Masculinity, Vol 9(1), January, pp. 40-54). Following protests, the priest told weekly newspaper Oggi: “After everything that’s happened, which has certainly been well beyond what I intended or expected, I think there’s need for calm, rest and silence to respond with the serenity and harmony required to carry on” (read here and watch here the YouTube video. Based on existing evidence, Father Corsi does, indeed, need rest and psychological counseling (Parrott, Dominic J.; Zeichner, Amos (2005). “Effects of Secual Prejudice and Anger on Physical Aggression Toward Gay and Heterosexual Men.” doi: 10.1037/1524-9220.6.1.3 Psychology of Men & Masculinity, Vol 6(1), January, pp. 3-17).

Alveda King: allusions, illusions and ego-enhancement and attack on civil and human rights

Alveda King

Alveda Celeste King, the niece of civil rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and daughter of the late civil rights activist Rev. A. D. William King, Sr. (the younger brother of Martin Luther King) and his wife Naomi Barber King, falsely claims to be a minister: neither ordained nor anointed, and not within her father’s church.  She has none of the charity required by the Jesus of the New Testament as detailed in his sermon on the mountain (Matthew 5-7) and is opposed to affirmative action and assistance for Black people (and people of other races, too), single parents, and individuals with AIDS

Alveda King calls herself a Christian, but she has never met, studied, or introduced in her self-glorifying speeches and harangues against women seeking the right of choice, the LGBT community protesting for basic civil and human rights, or fathers wanting equal rights in a single statement that the Jesus of the New Testament is recorded to have said (Rollan McCleary (2004). A Special Illumination: Authority, Inspiration and Heresy in Gay Spirituality, Queensland, Australia: David Brown Book Co.; London, UK and Oakville, CT : Equinox Publishers.).  If Jesus would have stood before her, Alveda would stone him as he never had a girl friend, he never married, he never had children, he never condemned LGBT person but said to everyone that they were to love one another (John 13:34-35).

Alveda King, unlike the Jewish Jesus of the New Testament (long before the Emperor Constantine catalytically changed the rabbi’s message opening salvation to everyone into a myopic minister mincing for the tranquility of a tarnished Empire), lies each moment she breathes a word in favor of her pet projects.  The young Miss King was known to be headstrong and demanding with her parents, and her father took to drinking to drown his depression.

Alfred Daniel Williams King (1930 – 1969)

One day, early in her life, Alveda’s father was found dead in his swimming pool that was strange by all accounts as the Reverend   A. D. [Alfred Daniel] William King was known to be a good swimmer (King, Martin Luther (1980). Daddy King: An Autobiography. New York, NY: Morrow, p. 192).  Some argued it was a suicide to escape the anguish he experienced with his daughter, Alveda who had none of his idealism, none of his love for humanity, none of his energy to work for the good of all people–but preferred to strike out in her own interests for herself alone as seen in her serial marriages and private life.

While Alveda promotes the alleged sanctity of marriage, Ms. King seldom practiced what she preached about matrimonial stability, fidelity, and loyalty, as Alveda King was married (once because of date-rape) and divorced three times, giving birth to six living children.  One can comment, as many have before me, that Alveda King, who claims that marriage is a sacred institution as defined  by her god, certainly was not redefining marriage, just exercising her right to it, over and over and over again.  Alveda’s hypocrisy is appalling, and a sign of the mental malaise of narcissistic personality disorder (Naso, Ronald C. (2007). “Beneath the mask: Hypocrisy and the pathology of shame”. doi: 10.1037/0736-9735.24.1.113.  Psychoanalytic Psychology, Vol 24(1), January 2007, 113-125; the mental illness of Alveda King can be illustrated by two points relevant to her own hypocrisy: (a) misperceive one’s behavior as moral and (b) avoid comparing one’s behavior with moral standards: cf. Batson, C. Daniel; Thompson, Elizabeth R.; Seuferling, Greg; Whitney, Heather; Strongman, Jon A. (1999). “Moral hypocrisy: Appearing moral to oneself without being so”. doi: 10.1037/0022-3514.77.3.525. Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Vol 77(3), Sep 1999, 525-537; cp. Martin Luther King Jr, with Father & Son (Photo by Richard Avedon 1963)

Alveda King had two abortions.  She tried to have a third.  The third quest was met with rebuff as neither her father nor grandfather would pay for it. There were far cheaper forms of birth control, she was told.

Alveda King has moderate literacy but a paucity of understanding the nuances of what she says and shows no mature patterns of reading or relating what is read to her life as she lives it.  She studied journalism and sociology as an undergraduate but left no mark of distinction behind.  Alveda received a Master of Arts degree (not an MBA) in business management from Central Michigan University.  She did not earn a doctoral degree.  Her doctorate is honorary and it is not in theology, bible, or any basic science that she now pretends to possess.  She has no credentials in ministry, theology, bible study, or biblical languages.  She took the honorary doctorate from Saint Anselm College (a Benedictine Roman Catholic school in Manchester, New Hampshire, which has no established criteria in awarding any honorary degree, but has higher standards for undergraduate admission requiring students to be in the upper 23% of their graduating class, and offers 57.7% of its classes with a class size of 20 or less students to facilitate greater teacher-student contact ratio; The average freshman retention rate, an indicator of student satisfaction, is 84.8 percent. Cost is over $33,000 a year, although scholarship of up to $18,000 are available).  Alveda explained her own surprise at being given the degree and told Salon that she may have received it do to “my stand on the support of marriage, and family, and education, and life” (Denvir, Daniel (August 27, 2010). “Meet MLK’s Glenn Beck-loving niece”. Salon).

Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr. , June 22, 1963

Her public work consisted of two terms in the Georgia legislature.  She was not responsible for any significant piece of legislation. While she brags that she is for the family and education, her political record has zero bills introduced by the legislator who took no official party label.  Representing the 28th district (see page 2051) her main accomplishment is she accepted a salary.  Today Alveda is a Tea-Party Republican and wrongfully claims that her uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, was a Republican even though Martin Luther King worked tirelessly against Goldwater and other Republicans throughout his lifetime.  She is on talk shows and working with “Priests for Life” (with no criticism for pedophiles in the priesthood) but exerts no effort in support for the family, marriage, or education.

Eddie Murphy (actor)

After two disastrous terms in the Georgia legislature, Alveda King left the to write, without stellar success, The Arab Heart. When Eddie Murphy made a movie that she claimed followed her unsold manuscript, Alveda denounced Paramount Pictures claiming that the film industry stole her story.  She sued. The case was given the number 20 F.3d 454: Alveda King Beal, Plaintiff-appellant, v. Paramount Pictures Corporation, et al., Defendants-appellees.

Ms. King’s claim was thrown out of lower courts.  Their decision was upheld by the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. – 20 F.3d 454, that wrote that the script used by Eddie Murphy had little resemblance to the story written by King.

Ever since Alveda King lost her court case over a unpublishable and unpublished book/script she has been on a roller coaster ride of unleashed and irrational hatred. She is like an Old Testament prophet: outraged, boisterous, damning others and calling for the deaths of those who disagreed with them.

Coretta Scott King

Her aunt, Coretta Scott King, was her apotheosis, especially when Coretta Scott King, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s wife and Alveda’s aunt, said before she passed away in 2006, “I believe all Americans who believe in freedom, tolerance and human rights have a responsibility to oppose bigotry and prejudice based on sexual orientation.” Apparently that was lost on Alveda King, who has done nothing to preserve the true memory of her uncle; rather, she has continued to molest, tarnish and chip away at his memory throughout her lifetime.

Coretta Scott King supported all civil and human rights

After Coretta Scott King came out in support for human rights and LGBT civil liberties in 2004 (read here and watch here), Alveda’s vitriol hit a new high. In 1994, Alveda released a letter condemning Coretta Scott King’s support for abortion and gay and all other human rights, pontificating like any Old Testament Prophet poisoning minds and badgering families or any medieval pope, that such action in support of human rights would bring “curses on your house and your people … cursing, vexation, rebuke in all that you put your hand to, sickness will come to you and your house, your bloodline will be cut off.”

Herndon Davis (L) interviews civil rights activist, Lynn Cothren (R)

Alveda King quickly attacked Lynn Cothren, Coretta Scott King’s openly gay special assistant of 23 years.  Alveda King’s homophobia and lack of quality or significant knowledge about AIDS illustrating an odious irrational mental illness by itself that made her dangerous to those she came in contact with (cf. McGuire, John; Nieri, Deborah; Abbott, David; Sheridan, Kathleen; Fisher, Randy (1995). “Do Tarasoff principles apply in AIDS-related psychotherapy? Ethical decision-making and the role of therapist homophobia and perceived client dangerousness”. doi: 10.1037/0735-7028.26.6.608. Professional Psychology: Research and Practice, Vol 26(6), December 1995, 608-611. Cp. Trezza, Glenn R. (1994). “HIV knowledge and stigmatization of persons with AIDS: Implications for the development of HIV education for young adults”. doi: 10.1037/0735-7028.25.2.141. Professional Psychology: Research and Practice, Vol 25(2), May 1994, 141-148), Cothren recalled Alveda’s vocal opposition to a hospice for AIDS patients in her neighborhood and her rejection of any AIDS sufferer–male or female, heterosexual or homosexual (cf. Morrison, Constance F. (1989). “AIDS: Ethical implications for psychological intervention”. doi: 10.1037/0735-7028.20.3.166. Professional Psychology: Research and Practice, Vol 20(3), Jun 1989, 166-171). Once, says Cothren, Alveda brought religious tracts to the King Center and encouraged him to repent (ref. Slater, Barbara R. (1988). “Essential issues in working with lesbian and gay male youths”. doi: 10.1037/0735-7028.19.2.226. Professional Psychology: Research and Practice, Vol 19(2), Apr 1988, 226-235), but Coretta Scott King dealt with her niece firmly and the separation occurred and it was permanent.  From that time on, Alveda has worked to make a name for herself and to cast aspersions on her aunt who died in 2006.

Glorifying herself with narcissistic servile adulation, Alveda King arrogantly boasted: “I’ve got his DNA [this claim has never been proven]. She [Coretta Scott King] doesn’t, she didn’t … Therefore[,] I know something about him [this is one more god-complex King uses to diminish her own sense of worthlessness] in quest of crowd or group concurring with the boast (cp. Martin, Everett Dean (1920). “The egoism of the crowd-mind,” (pp. 73-91) in The behavior of crowds: A psychological study, (pp. 73-91). New York, NY, US: MacMillan Co, iii, 312 pp). I’m made out of the same stuff (illustrating a manifestation of neediness envy and the malignant potential of envy; cf. Shoshani, Michael; Shoshani, Batya; Kella, Rachel; Becker, Mitchel (2011).  “Green eyes, crows, and scorpions: Envy in the contexts of neediness, separateness, and narcissism”. doi: 10.1037/a0024679. Psychoanalytic Psychology, July 25 , 2011; when a person feels as if they are supplanted by a superior person or fears that there is another individual who receives more recognition, as with Coretta Scott King, the individual, such as Alveda King, reverts to pathological narcissism; cp. Paris, Joel (2012). “Modernity and Narcissistic Personality Disorder”. doi: 10.1037/a0028580. Personality Disorders: Theory, Research, and Treatment, July 16 , 2012).”  Alveda does not understand, or chooses to ignore, that each person has a unique DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid that contains genetic instructions of cellular composition but it is not absolute as a determiner, and there is no record of Alveda having her DNA compared with her uncle Dr. Martin Luther King or any uncle nor even her grandfather); all a DNA sampling can do is confirm similarity and paternity.

Julian Bond Attacks NOM, Tells AC360 Gay Rights Are Civil Rights

Civil rights activists uniformly reject the protestations and pretenses of Alveda, denouncing her as ruining the legacy of Martin Luther King that she repeatedly demonstrated a lack of familiarity with and view her as a fraud (recollection and familiarity are not the same; performance is more parsimoniously accounted for by a single mnemonic process that drives both recollection and familiarity estimates, and Alveda King shows little familiarity with the Civil Rights movement; cf. Pratte, Michael S.; Rouder, Jeffrey N. (2012). “Assessing the dissociability of recollection and familiarity in recognition memory”. doi: 10.1037/a0028144. Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition, Vol 38(6), Nov 2012, 1591-1607). David Garrow, a civil rights movement historian at the University of Cambridge has noted that Dr. Martin Luther King was a strong supporter of Planned Parenthood, and that Bayard Rustin, one of the five closest advisors to Dr. King was openly gay—which Dr. Martin Luther King did not denounce.  Julian Bond, President Emeritus of the NAACP, called on all people of Maryland to support same-sex marriage as a basic civil right.

Alveda King supports war as biblically based: Kill Team Photos Showcasing War Crimes of US Soldiers in Afghanistan …

Alveda supports wars, especially in Afghanistan and Iraq. Claiming “conflicts and tensions, war and murders,” are Biblically based, Alveda says there will always be “wars and rumors of wars [quoting out of context Matthew 24:6]” but in doing so justifies the wars that maim, kill, plunder, pollute and are psychologically harmful (cf. Phipps, Sean (2011). “Positive psychology and war: An oxymoron”. doi: 10.1037/a0024933. American Psychologist, Vol 66(7), Oct 2011, 641-642). People will fight with words as well as guns proving their alleged humanity, but only in their own mind as a form of justification for dangerous and destruction of the self and mental health.  Her comments that made her a favorite of Glenn Beck.

Alveda King support torture as biblical will of God

What psychologists have learned is if religion increases moral certainty about the justness of a war, then it may also contribute to support for violent warfare, rape, pillage and destruction that, in the end, will cause increased mental illness, collective insanity, and excuses for torture and unspeakable crimes leading to methodologically induced suicides.

Suicide Rivals The Battlefield In Toll On U.S. Military; Alveda King and Tea Party Republicans claim it is in God’s plan

The rate of suicides among military have skyrocketed with soldiers using weapons engraved or emblazoned with Biblical verses. As Shaw, et al. point out greater religiosity relates to greater moral certainty, and greater moral certainty strengthens the (positive) relation between religiosity and support for violent warfare. Furthermore, moral certainty is a stronger predictor of support for violent warfare in religious conflict than it is in geopolitical conflict and those with the least mental strength but robustness of voice and vocabulary are heralded as spokespeople for divine wrath, as with Alveda King and Glenn Beck (cf. Shaw, Moira; Quezada, Stephanie A.; Zárate, Michael A. (2011). “Violence with a conscience: Religiosity and moral certainty as predictors of support for violent warfare”. doi: 10.1037/ a0025346. Vol 40(2), Jun 2009, 93-103).  The stronger the group identity is focused on a holy war (common among jihadists in Afghanistan and the Middle East and evangelical extremists in the USA) the stronger will be the outcry for greater atrocities and war strategies, as advocated by Alveda King and Glenn Beck (cf. Eidelson, Roy J. (2009). “An individual-group belief framework: Predicting life satisfaction, group identification, and support for the “ war on terror”. doi: 10.1080/10781910802435572. Peace and Conflict: Journal of Peace Psychology, Vol 15(1), Jan 2009, 1-26).  Ted Cruz of Texas is the most dangerous man in the USA and is expected to win a Senate seat as a representative of the Tea Party and pro-life/pro-war groups in 2012, with plans to escalate the conflict in the Middle East to bring about his god’s Armageddon and force the god of Matthew 10:34 to ride out of the heavens and bring carnage to the earth to free believers from unbelievers.

Alveda King has verbally attacked everything that her illustrious uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, preached and practiced.  She has claimed that people who support same-sex marriage equality will go to hell—but there is no such condemnation in the Bible, as the word “homosexual” does not even appear in the Bible before 1954. The concept has a long history used to control thinking and actions; it is a mythology that restricts movements and causes mental collapse so that the individuals declaring its existence stay in power (cf. Bering, Jesse M. (2008). “Why Hell is other people: Distinctively human psychological suffering”. doi: 10.1037/1089-2680.12.1.1. Review of General Psychology, Vol 12(1), Mar 2008, 1-8) .  Hell does not exist on any fragment or scroll in early language: Aramaic, Armenian, Greek, Hebrew, or even Latin save as a dark place (Sheol: Hebrew שְׁאוֹל Šʾôl thattranslates as “grave”, “pit”, “abode/home of the dead” and is defined as the place where everyone, good and bad, righteous and unrighteous will go when each person dies (890 – 300 BCE); some thought that there would be a time when the dead would rise up as “the undead” [zombies] but that does not appear in the Christian Bible until Matthew 27:52-53).  Since Hell is “downward” and dark it is cold and uninviting, while “Heaven” is “upward” and filled with light and warmth, the two conflicting mental attainments lead or coerce people into doing what the authoritarian figure(s: priest, rabbis/teachers, rulers, etc.) determine to be worthy of light and recognition.  The opposite is to be rejected since it determines only obscurity and lack of acceptance (cf. Meier, Brian P.; Hauser, David J.; Robinson, Michael D.; Friesen, Chris Kelland; Schjeldahl, Katie (2007). “What’s “up” with God? Vertical space as a representation of the divine”. doi: 10.1037/0022-3514.93.5.699. Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Vol 93(5), Nov 2007, 699-710).  Hell (Gehenna [Greek γέεννα], Gehinnom [Rabbinical Hebrew: גהנום/גהנם] a physical valley) does not appear in any of the early Bibles written by Eusebius under orders from the Emperor Constantine I who commissioned the first fifty Bibles.  For Alveda to blast people with these repulsive terms out of context of any ancient language but relying on fourteenth century mistranslations and erroneous interpretations fashions the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King into an intellectual charlatan and fraud.  Alveda King’s language ability is not even sophomoric or soundly based on competent English but rather a gutter-approach to street English.

King has shown no knowledge at any level about the Bible, as demonstrated in her attendance to Glenn Beck’s pathetic parade of pandering people at his Washington DC Restoring Honor rally. Alveda forgot to read Matthew 6:6: σὺ δὲ ὅταν προσεύχῃ εἴσελθε εἰς τὸ ταμεῖόν σου καὶ κλείσας τὴν θύραν σου πρόσευξαι τῷ πατρί σου τῷ ἐν τῷ κρυπτῷ καὶ ὁ πατήρ σου ὁ βλέπων ἐν τῷ κρυπτῷ ἀποδώσει σοι, Mark 4:36: καὶ ἀφέντες τὸν ὄχλον παραλαμβάνουσιν αὐτὸν ὡς ἦν ἐν τῷ πλοίῳ, καὶ ἄλλα πλοῖα ἦν μετ’ αὐτοῦ, and Matthew 18:20: οὗ γὰρ εἰσιν δύο ἢ τρεῖς συνηγμένοι εἰς τὸ ἐμὸν ὄνομα, ἐκεῖ εἰμι ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν; that was no longer a part of Glenn Beck’s religion of choice at that time when Glenn Beck chose an alternate route to truth.

30,000 at Reliant Stadium in Houston, TX 2012

The majority of those who claim to be Christians (following Imperial laws decreed at the Council of Nicaea) reject those teachings of Jesus in their large assemblies.  This draconian deed dominated Rick Perry’s Day of Prayer in Houston (known as “The Response” that had the markings of a political campaign) that had the same trappings as Jim Jones’ Jonestown, Guyana,

November 19, 1978, Jamestown Massacre for Christ and Rev. Jim Jones

Massacreon November 18, 1978 (one-third of the victims were children as young as new born and others in infancy).  Parents murdered their own children.  Many adults committed suicide as commanded by their reverend Jim Jones, before  Jones was shot on his order by one of his subordinates who was told to obey God–as Jones had become god to most and his orders were never questioned (the Guyanese coroner Cyrill Mootoo claimed it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound; Reiterman, Tim and Jacobs, John (1981). Raven: The Untold Story of Rev. Jim Jones and His People. New York, NY: Dutton,  p. 565)–in a way that Alveda King fashions herself to be a god even within the narrow confines of the Priests for Life of the Roman Catholic Church.  There is no difference in the speeches of Jim Jones or other demigods than is found in the oratory and harangue of Alveda King when she speaks to Blacks–as Jones spoke to  hundreds of Black families who came to experience his heaven on earth.

Martin Luther King, Jr. “I Have A Dream” speech 1963.

It is true that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. used the Lincoln Memorial as a backdrop for his August 28, 1963, “I Have A Dream” speech (watch it here and here), but it was not an attack upon the rights of people to adequate housing, quality education, or the right to be themselves (the term same-sex and homosexual were not yet in common use, but would be integrated by Julian Bond who would become the leader and President of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) with King’s assassination, and in 2012 say “gay rights are civil rights” read here and here and here) as transmogrified in the war of words by Alveda King and former Roman Catholic (now a convert to the LDS Church) modern-day Sisyphus Glenn Beck, who like Alveda King has little practice following Acts 10:34.

1909 Lincoln Evening News: “No law against woman marrying another woman”

Alveda blasts those who would follow the teaching of the Jesus of the New Testament who forbade judgment against others (Matthew 7:1) in her declaration “Your safety of your very soul is dependent upon not supporting marriage for loving same-sex couples, who already have enough rights”, in this ad she recorded for the anti-gay Maryland Marriage Alliance (click on the underscored link above to hear the verbal screed that is printed below):

Voting on discrimination (2012)

“Hello, I’m Dr. [sic (people with honorary degrees do not use the honorary title)] Alveda King, the niece of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I understand the civil rights struggle [she was never personally involved in any civil rights struggle, although the home she lived in was fire-bombed in 1963, when she was 12]. During the Civil Rights Movement, we were working for access to education, to decent housing, jobs, and healthcare [there is no record, no photograph, and no other evidence of her participating in any march, any protest, or any other movement for civil rights for any person or people]. As a minister [she is not: she has never been to a seminary, never studied hermeneutics or biblical exegesis nor even textual criticism; Alveda is a “ pastoral associate of African-America outreach for Priests for Life, (her self-written biography styles her a “best-selling author” and jailed for protesting for open housing, although there is no civil record of her arrest; it also claims that Alveda is pushing for Bible curriculum in public schools, and lists herself as accomplished actress and songwriter)” a Roman Catholic anti-choice group, King styles herself a Baptist], I believe that the NAACP leadership and gay rights activists have formed an unholy alliance by trying to convince you and me that marriage should be redefined. We did not define marriage and we cannot redefine marriage. Marriage, by definition, is a holy union [that is not found anywhere in the Bible] between one man and one woman [Alveda ignores the polygamy of all patriarchs, and the incest within families (II Samuel 13:1-22) as with King David’s sons]. Gay and lesbian couples already have rights under Maryland law, like priority hospital visitation, sharing property, tax exemption, adoption, and the list goes on. It’s possible to be tolerant of gay and lesbian rights without redefine [sic: redefining] marriage—God’s holy union. Some preachers are saying that gay marriage is inevitable and that they want to be on the right side of history. Well I believe that we are on the right side of history and the right side of eternity. Support marriage as God’s holy union between one man and one woman—vote against Question Six.”

Harry Jackson of Maryland

The greatest threats are those ministers like “bishop” Harry Jackson of Maryland, that the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) paid no less than $20,000 for their support in their crusade to deny freedom of choice. Like most Pentecostal pastors Jackson will doing anything for money, preying that he is endowed with the wealth his god intended him to possess.

The right side of eternity? Alveda is God? God is political? Wow.

Threat of John Nienstedt and the American Council of Roman Catholic Bishops to America, Democracy and Freedom

John Nienstedt, agent of a foreign government intent on overthrowing democracy in the USA

John Nienstedt, the Minnesota pedophile-protecting archbishop of St. Paul and Minneapolis who spoke out demanding that the maximum monetary damage be set at $64,000 for convicted clergy pedophiles (knowing Father David Roney was a pedophile and did nothing to stop the priest nor shield those the priest attacked), now guards the tortured traumas of Michele Bachmann (R-MN) who rants against lesbians and the LGBT community, recently told a mother who asked him to be civil and accept her gay child, that she might join her child in hell (a place that John Paul II rejected, calling Hell a state of mind, but the German pope restored as an eternal place of suffering) if she does not embrace the Roman Catholic Church’s teachings on homosexuality.  The predatory prelate penned pathetically a letter that read, in part:  “Your eternal salvation may well depend upon a conversation of heart on this topic,” Nienstedt wrote the mother a letter

Nienstedt’s letter to mother telling her she will go to hell.

“Catholics are bound in conscience to believe in this teaching. Those who do not cannot consider themselves to be Catholic and ought not to participate in the sacramental life of the Church.”

In 2007, Nienstedt actually breyed: “”[those] who actively encourage or promote homosexual acts… formally cooperate in a grave evil, and… are guilty of mortal sin”. Not all priests agree with their leader.  Father Bob Pierson, an openly gay priest in Collegeville, told 200 Catholics in Edina they should vote with their conscience, not the Archbishop, if they don’t support the same-sex marriage ban.

Roman Catholics in Minnesota abandon the mind-control sought by Nienstedt by voting their conscience in 2012

Many Roman Catholics in Edina, St. Paul, Minneapolis and throughout Minnesota declared their independence of the draconian Nienstedt.  They expressed their opposition to the tyrant’s threats and put signs in their yards that expressed their values–and not those of the predator in St. Paul.

In defending his opposition to same-sex marriage and other basic human and civil rights, Mr. Nienstedt’s letter proves that the clerical leader has no knowledge of the Jesus of the New Testament. The letter further demonstrates that the Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church has no relationship or reference to the message of the canonical Gospels or to the man hailed in those Gospel: Jesus.

The Roman Catholic Catechism is, at best, a specious, sophistical study.  Nienstedt claims that it reflects the message of Jesus, but a scholarly study of this equivocal diaskeaus compendium shows that any similarity is superficial at best and blatantly bogus in fact.  For example, Jesus never judged anyone, not even the publicly denounced adulteress related in John 8:7.  No where does Jesus condemn alcohol or drunkenness (he was accused of being a drunkard in Luke 7:33-34), and in fact turned water into wine (John 2:1-11, a common ritual especially for magi[cians] from Egypt who toured the Middle East carrying bowls on which were written the characters Christus) as unions between people were celebrated with heavy drinking and debauchery. Furthermore, as Matthew (it is from this gospel that the myth of a papacy is taken: Matthew 16:18) 7:1 clearly and forcefully presents Jesus forbade anyone from judging another mortal. Nienstedt, like the rest of the Roman Catholic bishops conveniently forgets this passage, proving that the pathetic pulpiteer pretender in St. Paul/Minneapolis is not only a fractional follower of the Jesus of the New Testament, but shows no signs of ever having studied the canonical Gospels, nor the Book of the Acts of the Apostles.

Nienstedt’s knowledge of the ancient language is nonexistent.  His pretense at scholarship is silent as a dead door knob that shuts out scientific investigation.  This is clearly seen in his doctoral dissertation entitled, Human Life in a Test-tube; the Moral Dimension of In Vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer (Roma : Pontificia Universitas Lateranensis. Academia Alfonsiana. Institutum Superius Theologiae Moralis, 1985; 321 p.).  Nienstedt’s polemic shows a distain for medicine, science, and investigation.  It is a religious posturing of the worse sort and lacks all scholarship.

Nienstedt’s marginal managing of scripture is legendary, showing no familiarity with  Acts 10:34: Ἀνοίξας δὲ Πέτρος τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ εἶπεν· Ἐπ’ ἀληθείας καταλαμβάνομαι ὅτι οὐκ ἔστι προσωπολήπτης ὁ Θεός or aperiens autem Petrus os dixit in veritate conperi quoniam non est personarum acceptor Deus,. or any other reference to charity (e.g. 1 Corinthians 13).  As if he were elected to the post of a god, Nienstedt openly judges, cavalierly condemns and superciliously sees a conflict between authority and obedience, both of which he argues are absolutes and in his personal domain.

Mr. Nienstedt demonstrates fallacious synthetic scenarios of how far mortals can devolve into preying monsters rattling rosaries made from the torn and twisted dreams of many while mangling messages mouthed menacingly against others in the quest to deny human freedom or civil rights to those who need succor and amelioration not theological torture and torment that trends throughout Roman Catholic Church history.  This impious prelate’s draconian DVD is a barbaric bastardized attack on the sexual rights of individuals is tantamount to his dissertation: every sperm is sacred, as if he were a ghost writer for Monty Python.  The Jesus of the New Testament made no comment, did not utter one word on sex, and never sanctified or define marriage in any manner as grotesque as those bible pounders and bully pulpiteers from the beginnings of the self-serving sycophant and fawing parasite Billy Graham, the original Elmer Gantry–who scrubbed clean his aspersionson the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day

Billy Graham’s 2005 condemnation of Mormons

Saints that he equated to being a cult, to Richard Land and the Council of Roman Catholic Bishops in the USA.  Graham’s hatred for those who do not toe his dictatorial demands are damned as sinners, reprobates, and worse–as if he were the dictionary for gutter-mouth Rush Limbaugh, but he cannot top the salty sentences and fractured fanaticism of the St. Paul troglodyte (the τρωγλοδύτης σπηλιά from which Nienstedt emerged in 1985).

The Star-Tribune profiled the anti-gay marriage debate in Minnesota, one of four states that will have marriage on the ballot in November. The article in the main Minnesota paper notes that Mr. Nienstedt had crossed over the threshold established by the Internal Revenue Service on what a charitable institution can do.

Neinstedt rallying evangelical extremists against civil rights 2012

Mr. Nienstedt and the evangelical extremists whom he has contacted in his war on human rights has committed more than $650,000 in church money—in direct violation of IRS code  § 508(c)(1)(A) against meddling in a political movement (and tearing down the wall separating state and church). Nienstedt repeatedly has stitched defiance of federal laws concerning behavior of organizations that strike out against democracy by sewing together a coalition of leaders from other faiths while exerting all his power within the church to press Minnesota’s million-plus Roman Catholics to back his attack on people.

This is the same maneuver as used by Adolf Hitler to weigh in with his toppling German democracy at the end of the 1930s.  Nienstedt argues that civil rights are not for everyone–only those who agree with him.

An avowed agent for the supremist government of Vatican City over that of the government of the USA, Nienstedt, like many evangelical extremeists, is intimately involved in working to overthrow the basic principles and premises of the Constitution of the USA that guarantees that all people are be treated equally following the passage of the Fourteenth Amendment—so that no one is enslaved as are those Nienstedt opposes: the LGBT community, heterosexuals who want a baby but cannot have one “in the traditional manner as ordained by [g]od”, and those who do not fit into rabid religiosity that Mr. Nienstedt demands. Their bully pulpit’s billy club is the multi-redacted specious ersatz bible, their attack is their mind crippling sermons, and their goal is mythological Matthew 10:34 (added at a later date but one verse that all prayer warriors hail as authentic) that crystalizes on putrescent platforms more in keeping with theaters than the mutilated, misconstrued message of Jesus on prayer (Matthew 6:6: σὺ δὲ ὅταν προσεύχῃ εἴσελθε εἰς τὸ ταμεῖόν σου καὶ κλείσας τὴν θύραν σου πρόσευξαι τῷ πατρί σου τῷ ἐν τῷ κρυπτῷ καὶ ὁ πατήρ σου ὁ βλέπων ἐν τῷ κρυπτῷ ἀποδώσει σοι (the Latin Vulgate is: tu autem cum orabis intra in cubiculum tuum et cluso ostio tuo ora Patrem tuum in abscondito et Pater tuus qui videt in abscondito reddet tibi, while those who openly steal from Latino/a Christians seldom read Pero tú, cuando ores, entra en tu aposento, y cuando hayas cerrado la puerta, ora a tu Padre que está en secreto, y tu Padre, que ve en lo secreto, te recompensará as it would cost them their royalties and rich life style; the myth in Luke 16:19–31 comes from older antecedents, including Jewish and ancient Egypt–see The Interpreter’s Bible, Vol. 8 (New York: Abingdon Press), p. 290, and Bauckham, Richard (1998). The fate of the dead: studies on the Jewish and Christian apocalypses. Leiden, Netherlands: E. J. Brill, p. 101).

Minnesota is the only state seeking to ban same-sex marriage in its constitution in 2012 (other states did that at earlier dates), and Nienstedt is working closely with other treacherous theological benighted traitors to the USA: the odious opportunistic Council of Roman Catholic bishops and clergy leagued with marginalized cults and their ludicrous leaching leaders transuding thought in the states of Washington, Maine, and Maryland where the people are seeking to legalize marriage equality.

Guilty of money laundering, Nienstedt does not report the tremendous amounts of cash he has received surrepititiously from NOM and various other certified hate groups, including the The American Family Association, Focus on the Family, and iniquitous institutions working to overthrow democracy in the USA.

As the Star-Tribune reported: “Nienstedt is not a new disciple to the traditional marriage campaign.”.  Nienstedt has a long and sordid, solid, and strangling history of opposition to human rights. For example, as the Star-Tribune detailed:  In 2006, as bishop of the diocese of New Ulm, Mr. Nienstedt mobilized Catholics to send postcards to lawmakers urging them to support a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage.  His church paid for the cards and postage from private tithes of parishoners who had marked the money for use in repairing the church and other institutional needs: not one gave money to launch the genocidic war Nienstedt invisions.  Neinstedt’s using contributions as if they were his own furthers the criminal culpability of the German Pontifex Maximus (a title for ancient Roman war emperors who took on the role of high priest of the state in charge of keeping the gods peace while wearing golden bee-hives symbolic of their strength; this title remained secular until 375 CE, and in the East it was known as ἀρχιερεὺς μέγιστος), Josef Ratzinger, who has struck out as he did when a Nazi Youth, to destroy personal prerogatives and human rights.

Not long after he was patrimonially promoted to archbishop in 2008, Mr. Nienstedt ordered an end to the gay pride prayer service at St. Joan of Arc.  The medieval Roman Catholic Church accused the “Maid of Orleans” of being a lesbian at her trial since she wore the clothes of a man.  This act was seen by English prelates as a sign of cross-dressing that was denounced because of a misreading of  Deuteronomy 22:5.  Joan’s judges, who were much like Nienstedt, ridiculed Joan for her difformitate habitus (degenerate clothing) and the fifteenth century accounts skirt on the issue of transvestitism.  Joan was bullied by the breiers of Rome for such alleged but unproven charges even during her execution by fire.

The Roman Catholic Church in Minneapolis that had become embittered with tart and tangled traditions forfeited the backing of more contemporary clerics who understood the benefits of diversity.  They stood silent, however, as the war on human rights fired out of the maniacal magnum mouth of the homophobic psychopathic prelate (cp. Poteat, V. Paul; O’Dwyer, Laura M.; Mereish, Ethan H. (2012). “Changes in how students use and are called homophobic epithets over time: Patterns predicted by gender, bullying, and victimization status”, doi: 10.1037/a0026437; Journal of Educational Psychology, Vol 104(2), May 2012, 393-406).  Most who are as homophobic as Nienstedt, who labor to hide homophobia behind a stained curtain of self-righteousness and religiosity, are actually afraid that their own homosexuality will become apparent (cf. Stotzer, Rebecca L.; Shih, Margaret (2012). “The relationship between masculinity and sexual prejudice in factors associated with violence against gay men”, doi: 10.1037/a0023991; Psychology of Men & Masculinity, Vol 13(2), Apr 2012, 136-142. Special Section: Recent Research on Gay and Bisexual Men) as seen not only in Nienstedt but especially in such rabid anti-LGBT people as Maggie Gallagher and Billy Graham.  Homosexuality has been the whipping boy for contemporary 20th-21st century Christianity, whereas in the introduction of the Christian Church created at Nicaea in the fourth century CE, it was an assault of “effeminancy” and “inverted” sexuality.  Anti-LGBT tirades, such as those by Gallagher and Bryan Fischer, Pentecostal, Southern Baptist and Mormon leaders frequently lead to suicides that the religions deny are the result of intolerant faiths, especially among the Mormons and Pentecostals. Only with parental support, as in the case of the mother defending and seeking support for her child, does the chance of suicide as a result of bullying lessen (cf. Poteat, V. Paul; Mereish, Ethan H.; DiGiovanni, Craig D.; Koenig, Brian W. (2011). “The effects of general and homophobic victimization on adolescents’ psychosocial and educational concerns: The importance of intersecting identities and parent support”, doi: 10.1037/a0025095; Journal of Counseling Psychology, Vol 58(4), Oct 2011, 597-609).

Before the 2010 election, Nienstedt sinisterly defied IRS code against church being involved in political affairs by leading a move to send DVDs opposing same-sex marriage to 400,000 Catholics in Minnesota.  He rabidly took a staring role in speaking out against human freedom by giving a six-minute introduction. He was hailed as if he were a new messiah (from the Aramaic word meshiha that means “anointed” and “warrior”), and exposed the duplicity of the Roman Catholic Church and the venal, viciously self-serving American Council of Roman Catholic Bishops in breach of federal laws.  There is no given answer why the IRS tolerates the American Council of Roman Catholic Bishops and has not yet expelled the bishops from the USA, even though there remains a growing abundance of evidence that the bishops are foreign agents of a subversive country intent on transmogrifying the laws and judgments of courts created by the Constitution of the USA.

Nienstedt’s continuing attacks on personal freedom, human and civil rights reached the nadir in his attack on a mother who was defending her child. It seems as if the suffragan would have squealed with delight if he could have gone after the New Testament Mary while making sport beneath the cross where her son was hung as congregants rallied around to hurl bullying insults and protestations in anticipation of one more death.  Nienstedt has proven himself to be the greatest of all bullies in Minnesota, and his petrifying presentation has been taken up by parish pastoral pedophiles and prelates who appear in red dresses and white lace in public as they condemn cross-dressers.

Nienstedt had become the new Mephistopheles of the Roman Catholic mission in the USA.  Nienstedt has egregiously exposed the Roman Catholic Church clergy as being among the most despicable and pathetic predators of the twenty-first century.

Truth Wins Out (TWO) Executive Director Wayne Besen noted in a statement concerning the reprehensible letter of the sinister subversive Nienstedt:  “It is appalling that Archbishop Nienstedt chose to issue such an un-Christian response to a vulnerable member of his flock who came to him seeking help.”  Besen’s rejection of the calloused crassness of Nienstedt that few had the courageous composure to say in exsposing this emulator’s expository attack on American values of fair play and respect for others who are a diverse as drops of rain: “[Neinstedt’s] letter shows just how deeply held his anti-gay views are.”  Neinstedt made clear he has only one goal: the bowdlerise of all factual evidence–a blackguard attack laid out in his dissertation in the same manner Adolf Hitler penned his passionate prose to damn and destroy all Jews in his blueprint for a Holocaust throughout the world: Mein Kampf.

In his invidiously insensitive letter, Nienstedt wrongfully wrote that Catholics are obligated to believe the Church’s official teachings on homosexuality.  For too long the Roman Catholic Church has struggled to deaden reason, corrupt learning, and cancel the conduct of inquiry as if it were in sisterhood with the Southern Baptist Convention and religion’s attack on science. This commiserable comment ignores history, existing copies of scrolls in the churches of the fourth century and used by Eusebius when he wrote the Bible on the order of the Emperor of Constantine I (Eusebius, Vita Constantini, IV,36-37).  No such teaching existed anywhere in the Bible as it came into being toward the end of the fourth century, and it was not known by either chrestianos or christianos.

The word homosexual was not even coined before the second half of the nineteenth century; neither homosexual nor homosexuality was known (much less alone used) in the Aramaic, Hebrew or Greek versions. It is not found in any Bible before 1954 and then it is out of context.   The words “homosexual” and “heterosexual” were coined by Károly Mária Benkert (a.k.a. K.M. Kertbeny) in 1869.  “Homosexual” was not used in among psychologists until 1892 when it was taken up, with trepidation, by Charles Gilbert Chaddock and then was used in a psychological framework (ref: Chaddock, Charles Gilbert (1892), trans. Psychopathia sexualis, with special reference to contrary sexual instinct: a medico-legal study by Richard von Krafft-Ebing. Philadelphia, PA, USA, and London, UK: F. A. Davis Co. Original was published in German in 1886 under the title Psychopathia sexualis : eine klinisch-forensische Studie and the neither the word homosexuelle nor the word Homosexualität appears in the first edition; the one cited here is an authorized translation of the seventh enlarged and revised German edition).

The word “homosexual” first appeared in an American Bible in 1973, the New International Version (NIV). It appeared in a version in the United Kingdom, the (NEB), a few years earlier.  That does not stop nor deter the hateful messages of Nienstedt.
The wanton biblical illiteracy of Nienstedt is acutely noted when he bleated that “those who do not… ought not to participate in the sacramental life of the Church.”  This is in direct opposition to the words of the Jesus of the New Testament (Matthew 26:26): ἐσθιόντων δὲ αὐτῶν λαβὼν ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἄρτον καὶ εὐλογήσας ἔκλασεν καὶ δοὺς τοῖς μαθηταῖς εἶπεν· λάβετε φάγετε, τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ σῶμά μου which was for those “assembled” and later qualified as being open to all regardless (Matthew 19:13-15, a demand rejected by Constantine’s Catholic Church). The elitism of Nienstedt is monarchial.
This was never the case in the early community as found in the Book of Acts where women attended and participated equal to men (as women were originally priests and bishops of the early communities before the Emperor Constantine created his “catholic [universal] church” in 325 CE.  What today is termed to be the “Roman Catholic Church” did not even have a leader, but followed the exhortations of various presbyters and pretenders as the community in Rome was divided between two groups known as chrestianos and christianos as there was no central Christ in the religion that rivaled the faith in the god Mithras.
Nienstedt exhorted the child’s mother to reconsider her inclusive spiritual beliefs, saying that “[her] eternal salvation may well depend on a conversation of heart on this topic.”  Salvation, contrary to the mentally challenged Nienstedt, is not found to be the prerogative of anyone to determine according to the Gospels.  The Gospels are clear as to what constitutes “salvation.”  In the early communities, salvation was understood to mean an inward recognition (Ephesians 1:13-14).  In Romans 9:10-14, salvation is achieved by merely stating the name Jesus. The authors of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, state that salvation comes to those who accept the message of the New Testament Jesus. Nowhere in the Bible does it claim that any man (or woman) on this planet has powers to determine salvation for anyone other than himself or herself. Salvation is not the monopoly of the Roman Catholic Church or Christianity— or any other religion. Nienstedt is an opportunist who is either deliberately ignorant of the Bible, or neglects to cite it fully.  John 3:17 and 5:24 (expanded, without authorization, in 1 Timothy 1:15), in direct opposition to Mr. Nienstedt and the evangelical extremist leaders states that only Jesus can offer salvation, and it is obtained individually without any intercession by any intercessor or cult leader.  It is won strictly by faith (Ephesians 2:8).  Nienstedt is a false prophet.  Credo-centered and demanding theologies do not stablize psychology but encourages bullying and ultimately the suicide of the bullied (cf. Cleary, Anne; Brannick, Teresa (2007). “Suicide and changing values and belief in Ireland”. doi: 10.1027/0227-5910.28.2.82. Crisis: The Journal of Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention, Vol 28(2), 2007, 82-88). Ireland used to be a heavily Roman Catholic country, but membership is sliding rapidly and even priests are leaving.

John Becker, investigative reporter, Truth Wins Out (2012)

John Becker, Director of Communications & Development for Truth Wins Out added: “Telling the parent of an LGBT child that she ‘ought not to participate in the sacramental life of the Church’ unless she renounces her pro-equality views – and that her ‘eternal salvation may well depend upon’ her willingness to accept the Catholic Church’s anti-gay teachings – is spiritual bullying of the highest order and utterly reprehensible. What kind of spiritual leader demands that a mother reject her child in order to save her soul?”

What is spiritual bullying?  It is not uncommon anywhere. Religion and its formal organizations has always been among the greatest bullies and leads to the greatest number of suicides. Spiritual bullying is trying to

  • get someone to behave by threatening them with God’s wrath.
  • control another’s actions by appearing superior to them.
  • get someone to believe by threatening hell.

This is the same absurdity pushed by Dominicans, Franciscans and other Inquisitors in the darkest days of Europe when the Roman Catholic Church in the West and the Orthodox Church in the East. In both cases, state-sanction religion destroyed lives, communities, and knowledge by elevating mortals to the ranks of gods—that met the ultimate insanity with the proclamation of Infallibility that is found nowhere in any Bible and had never been subject of councils or courts but pushed through by the unholy Pius IX at Vatican I.

Michelle Bachmann and Paul Ryan have no training in psychology yet support reparative therapy.

The fantasy that homosexuality is a matter of choice (denied by the American Psychological Association, the American Psychiatric Association, the American Pediatric Association and more than one-hundred professional mental health entities) and people can “pray away the gay” is the cornerstone for corrupt and disreputable people such as Marcus Bachmann and his wife Michelle Bachmann (R-MN), Rick Perry (R-TX), Bryan Fischer of the certified hate group American Family Association, the Cathys of Chick-Fil-A, and the Roman Catholic Council of Bishops, evangelical bishops such as Harry Johnson of Maryland, and others who make money by offering prayers for those who pay.

Harry Jackson of Maryland

Harry Jackson, a Pentecostal preacher and self-ordained bishop and has no authentic credentials as Pentecostals do not consecrate bishops, owns two homes in Silver Springs, Maryland, has become rich preaching hate, and  is equal to Adam West (R-FL) not only in claiming that homosexuality is a choice, but that all LGBT can automatically chose to change their nature that has been with them since birth.  Jackson has declared that LGBT have stolen “the rainbow” and are attempting “to recruit children” accusations that Dr. Martin Luther King rejected and his wife (Coretta Scott King), until her death, claimed evangelical extremists condemnation of Gay people to be a lie. Mrs. King, went so far as to claim that racism and homophobia are identical, distancing herself from her niece Alveda who has libeled and slandered her aunt and uncle and the message that Dr. King preached.

Harry Jackson’s continues to defy Matthew 7:1 and the message of the Jesus he pretends to preach.  His credential are none existent: he attended Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, where he played football, and later, while working at Corning Glass in Corning, New York, founded his own church.

Harry Jackson preaching hate

Jackson’s congregation is basically caucasian and have the mentality of Westboro Baptist Church that is anti-everything but their narrow reading of the bible.  Jackson has never studied theology and is totally ignorant of Aramaic, Hebrew, Greek and Latin, and reads a poor contemporary translation of the Bible, a version that not only is reprehensible but one that has no relationship to the original scrolls that Constantine I approved at his Council of Nicaea.

Marcus Bachmann unlicensed “psychologist”

Unlicensed and repudiated Marcus Bachmann (he is married to Michelle Bachmann) continues to offer the rejected therapy since Minnesota laws are lax.  It is illegal in California to offer this “reparative therapy” that leads to more suicides than helps anyone.

What would be best for the Minnesota community is that Nienstedt be ejected from the USA and deported to Vatican City as a spy and henchmen for Ratzinger.  While the early founders and first groups of Presidents of the USA rejected any role for any particular religion in the government of the USA, after the Civil Wart the government became enslaved to pastors, preachers, priests and other parasites so such deportation is not possible at this time.

The government of the USA must take into consideration the basic mental of its citizens, as suicide rises in Minnesota, especially in Minneapolis and St. Paul and throughout the 6th congressional district that has been grossly misrepresented in Congress Michele Bachmann where suicides are epidemic. Bachmann’s hysteria has caught the attention of the media, but she continues to run for Congress after losing her bid for the Republican nomination for President after she vowed to turn the USA into a theocracy (read here and here).

Nienstedt’s rejection can have devastating consequences for LGBT youth.  According to a 2009 study conducted by San Francisco State University researcher Caitlin Ryan and published in the Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics (123:1 346-352; doi:10.1542/peds.2007-3524; abstract is here), LGBT teens who experienced negative feedback from their families were 8 times more likely to have attempted suicide, 6 times more vulnerable to severe depression, and 3 times more likely to use drugs than teens who did not experience negative feedback (cp. Toomey, Russell B.; Ryan, Caitlin; Diaz, Rafael M.; Card, Noel A.; Russell, Stephen T. (2010). “Gender-nonconforming lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth: School victimization and young adult psychosocial adjustment”. doi: 10.1037/a0020705; Developmental Psychology, Vol 46(6), Nov 2010, 1580-1589).

“He silenced his priests under the order of obedience,” said Ed Flahavan, a member of Former [sometimes written as Resigned] Priests for Marriage Equality, a group that went public in May with the names of 80 former Minnesota Catholic priests against the amendment, noted in a Star-Tribune article, that Mr. Neinstedt silenced priests under the falsely labeled “order of obedience.”  Flahaven commented, “It’s the first time in my experience or knowledge that kind of blanket order has been given” in this archdiocese.

Teachers who encourage critical, independent thinking are removed from teaching in Roman Catholic schools.  Those who reject unconsciousable ultimatums from bishops are fired. This miscarriage of justice, so common in the Roman Catholic Church, occurred with Trish Cameron.

Trish Cameron fired by the Roman Catholic Church for supporting human rights

Ms. Cameron was a fifth-grade teacher at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Moorhead.  She wrote on her review that while she does not agree with all of the Roman Catholic Church’s teachings, but noted in plain English that she does not bring her personal opinions inside the classroom.  When Ms. Cameron was required to explain her written response, she replied: “I do not agree w/ all Church teachings on a personal level but I do not bring my own opinions into our religion classes. We tend to focus on respect and love for one another and living out our call as servants whenever a ‘political’ topic crops (which it rarely, if ever, does).” After her truthful answer was reviewed she was then ordered to submit her resignation.

Individual Catholics have seen their parishes dictatorially directed to ferment committees to work for passage of the antedeluviant amendment against human rights that Nienstedt, who shows full signs of mental illness, demands. The archdiocese, following the fanaticism of Nienstedt also appointed married couples to talk up marriage at Catholic high schools.

The majority of Roman Catholics in Minnesota have walked out when Nienstedt’s screeds on the LBGT community or same-sex marriage are read

Minnesota Roman Catholics for marriage equality 2012

Nienstedt is single-handedly killing the Roman Catholic Church in Minnesota as the bishops, and cardinal of Ireland killed the Church in the one nation that was, in the past, the most loyal to Rome–few Roman Catholics have any allegiance or praise for Ratzinger or for his bishops and or cardinals.

Nienstedt asked priests to recite a “marriage prayer” during mass and claims, in total ignorance of the Bible that marriage has always been between one man and one woman. There is no “marriage prayer” in any ancient text, scroll, gospel, or other writing.  Nienstedt’s stagnant stupidity on scripture defies the imagination of even those with the most marginal mental abilities, as the grotesqueness of Nienstedt’s raw rhetoric ignores facts easily found in any Bible.  As for Nienstedt’s false and obnoxious claim that the Bible defines marriage as a union between one man and one woman, is easily disproved.  For example:

Genesis 4:19 says “Lamech married two women, one named Adah and the other Zillah.” This marriage is scoffed at with the claim that Lamech was of the House of Cain.

Jacob was not of the House of Cain. He also had at least two wives: Leah (Genesis 29:17) and Rachel (Genesis 29:27). They were Jacob’s first-cousins. This is incest.

Abraham married his half-sister (Genesis 12:10-20), Sarah (Genesis 11:29-31), then “married” (had sex with) her servant Hagar (Genesis 16:1–21:21). After the death of his wife Sarah takes another wife, Keturah, who has six sons (25:1-4).

Esau, the elder twin son of Isaac and Rebekan (Genesis 25:25) married frequently. The names of Esau’s wives differ in two traditions (Genesis 26:34 and 28:9; cf. 36:2-3).

Moses had at least two wives. One was Zipporah who was Moses’ cousin: (Exodus 2:15-16 and in Exodus 18:1-6) and continued the Egyptian practice of female circumcision (Exodus 4:24-26). Moses’ second wife was the “woman of Ethiopia” (cf. Numbers 11:35-12:2).

Moses’ polygamy is matched by Elkanah. Elkanah had two wives: Hannah and Penninah (1 Samuel 1:2).

David had numerous wives. Michal was his first wife and the daughter of King Saul (I Samuel 18:20, 28). Michael was unique. She is the first Biblical woman to tell a man that she loved him (the Hebrew word is ahava but it does not mean a romantic love). Saul set a bride-price for the groom David to merit the hand and virginity (hymen) of Michal: he was required to risk his life harvesting the foreskin of 100 Philistines (a tale that is from ancient Akkadia).  David returned with the required foreskins–plus 100 extra foreskins to make a total of 200 (following the myth of Hercules as well as several leaders of ancient Egypt, Crete, and elsewhere).

David’s second wife was Ahinoam. She was the wife of King Saul and daughter of Ahimaatz (I Samuel 14:50). She was the mother of Amnon. David married her while Saul was still alive and had not divorced her. This constitutes bigamy as well as adultery.

Abigail, mother of Kileab, was the wife of Nabal (whose name denotes a fool or glutton), a wealthy landowner in the Hebron. She is praised as wise and beautiful (I Samuel 25:3) especially in contrast to her husband–a sign of a rise in misogyny and gender stratification. She was David’s third wife.

Maacah, mother of Absalom and Tamar and daughter of King Talmai of Geshur, was David’s fourth wife.  She was not very popular and David seldom had sex with her.  Maacah’s unpopularity is never truly disccused, only the dowry she brought with her before David took her hymen as a “blood offering.”

Haggith, the mother of Adonijah, was David’s next wife.  Little is written about her.  It is assumed it was a political match, and there is no record that David ever loved her or had many children by her.  She was consigned to the coldness of a royal harem.

Eglah was David’s sixth wife. She was the mother of Ithream. She, too, was discarded and sent to the harem.

David chose Abital as his seventh wife. She was the mother of Shephatiah.

David’s last wife was Bathsheba, mother of Solomon. David married her before her husband was dead. David had his friend, Uriah the Hittite, who slept at the foot his bed, killed so that he could marry Uriah’s wife (2 Samuel 11).  This is a story of lust, premeditated murder, and carnage–that Nienstedt’s absence of comment or condemnation adds these abuses of women to the Roman Catholic Church’s list of family values, in keeping with James Dobson and other sychophants of Christianity.

Bathsheba is named as the daughter of Eliam (II Samuel 11: 3).  Eliam was the son of Ahithophel who was one of David’s counselors (II Samuel 23:34).  David had sex with her despite the fact she was menstruating, which was illicit according to Jewish law (Leviticus 20:18) and carried with it the punishment of death.  Neither David nor Bathsheba were killed, indicating either that the incident occurred before the writing of Samuel, or that the story itself was a fantasy and Leviticus was of a much later date.

It is quite possible that David married his own sister. According to the Book of Chronicles David had a sister named Abigail (I Chronicles 2:16). Abigail’s husband is named Ithra (or Jether) (2 Samuel 17:26; and I Chronicles 2:17). It is possible that after Nabal’s death David’s sister ruled over Hebron. That baits the question of whether or not there were two Abigail’s – one being David’s third wife and the other being David’s sister, who most likely were sisters-in-law.  There is even a possibility that they were the same person.  All of these potentialities imply that David married his sister after the death of his rival Nabal to inherit her estates.  This is incest and suggests murder but keeping with lore of ancient Abirus in the day they were transmogrified into Hebrews but latter-day apologists.

Could David marry his sister?Yes, it was not unheard of in the ancient Middle East (cf. Levenson, Jon D. (1978) in Catholic Biblical Quarterly, p. 27).  It was common among warriors (David, actually, means “general” or “leader”), high priests and kings.

David is accused of two sins: murder and adultery. In the case of adultery death is penalty for both the man and the woman (Leviticus 20:10). It is suggested by several scholars that David had sex (marriage) with his own granddaughter (2 Samuel 15). That is incest throughout the Torah, yet David is considered a hero, parsing the mythology of David to have taken centuries before the texts were written.  David is most likely a legend and never was a man.

The story of David’s sexual prowess and interest does not stop with women.  King David also loved at least one man (Jonathan).

David’s love for Jonathan is Biblical evidence that marriage (sexual) union occurred between men, as with David and Jonathan (1 Samuel 18:1-3). In the account we read the Hebrew word ahab.  It is used to describe how Jonathan loved David. Ahab does not mean “platonic” love.  It is a word for physical union, an action common in all military societies from the Apiru mercenaries in Egypt to the soldiers of Spara.

The word ahab ccurs 208 times in the Hebrew text of the Old Testament. It is translated love in the KJV 169 times and occurs in the story of David and Solomon in 1 Samuel 16:21, 18:1, 3, 16, 20, 20:17 and II Samuel 1:26.  All indicators reveal that this love was not platonic but sexual with love: a committed union between two members of the same gender (2 Samuel 1:26).

Solomon outdid all of the men in the Old Testament for polygamous marriages–including with general, furnishing the background for the account of Muhammad wedding seven-year-old Aisha. Solomon had 700 official wives and 300 concubines (1 Kings 11:1-3).

Nowhere in the Bible is there a statement that marriage must be between one man and one woman, and there are few instances where that occurred. Polygamy is far more common.

4th century Coptic scroll states “Jesus’ [had a] wife”.

Jesus never married—except for one inclusion in a fourth-century Coptic scroll that is already in debate–at a time the Emperors of Rome were forming and formulating the Christian church.  All other “canonical” books—determined not by theologians but by Constantine and his fawning pawns known as bishops at the emperor’s Council of Nicaea—claimed that Jesus did not even have a girlfriend.  Instead a man (John, according to some, and James, according to a few others, slept on his chest: John 13:23) and was followed out of the garden one night by a naked youth (Matthew 14:51-52) before zombieswould rise from their tombs and storm Jerusalem (Matthew 27:51-53).

Rev. Grant Stevenson of Minnesota

Thousands of Minnesota Catholics angered by the church’s campaign have joined the opposition, said the Rev. Grant Stevensen, faith leader for Minnesotans United For All Families, the lead group working to defeat the amendment. Minnesotans with whom I have visited over Nienstedt state that he is not only “out of touch” with reality, but heralds back to a Dark Age when self-appointed guardians of the faith could browbeat faithful into confessing any absurdity or committing any crime in the name of religion. This proved itself when signs proclaiming “Another Catholic Voting No” sprouted on lawns of Roman Catholic family homes, and on bumper-stickers of cars owned and operated by Roman Catholics.

Rev. Grant Stevenson (L) with veteran civil rights leader Matthew Little (R)

Roman Catholics have continued to come out to support civil rights, supported by veteran civil rights leaders.  Rev. Stevenson has been in the forefront of the fight, and has been with veteran civil rights leader Matthew Little in demanding fair treatment for all in the area of jobs, education, and society–but not with the support of the Neanderthan Nienstedt of St. Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota.

William E. Lori speaking at the Catholic Center in Bridgeport, CT

U.S. bishops who have recently fought against same-sex marriage — including the well-known bigot Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone in San Francisco who has been arrested for driving drunk, a dedicated homophobe who fought all the way to the US Supreme Court to keep hidden the amounts of money paid to cover up pedophiles in his diocese and who is accused of his own sexual pecadillos and who opposes any form of birth control Archbishop William Lori in Baltimore (he has abused more restrictions of IRS code than any other prelate in the Roman Catholic Church), and Archbishop Charles Chaput (who opposes federal government health care reform, and restored a pedophile to the priesthood) in Philadelphia — won promotions afterward–and most likely will be named cardinals of the dying Roman Catholic Church. Nienstedt would be well-positioned for promotion to a larger diocese–and a cardinalate.

Rep. Steve Cook and wife Joy

Earlier this year, a Catholic priest under Nienstedt leadership hosted a mandatory assembly on “Normal Life” at a Minneapolis high school where seniors were told gay marriage is akin to bestiality (originally authored by Missouri State Rep Steve Cookson and wife Joy), and adopted children are not normal.  Many students exited to bathrooms and cried pitifully against the harsh and unfounded sentences by the trio who set themselves up as authorities–yet not a one is a trained, educated or registered psychologist or psychiatrist, and what they said is at best defined as garbage. Numerous psychological and pediatric studies have proven this charge to be a lie. A study by Goldberg, Abbie E.; Smith, JuliAnna Z.; Kashy, Deborah A. (2010). “Preadoptive factors predicting lesbian, gay, and heterosexual couples’ relationship quality across the transition to adoptive parenthood.” doi: 10.1037/a0019615 Journal of Family Psychology, Vol 24(3), Jun 2010, 221-232, shows that there is no difference in attitude, depression or exhilaration or positive outcomes between LGBT and heterosexual parents.  This is concurred with in the study Goldberg, Abbie E.; Smith, JuliAnna Z. (2010). “Perceived parenting skill across the transition to adoptive parenthood among lesbian, gay, and heterosexual couples” doi: 10.1037/a0017009.Journal of Family Psychology, Vol 23(6), Dec 2009, 861-870, although gay men were found to be more adaptable to parenting than the other subjects studied. Patterson found that there is no psychological reason to discriminate against gay parents (Patterson, Charlotte J. (2009). “Children of lesbian and gay parents: Psychology, law, and policy” doi: 10.1037/0003-066X.64.8.727. American Psychologist, Vol 64(8), Nov 2009, 727-736. Tornello, Farr, and Patterson (2011), argue that positive parenting comes with self-actualization and acceptance of by the parent of the parent’s sexuality, sexual orientation and lifestyle—and is equally valid both among heterosexual parents and gay parents (Tornello, Samantha L.; Farr, Rachel H.; Patterson, Charlotte J. (2011). “Predictors of parenting stress among gay adoptive fathers in the United States. doi: 10.1037/a0024480. Journal of Family Psychology, Vol 25(4), Aug 2011, 591-600.  Contemporary psychology, psychiatry, and pediatric psychology rejects the protestations and pronouncements of Nienstedt on the LGBT family and his hysteria against same-sex marriage.  Nienstedt’s arrogance and stupidity actually outdoes the ignorance of Juan Luis Cipriani Thorne who has debilitated, devitalized, enervated, and emasculated the Roman Catholic Church in Perú–and is one of the most vial, vitriolic and malicious ministers in South America who anticipates his election as pope to follow the German Ratzinger.

Nienstedt’s preoccupation with homosexuality and same-sex marriages indicates that Nienstedt could be homosexual and is in a state of denial. What Nienstedt and others, especially in the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church ignore is that socially constructed identities that have formed over decades and centuries may be in conflict with one another and thus lead to a persecution complex or a complex demanding persecution of what the one in power sees as social deviancy. Current psychological studies show that issues around sexual orientation were the catalyst for questioning or changing religious affiliation or beliefs (Sherry, Alissa; Adelman, Andrew; Whilde, Margaret R.; Quick, Daniel (2010). “Competing selves: Negotiating the intersection of spiritual and sexual identities”. doi: 10.1037/a0017471. Professional Psychology: Research and Practice, Vol 41(2), Apr 2010, 112-119; cp. Erikson, Kai T[heodor]. (1966). Wayward Puritans: A Study in the Sociology of Deviance. New York, NY: Wiley; cf. Erikson, Kai Theodor; De Giorgi, Alessandro [trans.] (2005). Streghe, eretici e criminali: devianza e controllo sociale nel XVII secolo. Roma: Carocci, 452 p. in Italian; it is available in German under the title Die widerspenstigen Puritaner: zur Soziologie abweichenden Verhaltens, Wolfgang Krege; Stuttgart, Deutschland: Klett-Cotta, 1978; Erikson’s classic work has been used as the focal point in two Norwegian works: Helgesen, Janne Henriette Ingarsdottir (1996), Drøft ulike teorier om kriminalisering og straff med utgangspunkt i Rusche og Kirchheimers “Punishment and social structure” og Kai Eriksons “Wayward Puritans”. Oslo, Norway: [J.H.I. Helgensen; written at the Universitetet I Oslo, 2001], and also Scheel, Bente Hagesæther (1996), with the same title, also written at the Universitetet I Oslo, and self-published being 3 bl smaller).  The essays of Ingarsdottir and Hagesæther give ample cause to suspect that Nienstedt is seeking personal recognition and possible promotion within the Roman Catholic hierarchy by following rigidly the command of Josef Ratzinger who wants to root out the LGBT lifestyle.

Nienstedt quickly banned freedom of speech on any LGBT issue in any Roman Catholic school, in defiance of the First Amendment that Mr. Nienstedt claims goes against Roman Catholic Church canons, claiming that is what “good” people of Minnesota do, and those who do not agree with his stand intimates that they are “bad” people in Minnesota. This is approximating treason as in a free society all people have the right to criticize, denounce, call-out and argue with anyone, as there is not a single person on this planet who is infallible in anything and all opinions are subject to debate.  While there is no single strong person to speak out and demand Nienstedt’s trial and call for his expulsion from the USA, those who call for his execution are neither judge nor jury.  The faithful can pray for the death of Nienstedt and the Roman Catholic clergy soiling the earth of Minnesota, but they cannot go further unless they take the option of open revolution as occurred in 1789 in France when the populace overthrew its Roman Catholic leaders and closed its churches.

DeLaSalle school where fantasy is taught as fact

One DeLaSalle school student held up a poster that proclaimed he loved his two moms. DeLaSalle senior Matt Bliss noted: “You could look around the room and feel the anger.” Bliss said, “My friend who is a lesbian started crying, and people were crying in the bathroom.”  The students were quick to post on the Internet their strong feelings against the priest and his message and his co-messengers.  Uniformly, the students were wiser than the adults or faculty or church, and quickly rejected the absurdity they heard that homosexuality was equivalent of beastiality. The Roman Catholic Church was rightfully under seige.  As the Milan cardinal Martini predicted, the Roman Catholic Church is at the edge of collapse, Nienstedt will push it over the line as there has been no good popes since John XXIII, and the corrupt curia is saturated with graft.

The hypocrisy of the Roman Catholic Church cannot be understated. Pope Benedict XVI is among the greatest monsters. He covered up the molestation of 200 deaf orphans in Wisconsin (read here and here).  He openly jockeyed to succeed the Polish pope Karol Józef Wojtyła who used his illness to quest of sympathy, but showed neither compassion to victims of rape nor to the men and women with HIV and AIDS by rejecting condoms as a way to stop the prevention of the equal opportunity virus.  His extremism was represented in the US Senate byRick Santorum and in the American Council of Roman Catholic Bishops, but rejected by a growing percentage of Roman Catholics people (47% – 54% of all Roman Catholics surveyed in the USA accept abortion in all cases; read here and here).  John Paul II, among the worse popes in modern history, lied when he claimed that the Roman Catholic Church always stood against abortions.

Roman Catholic support for abortion and stem-cell research

Cardinal Timothy Dolan, the a Republican National Convention speaker), paid cash to pedophiles and rapist priests so they could escape justice.  He called these payments “act(s) of charity” (read here and here).  Dolan, like Romney, was involved in moving various amounts of money into different “trusts” that would bankrupt later recipients.

Father Benedict Groeschel, a holder of a Ph.D. in psychology, claimed little children seduced priests into having sex.

Father Benedict Groeschel, of the Conservative Franciscan Friars recently said that oftentimes children are the seducers of pedophiles and claimed himself to be a psychologist (he does have a Ph.D. from Columbia University but rejects any psychological study that goes contrary to what he has determined to be “[g]od’s word) who  has shown numerous signs of acute mental illness. His concept of psychology is a pathway to religion and god, lacking all objectivity and never open to peer review ( read: “Anger at Play on Gay Christ,” New York Daily News, 23 September, 1998).  Groeschel called Jerry Sandusky that “poor guy“, and argues that children who are attacked by pedophiles are asking for the sexual confrontation (read here and here) and has argued that priests were “entrapped” by children into sex.  He will not be punished or reprimanded by the Pope or the Catholic Church. He was defended by Bill Donohue founder and main member of the “Catholic League”.

Nuns on Bus: champion aid for poor and hungry, condemned by Benedict XVI

Nuns on a bus:  While leading a nationwide tour to highlight child poverty in the United States the pope condemned them for not focusing on anti-gay marriage efforts and threatened to throw them out of the church (read here and read here). They were attacked by the Tea Party and Republican Party for “speaking ill of Paul Ryan” who they claimed has no “Catholic values”.

Edmund A. Walsh, S.J. wanted USA a theocracy

The hate-sewers slurry with John Nienstedt and together work with the German pope that will extinguish the torch of learning, darken the cellar of knowledge and restore a final era of hatred almost as great as that lisped by the Tea Party. Nienstedt is the equal to Joe McCarthy’s Jesuit priest Edmund A. Walsh and the Koch family who sustained the first attack on American freedom and the Constitution. Walsh and Nienstedt have been intent on transmogrifying the USA into a theocracy that the Roman Catholic Church would rule as it controlled Franco’s Spain, Pinochet’s Chile, Fujimori’s Peru, and other nations where dissent was not allowed and education rigidly ruled highlighting the lies of the Roman Catholich Church. What all have in common is the signet ring of hate.

When all else is seen as failing, Nienstedt and the American Council of Roman Catholic Bishops bring out the conservative bully club and argue that under Obama the economy in the USA tanked.  It, too, is a lie.

USA government debt under last five presidents

The ruse is used by the American Council of Roman Catholic Bishops to hide their racism as many bishops in US history were members of the KKK and Roman Catholic bishops and cardinals supported Hitler in Europe in the days of the Third Reich (cf. Preston, Paul (2006). The Spanish Civil War. New York, NY: Harper Perennial, p. 222 sq).  Lutheran and Roman Catholic

Roman Catholic bishops and Adolf Hitler

Bishops and Roman Catholic cardinals flocked to Hitler.  Today their choice, following that of prevaricators such as Billy Graham and Daniel Jenkey, goose-step toward the Romney camp.

At the same time Roman Catholic bishops in the USA have compared Obama to Hitler and claim that they have facts others do not possess (read here and herefor Peoria Bishop Daniel Jenky, a

Peoria bishop Daniel Jenky

dissimulator who opposes universal health care, and here exposing the ignorance of the bishops who do not admit that the Obama administration specifically exempted religious groups such as the Roman Catholic Church from being required to provide forms of birth contraception).  Jenky has a long history of maligning people, and has won little affection from his community or congregation–his outbursts taken light-heartedly, his demeanor overlooked.

Ronald Reagan on church and state

No man who has reached the office of President of the USA has agreed to a union of the state with any religion.  Thomas Jefferson wrote to the Baptist congregation at Dansbury, Connecticut promising a strong wall separating church and state, following similar sentiments sounded by George Washington and others in the Continental Congress. Roman Catholics were strongly disliked with a reason in the nineteenth century given their close ties to the Vatican and its incumbant sovereign who demanded treatment as a ruler of a city (Vatican City) and a religion, and under Pius IX (who proclaimed himself to possess near-god-like qualities: being infallible, primary, and supreme; Ratzinger claimed that John Paul II spoke “infallibly” when the Polish pope proclaimed that a woman could [sic; they were in the ancient church, as I develop in my  book: Woman as Priest, Bishop and Laity] never be ordained), citizens of the USA had serious concerns and did not vote for a Roman Catholic until John F. Kennedy vowed in Houston, Texas, that he would never be controlled by the Roman Catholic Pope.  Even Ronald Reagan, the hero of the conservative movement, refused to accept any church’s interference in the government of the state–although he willingly took Roman Catholic votes to help him win the White House–and then, like most politicians, ignored the American Council of Roman Catholic Bishops.

Viki Knox: a Study of Ignorance and Hatred

By definition from its first English appearance in 1250 CE, a teacher is an individual who instructs by seeking out knowledge that known or not imparted.  It is the individual who leads in a course of study to learn that which is not only known but not yet known. A teacher is a subject-matter expert in the continuous pursuit of inquiry to test and evaluate, re-test and re-evaluate all things in quest of what is–not what one wishes there to be in existence.  Just because for more than three thousand years people thought that the water planet was fixed and the sun orbited around the Earth (geocentric Ptolemaic system that achieved its full expression in the second century), it was a teacher, a searcher after knowledge, and a sage, the Catholic monk Nicolaus Copernicus who rejected the memorized thesis and advanced heliocentricism (from the Greek ἥλιος or helios “sun” and κέντρον or kentron “center”).  Viki Knox, it appears, prefers a marriage to the discredited past.

New Jersey Teacher Viki Knox

Viki Knox, a 49-year-old teacher at Union High School in Union Township, New Jersey, is the antithesis of a teacher.  Sadly, she teaches special education, but ignores that the prerequisite for a teacher is to present information that can be scientifically investigated and not rely on fantasy or mythology unless it is used in a course in literature.  No teacher has the right to interject her or his religious beliefs in any classroom without full tolerance of divergent and differing opinions.

Viki Knox Facebook page

A poster in Facebook, as noted in the New York Times, Knox wrote that while she had friends and loved ones who were gay, she believed that the way they lived was “against the nature and character of God” and that the high school was “not the setting to promote, encourage, support and foster homosexuality.”

LGBT display that caused outrage by Viki Knox

Knox posted on Facebook a photo of a school display recognizing October as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender History month. It included photos of Virginia Woolf, Harvey Milk and Neil Patrick Harris.

According to the Star-Ledger Knox declared, furthermore, that homosexuality is “a perverted spirit that has existed from the beginning of creation,” and a “sin” that “breeds like cancer.”  What was generated by Knox was the cancer of hate that now fills entries on Facebook in the Garden State and throughout the nation.

Viki Knox’s full text is here, including bad grammar (I note only the worst parts of her incorrect use of the English language):

“Homosexuality is a perverted spirit [sic] that has existed from the beginning of creation. The word of God refers to it often. That’s if you believe the Word to be truly God’s intended blueprint for his people.  I have friends and loved ones who are practicing/ living as homosexuals. Yes[,] I love [and] can care about them. We hug and exchange gifts. We have family dinners. But [sic: it is incorrect to begin any sentence with a conjunction] how they live and their actions, behaviors [sic] -CHOICES are against the nature and character of God! Do I [sic] tell me so? Yes, of course. Do I treat them bad? If course not! Jesus never did that to ANYONE he meant [sic]. He spoke to them of their situation and offered them life eternal. He didn’t say it was okay[,] but we’ve all sinned and come [sic: tense agreement] short if [it is] God’s will for us[,] daily. That’s why we Christians [who are] true followers pray, repent, and spend time with Christ daily. The Word of God instructs us to die daily to our flesh-meaning our will. What we want; what feels good to us; what we like; what we can rationalize and justify [run-on fragment]. I do not pretend to know ALL things. Nor [sic] do I pretend not to have biases, failings and faults. But I know sin and it breeds like cancer!”

The local newspaper responded, in an editorial, noting:

She might as well have hopped on a soapbox across the street from the school and screamed her anti-gay rant into a bullhorn. Or [sic] stapled posters to telephone poles around town.

While we all should be allowed an inner circle with whom we can speak freely, Knox gave up those protections when she posted her comments on the most public forum there is — the internet. She created a fearful, hostile environment for students. That’s unacceptable.

Knox has the right to a hateful view, but once her beliefs are made public, she doesn’t have the right to a taxpayer-funded, $70,688-a-year job in which she is expected to treat all students equally and with respect. She should absorb the harshest action possible, suspension or firing.

The problem is not with Ms. Knox’s freedom of speech, when it was in a classroom or the private homes of others, but when she made it public by ranting on Facebook–which is accessible by any member or others who have access through friends with accounts on Facebook.  Ms. Knox’s poor judgment goes further, however, for she wrote copiously about various perceived infractions without any documentation.  For example, Knox wrote about her relationship with her colleagues and her employer.  She openly admitted that she was “pitching a fit.” Her poor writing makes some of her comments difficult to parse, but she at one points seems to accuse colleagues of “talking behind backs, calling names, laughing in faces and stabbing in backs.” She appears to suggest that past faculty and administrators were openly racist. Perhaps worst of all, she wrote that “lesbian gym teachers introduce and experiment with female students/athletes.”  These sorts of remarks may well provide grounds for discipline at the school and in a civil court as being libel.

Viki Knox’s lack of sensitivity that is essential in a teacher, especially of young people, was non-existent at one point.  It has been reported by Scott Weingart, that “Viki Knox spouted her bigoted and ignorant ideas in the classroom and violated a student’s First Amendment rights by ordering a student who wore a rainbow bracelet to leave the classroom.”  There was no harm done by wearing the bracelet–it only signified solidarity with a specific group. It could have been worn by a supporter of LGBT rights; the adornment used was not a statement of being heterosexual or homosexual, and there is no reference to the individual wearing it being LGBT.

There is no tangible proof nor observation by any student that the school was “setting to promote, encourage, support and foster homosexuality.”  The school was only recognizing the existence of the LGBT community and allowed posters to display diversity.  As for homosexuality being “against the nature and character of God”, there is no proof in any Bible, Torah, Vesta, or other holy book that any deity was against homosexuality (cf. Conner, Randy P.; Sparks, David Hatfield and Sparks, Mariya (1998). Cassell’s Encyclopedia of Queer Myth, Symbol and Spirit. London, UK: Cassell), although most volumes portray the god(s) as being sexual: heterosexual, bisexual, and even homosexual (especially in ancient Greece and the ancient Near East) as with Zeus and Ganymede (Γανυμήδης, the word translates as “rejoicing in virility” and is Etruscan in origin; ref. Homer, Iliad, 5.265ff), or in ancient Egypt with Seth and Horus (Plutarch, De Iside et Osiride).

Ms. Knox is not a trained nor registered psychologist and has given no evidence of education in human character appraisal. Psychologists and psychiatrists agree that homosexuality is natural and normal in all species. It is also nature’s perfect method of natural birth control.

To argue that homosexuality is against the character of God implies that God has the psychology of a heterosexual and thus must have mortal attributes: a penis, scrotum, anus, breath, muscle, and so forth–which is taking a quite liberal literal interpretation of ancient Hebrew scripture. This is taking biblical literalism to new heights where the deities of the bible sit on clouds on thrones that defy the laws of gravity (Psalm 46:8, cp. 110:1) or will ride horses out of the heavens to conduct war with swords (Revelation 19:11) as Jesus came to earth to bring a sword and wage war, separating families and friends (Matthew 10:34).

Tyler Clementi committed suicide at Rutgers U

To introduce her comments for public consumption lessens her effectiveness as a teacher.  The State of New Jersey has a strong anti-discrimination statute, a law that Viki Knox defied.  By promoting hatred in a public place, Ms. Knox forfeited her right to freedom of speech, and on that charge could be, and in my opinion, should be dismissed from public teaching.  I am confident she would be far more comfortable teaching in a parochial school that shares her own biases and bigotry.  Knox’s comments are tantamount to bullying, and New Jersey has one of the strongest anti-bullying laws on record in the USA, adopted last spring in the wake of the suicide of Tyler Clementi, a Rutgers student who killed himself after learning he had been watched, via webcam, kissing another man.

As I wrote in previous blogs, bullying leads to more suicides than most other reasons, as seen with the bullying of Phoebe Prince, age 15, in Massachusetts, and Jamey Rodemeyer in New York.  If a suicide (singular or plural) should result because of her ill-chosen words that were not open to rejoinders, she should be considered an accessory to that person’s death.

Ms. Knox, by 2010, had 12 years of experience in the district and earned $72,109 in that year. In addition to teaching courses in special education, the New York Times reported on October 13, 2011 (published on October 14, 2011, on page A28), that some residents and parents said that she also advised a student prayer group, an evangelical extremist group known as The Seekers Fellowship.  In her Facebook profile, Ms. Knox considers herself more than a teacher; she sees herself also as a preacher–and her gospel alone has value.

The only positive incident was that Ms. Knox was escorted off of the campus. She is under investigation.

Dakota Ary, Kristopher Franks, Fort Worth TX Independent School District, and freedom

Dakota Ary (age 14) of Fort Worth TX denounced German teacher he assumed is gay

Kristopher Franks, a German teacher with a long and distinguished service record at Western Hills High School, was investigated by FWISD [Ft. Worth Independent School District] administrators for writing a disciplinary referral against Dakota Ary.  Ary is a student whom Franks reported publicly harassed him in class on the basis of the student’s perception that Mr. Franks is gay. Regardless if Mr. Frank is or is not gay is not the issue. The issue, Ary claims, is the First Amendment of the US Constitution.  Mr. Ary styles him a specialist on First Amendment rights, and argues that the First Amendment of the US Constitution specifically allows him “freedom of religion” to cast aspersions on those who do not share his fundamentalist ideas.

Ary based his verbal assaults at West Hills High School in Fort Worth, Texas, and ultimate initiation of legal action based upon biblical biases found in his Bible even though they were generated by mistranslations and erroneous interpretations.   Ary’s onslaught of evangelical extremism acerbated the situation into a slurry of vituperative traducements against the teacher.  This can be read in this account, it reads, in short: “that Mr. Franks maintains a “word wall” for his German IV class. On this “word wall”, the teacher, Mr. Franks, posts articles and images from several journals, including the German

magazine, Stern. One of these articles concerned

Two men kissing: from movie "Last Secret" (one teenager commits suicide)

gay rights in Germany, and included a photo of two men kissing. The group of four boys concerned was sitting near this image immediately before Mr. Franks found it had been ripped from the wall”. On one particular day, according to all news reports, Ary declared, with a class audience, ‘Gays can’t be Christians; homosexuality is wrong,’ looking directly at Mr. Franks.” Ary’s knows scant little of Church history, martyrology, or the communities of the ancient christianos or chrestianos and nothing of the Vita Constantini.

Ary’s ignorance is overwhelming.  There is no condemnation of homosexuality in the early Christian community before  the Council of Ancyra (314, and it was not a council of all bishops–there were only a dozen who attended–and was called to deal with certain “apostacies”): Canon 16.  The Council of Ancyra was called soon after the death of the Emperor Maximin, to be held in the capital of Galatia.

Council of Nicaea (325 CE) with first reference to Acts 8:37

Three was no official church until the Emperor Constantine created his catholic (universal) church at the Council of Nicaea (in Turkey) in 325 CE (Eusebius, Vita Constantini. Winkelmann, F, ed (1975) (text in Greek). Berlin, Germany [DE]: Akademie-Verlag.  Eusebius  was the church historian at that time, appointed by the emperor.  The Arian bishop states without equivocation: “σύνοδον οἰκουμενικὴν  συνεκρότει” (he [the emperor]  convoked an Ecumenical Council).  While there were, it was assumed, 1800 bishops, Eusebius write that only 220 attended (Eusebius, Vita Constantini III.9), so the council was not representative, definitely partisan, and did speak for the entire Christiam community. Athanasius of Alexandria counted 318 (Ad Afros Epistola Synodica 2), and Eustathius of Antioch counted 270 (Theodoret Historia Ecclesia 1.7), and it is written that all three were present at the council. Eusebius was not alone is testifying that the “Christian Church” was an imperial idea and creation; this is also the affirmation of Athanasius’ Ad Afros Epistola Synodica in 369; and the Letter in 382 to Pope Damasus I and the Latin bishops from the First Council of Constantinople (Schaff, Philip; Wace, Henry, eds. (1890), The Seven Ecumenical Councils, Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers: Second Series, 14, The Seven Ecumenical Councils, Grand Rapids, Michigan, U.S.A.: Eerdmans Pub Co., pp. 292-294).

Ary’s audacity is a tragedy, and his lack of sensibility inhumane. He fashioned fantasy from illiteracy and cast aspersions as vipers throughout the classroom.

Martin Luther's Bible (1534) in private library of Dr. Arthur Ide

What troubles me the most is that Dakota Ary of FWISD has zero knowledge of scripture in any reliable, verifiable or recognized format.  It is obvious that he is using scripture scurrilously, and all is current, for mediocre translations gave way to extraordinarily bad or corrupt mistranslations after 1946. It is even more apparent that Ary has had no formal training and has been drugged by a prokaryotic pastor.  Ary is articulating his personal misinterpretation of Leviticus 18:22, that has little comparative value before 2000 CE. The New International Version (©1984) reads: “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.” The English Standard

Martin Luther's 1534 Bible frontispiece (colorized) in private library of Dr. Arthur Ide

Version (© 2001) reads: “You shall not lie with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination. The New American Standard Bible reads: “You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.” God’s Word® (© 1995) reads, “Never have sexual intercourse with a man as with a woman, It is disgusting. The King James Bible (sixteenth century), read: “Thous halt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”  The American King James Version is printed: “You shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination.” The American Standard Version: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.  In each case as with indicate a misdirection of intent or wrongful fantasy–it is not the action but a state of mind.  What Ary does not seem to know is that the word “homosexuality” does not appear in any until 2007 when it is used, in error, in the New Living Translation that is trying to be, falsely, contemporary.  The word “homosexuality” does not appear in any lexicon before 1892, and then it is used in a psychological treatise–not a theological translation or exegesis.

The Hebrew reads, which Ary does not read: וְאֶת־זָכָר לֹא תִשְׁכַּב מִשְׁכְּבֵי אִשָּׁה תֹּועֵבָה הִוא׃. Ary is allegedly studying German.  Ary might find it beneficial to read the verse in German; for example, in Martin Luther’s version of the Bible, it is printed: Du sollst nicht beim Knaben liegen wie beim Weibe; denn es ist ein Greuel. The word “homosexuality” in German is Homosexualität.  The word is not in Martin Luther’s Bible (I am using a 1912 edition, and have compared it thoroughly to my personal copies of the original 1534 and a later 1541 edition. I fail to find the word Homosexualität in any of them). Ary’s crass comment codified in his German class is not only fraudulent but baiting, badgering, and bullying.  It shows that Dakota Ary is not a student but a proselytizer in a public building where proselytization (ergo: προσηλύτση) is not traditionally welcomed and infringes upon the religious freedom of others to believe (or not to believe) as they wish.

All schools are established as learning centers.  The purpose of education is to seek out new knowledge, investigate old knowledge, prove or disprove any theory, and to conscientiously conduct of inquiry to understand what are facts and to repeatedly test those facts to see if they change or do not change.  There is nothing infallible or permanent, not even a god or a book.

Ary’s protestations are a prostitution of the academic process.  Dakota’s draconian grandstanding in Mr. Franks’ class was a yoke dragging the Fort Worth Independent School District deeper down into the abysmal depths of basement-valued education that is more common among poorly rated institutions such as Bob Jones University, Regent University and others that lack any sound academic credibility. Ary and his pseudo-intellectuality brings disgrace upon FWISD.  FWISD was established as a public institution to seek out wisdom, and find it allowing the individual learner to be free of mythologies and bad science.  FWISD was not established as a seminary, nor as a rogue monastery where learning is prostituted to biblical literalism and blind memorization.

Since Mr. Ary used the Bible as his source for a hate speech, that hate speech must be addressed using the same book that Ary has canonized, sanctified, stratified, stagnated as the sola fedi of his religiosity.  None of the Bible commentaries uses the word “homosexual”.  All commonly known and accepted Bible commentaries argue that the prohibition is against foreign worship practice where there was especially sex between men and goats (Herodotus, Historia 2.46; Strabo, Geographia 17, p. 802; Aelian, De natura animalium Vii.19, while according to Sonnini, Charles-Sigisbert, Voyage dans la haute et basse Égypte, fait par ordre de l’ancien gouvernement, et contenant des observations de tous genres R. 11, p. 330, referenced it as having sex with female crocodiles.

Leviticus written around snake-god worship popular in Egypt

Ary’s total lack of familiarity with the Bible in the original is even more stark in reference to Romans 1:27 (a plagiarism of Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13).  It has no similar reference, for again it is a reference of against pretending what is, is not or something else, for the actual scripture reads: How well Ary is performing in his German class with the expertise of Mr. Frank has not been made public, but I will offer Dakota Martin Luther’s bad German translation.

A Christian response?

I find it impossible to consider Dakota Ary as a Christian. Martin Luther’s translation alone would prove Dakota Ary is no Christian: Richtet nicht, auf daß ihr nicht gerichtet werdet where it is alleged that Jesus declared in Aramaic: ܠܐ ܬܕܘܢܘܢ ܕܠܐ ܬܬܕܝܢܘܢ; cp. Μὴ κρίνετε, ἵνα μὴ κριθῆτε but closer to Մի՛ դատէք, որպէսզի չդատուիք in referring to Matthew 7:1.

Dakota Ary’s vengeful god of condemnation is no where in the Bible, as noted: Ἀνοίξας δὲ Πέτρος τὸ στόμα εἶπεν• ἐπ’ ἀληθείας καταλαμβάνομαι ὅτι οὖκ  ἔστιν προσωπολήμπτης ὁ θεός that in contemporary German reads: Petrus aber tat seinen Mund auf und sprach: Nun erfahr ich mit der Wahrheit, daß Gott die Person nicht ansieht; sondern in allerlei Volk, wer ihn fürchtet und recht tut, der ist ihm angenehm. (Acts 10:34, the German includes verse 35; for the language that Jesus allegedly spoke, Aramaic, it would be:  ܦܬܚ ܕܝܢ ܫܡܥܘܢ ܦܘܡܗ ܘܐܡܪ ܒܫܪܪܐ ܐܕܪܟܬ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܢܤܒ ܒܐܦܐ; the passage parallels Deuteronomy 1:7 and 10:17 indicating a heavy borrowing by the redactors). No logical, rational, educated, thinking person would ever consider Dakota Ary a Christian much less alone a righteous person.

People destroy what they are afraid of but want (Sigmund Freud)

Dakota Ary and his disciples act of vandalism is a crime in every state in the USA and is recognized as a crime in most nations. Texas Penal Code 9.42 stipulates deadly force can be used if it is “immediately necessary” in preventing an intruder from fleeing the property in the commission of a crime or thereafter. Texas property owners are regulated by “reasonable belief” that there is no other way available to protect the property and its assets or escape great bodily injury or death, except by way of deadly force.  The willful destruction of property, any property, is an offense by Texas law. It should be punished to the full extent of the law.  The removal and destruction of property, albeit a minor infraction, is prosecutable and would be on the vandal’s records for others to see.

Sigmund Freud

Ary and his congregation argue that they were exercising freedom of religion, but there is no statute of law that permits any religion to steal and/or destroy private property.  Dakota and his friends should be tried for theft, destruction of property, and limiting, abridging and denying Franks full freedom of speech and expression.  The reason that this has not happened is because Franks and the school administrators and board must determine that, at minimum, Ary and his team are either mentally unstable because of their irrational homophobia that expresses itself in a violent manner, or that they have basic reasoning ability but are sadistic and seek to alienate and possibly harm another or others that is an overt act of terrorism (ref. Martin, J. (2006). Self research in educational psychology: A cautionary tale of positive psychology in action. Journal of Psychology, 140(4), 307).  Such destructive actions can be traced back to the abusers earlier years, and relationships with parents that experienced similar abusive situations (Thompson AE (1996). Kaplan CA, USA. “Childhood emotional abuse.” British Journal of Psychiatry. 1996 Feb;168(2):143-8).  This is especially true when there is either a strong patriarchal or matriarchal family, and the head of that unit is verbally, physically, sexually, or religiously abusive, the latter being found most frequently in evangelical fundamentalist homes (Straus, Murray A. and Carolyn J. Field (2003). “Psychological Aggression by American Parents: National Data on Prevalence, Chronicity, and Severity.” Journal of Marriage and Family 65 (November 2003): 795–808).

There is evidence, found in numerous researches and case studies, that such actions as homophobia is but a mask or covering or latent homosexuality in the individual or individuals who act aggressively against those they fear are homosexual.  Sigmund Freud and many psychologists and psychiatrists see homophobia as a condition suppress the innate homophobia within males and females who are terrified that they are actually homosexuals (Henry E. Adams, Ph.D., Lester W. Wright, Jr., Ph.D. and Bethany A. Lohr, University of Georgia (Athens), Department of Psychology. “Is Homophobia Associated With Homosexual Arousal?” Journal of Abnormal Psychology, Vol. 105, No. 3, pp 440-445) as may be the case with Ary.

People who are comfortable with their own sexual identity do not waste time worrying about the sexual orientation of others nor are they uncomfortable when around others who do not share their sexual interest.  The reverse of this can be seen in the police records when Michele Bachmann telephoned for help from the police, speaking sporadically and in terrified of being in a public bathroom with two lesbians.  What Congresswoman Bachmann exhibited is commonly known as “homosexual panic”, and it is a mental disorder.  Today “homosexual panic” is called “Kempf’s disease”.  It is a term first coined by psychiatrist Edward J. Kempf  in 1920 (see: Kempf, Edward J. (1920). Psychopathology. St. Louis, MO, USA: C. V. Mosby Company).  The disease is commonly found in people who suffer schizoid personality disorders who have insulated themselves from physical intimacy (read: Kaplan, H.I. et al. ed. (1980), Comprehensive textbook of psychiatry, third edition Williams and Wilkins, Baltimore – London, and Chuang, H.T. and Addington, D. (1988), “Homosexual Panic: a Review of its Concept,” in Canadian Journal of Psychiatry October (7):613-617).  Michele’s husband (Marcus) has a similar aversion.

Marcus and Michele Bachmann campaigning for the presidency in 2011

Marcus Bachmann is deeply involved with “reparative” psychology to “cure” homosexuality.  “Reparative psychology” has been dismissed by the American Psychological and American Psychiatric Association as constituting fraud. Michele Bachmann’s strategist-husband called gays ‘barbarians’ who ‘need to be disciplined, which is rejected by all psychological groups as bordering on sadistic control. The Bachmann’s over-concern about homosexuality, like that trumpeted against by Ayr, came out quickly when Marcus’ wife decided to run to head the Republican ticket.  As the Andrew Malcolm of the Los Angeles Times reported on June 30, 2011, Marcus  “apparently believes that the Christian commandment to “love your neighbor as you would yourself” will only lead to more people deciding to be gay.  Who did Mr. Bachmann blame? Public schools.  Marcus is quoted as saying: ‘And [sic] let’s face it: What is our culture, what is our public education system doing today? They are giving full, wide-open doors to children, not only giving encouragement to think it but to encourage action steps. That’s why when we understand what truly is the percentage of homosexuals in this country, it is small. But by these open doors, I can see and we are experiencing, that it is starting to increase,’ Marcus Bachmann said.”

‘The same is true for Rick Santorum’s initial bid for the US Presidency that was denounced and written about by many psychiatrists in 2003. Homophobia precedes, in many cases, to genocide as occurred with the Norwegian Christian terrorist Anders Behring Breivik who systematically killed seventy-seven people and wounded scores more on 22 July 2011.  Before the mass assassinations, Breivik began his apocalypse with the bombing of government buildings in Oslo that resulted in eight deaths.  After that carnage, Breivik initiated his mass shooting with an automatic weapon that was loaded with bullets that exploded inside the bodies of his victims.  His victims were chosen as they did not meet his Nazi-styled version of what was a true Scandinavian as he resented multicultural pluralism.

Anders Behring Breivik (age 32) Christian terrorist and mass murderer (2011)

Breivik claimed that his victims were not true Christians nor did he see any of the youth as living what he termed as the Christian lifestyle.  Like Ary, Breivik was terrified of homosexuality, and so the day before he began his murder spree, he hired two prostitutes, and then heated up his holocaust at a camp for the Workers’ Youth League (AUF) of the Labour Party on the island of Utøya killing 69 people, mostly teenagers. Breivik has links to the USA Tea Party’s Pamela Geller and numerous evangelical extremist groups that preached the message parroted by Ary.

A bully has low self-esteem

One notable similarity stands out.  Breivik and Ary are both bullies: ridiculing those whom they see as different while ignoring their own inferiority complexes and dismal record in life.

Most of his purchases and financial problems was because of his desperate effort to stockpile weapons (he made his first million kroner, but lost it and argued his loss was a Jewish-Muslim conspiracy, and began to prepare for a holy war as his part of the evangelical extremist Christian fundamentalist pogrom with which he identified personally as a movement that he continues to claim, like Ary, gives him the “religious freedom” to speak out or do anything to avenge his god and guarantee that his god will be triumphant.

Breivik murdered those he felt were "liberal", "multicultural" and not "Bible Christians"

While Breivik admits he murdered innocent people, he has repeatedly attempted to justify his crime claiming he was defending western civilization–a

Francesco Speroni (Italian xenophobe)

claim hailed by many members of the far right, even in Italy where Francesco Speroni, a leading member of the Northern League, the junior partner in Berlusconi’s conservative coalition, said: “Breivik’s ideas are in defence of western civilisation”, and in the USA, in the same way that Ary justifies his criminal actions against Mr. Frank, professional psychologists do not concur (Gellately, Robert and Kiernan, Ben (2003). The Specter of Genocide: Mass Murder in historical Perspective, Cambridge, UK: Cambridge University Press; read: du Preez, Peter (1994). Genocide: the Psychology of Mass Murder. London, UK: Boyars/Bowerdean, here). Dakota Ary is guilty of is the crime of hate speech. In law, hate speech is any speech, gesture or conduct, writing, or display that is forbidden because it has the ability to incite violence or prejudicial action against or by a protected individual or group, or it disparages or intimidates a protected individual or group.

Bullies scar physically and mentally, leading to suicides

The law identifies hate speech when it goes deliberately against a protected individual or a protected group by race, ethnicity, gender or gender identity, nationality, religion, sex or sexual orientation, gender identity, or other characteristic, according to the United Nations committee on human rights (International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, Article 20). Hate speech, for example, is a form of verbal aggression that expresses hatred, contempt, ridicule, or threats toward a specific group or class of people (Allport, Gordon W. (1954). The Nature of Prejudice. Cambridge, MA, USA: Addison-Wesley Pub. Co.) with religion being a cornerstone of prejudice, hate, and crimes of violence (Allport, Gordon W. (1950, 1954). The Individual and his Religion: A Psychological Interpretation. New York, NY, USA: Macmillan, 1954, ©1950.; ref. Allport, Gordon W. (1950) with Harvard University Department of Psychology (1954?). ABCs of Scapegoating. [New York, Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith]).

Ary and his posse sincomitatis pose a significant health and safety hazard not only to the teacher but to other students in the building and community, as seen in numerous similar test situations in psychology and psychiatry (Lederer, Laura and Delgado, Richard (1995). The Price we Pay: the Case against Racist Speech, Hate Propaganda, and Pornography. New York : Hill and Wang). Unlike the rest of the civilized First World of Nations, the USA does not specifically outlaw hate speech except Under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, employers may sometimes be prosecuted for tolerating “hate speech” by their employees, if that speech contributes to a broader pattern of harassment resulting in a “hostile or offensive working environment” for other employees—a situation that the Fort Worth Independent School District’s Board of Education and Administrators found themselves deeply buried beneath the slurry from Ary’s comments (cf. Meritor Savings Bank v. Vinson (477 US 457; No. 84-1979; decided June 19, 1986).

More of Breivik's victims (2011)

Why the Fort Worth Independent School District’s Board of Education and Administrators fail to, or deliberately chose to, ignore this important aspect is incomprehensible. To cave in to the demands of Dakota Ary and his mother will lead to additional attacks on teachers and students, and can create a situation worse than that experienced Norway’s Christian fundamentalist mass-murderer Anders Behring Breivik, while in the USA there have been

Dr. George Tiller martyred for a woman's right of choice

approximately 894,000 murders by Christians since 1960, including the assassination of Dr. George Tiller who was murdered in cold-blood while serving in his church, while Swami Lakshmanananda Saraswati, who had been articulate in rejecting forced conversions to Christianity that his people were subjected to enduring, was targeted by several evangelical Christian groups and murdered in August 2008 in the Orissa state of India, being killed with four other people including one boy and a woman. The student and his lawyer are now asserting that including this photo among the others constituted his teacher’s “imposing acceptance of homosexuality” in his classroom—the same tactic that Nazi Germany took with teachers and pastors who defended LGBT rights (Giles, Geoffrey J., “The Denial of Homosexuality: Same-Sex Incidents in Himmler’s SS”, Journal of the History of Sexuality, Vol. 11, No. 1/2, Special Issue: Sexuality and German Fascism (January – April, 2002), pp. 256–290). These students subsequently took every opportunity to denounce homosexuality in class, frequently without context; that is, with the topic having otherwise been broached.

Charles Schenck

Free speech works for all people, not just for Mr. Franks nor for Mr. Ary. The only limit, according to Schenck v. United States, 249 U.S. 47 (1919), a United States Supreme Court decision that upheld the Espionage Act of 1917 and concluded that a defendant did not have a First Amendment right to freedom of speech against the draft during World War I revolves around the word “danger”. The posting of a photograph or an invitation for communication of an incident in the conduct of inquiry and the pursuit of knowledge is enviable and should be encouraged. In this case one can learn from the opinion’s most famous passage, which Justice Holmes succinctly set out the “clear and present danger” test: The

Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes

most stringent protection of free speech would not protect a man in falsely shouting fire in a theatre and causing a panic. […] The question in every case is whether the words used are used in such circumstances and are of such a nature as to create a clear and present danger that they will bring about the substantive evils that Congress has a right to prevent.

Advocacy of an opinion does not constitute a clear and present danger, nor do comments like Mr. Ary’s note any reality that creates any threat; there is no preamble or other indication that Mr. Franks was inciting imminent lawless action (clarifying the Schenck decision in 1969 in Brandenburg v. Ohio). Mr. Ary is actually outside of the law by his attempt to limit Mr. Frank’s speech. According to published reports throughout South America, Mr. Ary claimed: “Gays can’t be Christians; homosexuality is wrong,” looking directly at Mr.

Franks. Adolf Hitler used the very same argument in his attack and ultimate murder of more than 500,000 gay men and 100,000 lesbians, while proclaiming himself to be “defending God as a good Christian” (Heger, Heinz (1980). The Men With the Pink Triangle.  Hamburg, Germany: Melin-Verlag; Giles, Geoffrey J. “‘The Most Unkindest Cut of All’: Castration, Homosexuality and Nazi Justice,” Journal of Contemporary History, vol. 27 (1992): pp. 41–61).

While Dakota Ary queried his teacher about what churches are in Germany and whether or not they read the Bible in English.  Mr. Ary should study German culture, for there are numerous denominations in Germany. Christianity is the largest religion in Germany with 54,765,265 (67.07%) adherents as of the end of 2006, down to 51.5 million adherents (62.8%) as of 2008.  The second largest

religion is Islam with 3.3 million adherents (4%) followed by Buddhism and Judaism.  Protestants (especially Lutherans) have lost the greatest number of followers especially with their rigid orthodoxy that was in keeping with Hitler’s xenophobia.  Atheism has risen the fastest and sharpest among all ethnic Germans. All have a “holy book” each with a unique name, and all having more than one translation.  None of the translations are correct.

Infallibility of any scripture is assumed by some (primarily evangelicals and

fundamentalists), but most reject any book as being absolutely true–as proven by a committee in Jerusalem that is meticulously reviewing the texts against scrolls, fragments, and other remnants.  It has been the proliferation of variant Bibles that have led to the increase in denominations, inter- and intradenominal spats (as can be seen between the ELCA {Evangelical Lutheran Church in America} and WELS {Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Church} with the former more in keeping with the current concensus of tolerance, while the WELS community more in keeping with strict Lutheran diktat, such as its declaration that the Pontiff in Rome is the Anti-Christ, and that there is no salvation except through faith regardless of works, and so forth, roundly applauded by Michele Bachmann before her odyssey into the presidential primary waters.  It was an ideology that, according to Adolf Hitler who welcomed representatives of the WELS group of Lutherans to Berlin, would conquer the world because of their “rigorous attention to detail as Dr. Luther presented it” warming his heart and giving him strength to carry out his convictions to convert the world to Martin’s message.

Early Latin speaking christians used several versions (with different words) of the same book

Jesus before Pilate (Ryland Papyrus; fragments recording John 18 31 33 37 38)

What Mr. Ary needs to understand is that the Bible was never written in English until the sixteenth century and then numerous redactions transmogrified it, as happened to the Greek when St. Jerome created his Vulgate (Latin) version. As for “homosexual” does not appear in any version until after 1892, when the word was first used in a psychological treatise in C.G. Chaddock’s (c1892)  translation of Krafft-Ebing, R. von (Richard). Psychopathia sexualis, with especial reference to contrary sexual instinct: a medico-legal study … Authorized translation of the 7th enlarged and rev. German ed. by Charles G. Chaddock. Philadelphia London, F.A. Davis Co. The original, in German, is Krafft-Ebing’s Psychopathia sexualis : mit besonderer Berücksichtigung der conträren Sexualempfindung : eine klinisch-forensische Studie. Stuttgart, Germany: Ferdinand Enke, 1887.  The original term was “inversion”: Krafft-Ebing, Richard; Émile Laurent; Sigismond Csapo (1895 ed. in multiple languages). Psychopathia sexualis, ave Recherches spésiales sur l’Inversion sexuelle. Paris, France: Carré. As Carl Jung noted, “[religion] is a careful and scrupulous observation of what Rudoph Otto aptly termed the ‘numinosum,’ that is, a dynamic existence or effect, not caused by an arbitrary act of will.  On the contrary, it seizes and controls the human subject which is always rather its victim than its creator.” (Jung, Carl C., Psychology and Religion, New Haven, CT, USA: Yale University Press; London, UK: H. Milford, Oxford University Press, 1938.p. 4. Italics mine.)  It is the folie à millions as witnessed

in Heaven’s Gate, Harold Camping prophecies (current prediction is that the world will end on October 21, 2011, previously it was May 21, 2011), Peoples Temple in Jonestown (Gayana), Branch Davidians, and so forth, but can lead to relativistic contrasts as detailed by John Macmurray in his The Structure of Religious Experience (New Haven, CT, USA: Yale University Press, 1936, pp. 54 sqq).

The word in the Bible in the Greek is “effeminate” (KJV, AKJV, ASV, BBE, Douay-Rheims uses it as a form of “idolatry”, and so forth: θηλυπρεπής.  The problem is with the contemporary linguistic corruption as with It does not nor ever has meant homosexual or homosexuality. It wasn’t until 1946 with the coming out of the Revised Standard Version (RSV) did we find the word homosexual in an English translation.

Hebrew University (Jerusalem) Bible Project: finding errors (2011)

Very little of today’s Bible is original.  What is read by contemporary Christians is a book with more than ten thousand errors in translation, additions, subtractions, and inventions.  Even the “chapters and verses” did not exist in the original Bible (Hebrew or Christian).

Early fragment of Revelation (616 is the number of the beast--not 666)

The Christian Bible did not have chapters or verses until Cardinal Hugo de Sancto Caro, started to do this from 1244 to 1248 CE. He did this while creating a concordance of the Latin Vulgate.  His reason for dividing the various “books” was to help people look up verses of the Bible. Today, the typical modern chapter divisions were apparently devised by Stephen Langton, Archbishop of Canterbury in England, around 1227 CE.  The Wycliffe English Bible used them when it was circulated in 1382.  Mordecai Nathan, a Jewish teacher, divided the Hebrew Old Testament into chapters in 1445 CE.  Three years later, Nathan and a scholar named Athias divided the Old Testament into verses in 1448.

Mr. Dakota Ary would be better served if he studied German and the ancient languages before arguing about that which he has no knowledge or competence than maliciously utter that which is without linguistic or historical foundation and has no place in a classroom of language. Dakota should take his arguments to a center of theology but be prepared to have them scrutinized and subject to

rebuttal under the same First Amendment. I will be happy to debate Mr. Ary if he will use the original scrolls or a quasicompetent (pre-1892) bible that is in Hebrew and Greek (Old Testament) and Koine or Attic Greek, Coptic, Armenian, etc. (New Testament)—not English (the English language did not exist at the time the various scriptures were written, and no bible existed before the Emperor Constantine I (“the Great”) demanded, in 331 CE (Apologia ad Constantium 4).  The emperor wrote: I have thought it expedient to instruct your Prudence to order fifty copies of the sacred Scriptures, the provision and use of which you know to be most needful for the instruction of the Church, to be written on prepared parchment in a legible manner, and in a convenient, portable form, by professional transcribers thoroughly practised in their art (Vita Constantini, IV,36, in Greek). Eusebius responded: Such were the emperor’s commands, which were followed by the immediate execution of the work itself, which we sent him in magnificent and elaborately bound volumes of a threefold and fourfold form (Vita Constantini, IV,37; there is a problem with the phrase: εν πολυτελως ησκημενοις τευχεσι τρισσα και τετρασσα  διαπεμψαντων ημων as it could be translated “three or four volumes” or “sent in three or four boxes”, etc.). Bishop Athanasius claims the order came later: between 337-339 CE.  The first ecclesiastical councils to classify the canonical books were both held in North Africa-at Hippo Regius in 393 and at Carthage in 397.   The English language belongs only in classes taught in English—it has no place in a course taught in German, French, Spanish or any other idiom.

Dakota Ary is similar to Adolf Hitler in many ways.  Ary is struggling to introduce his peculiar version of Christianity into a public school where there are students of various denomination and no denomination and who reject religion.  This is the same terrorist tactic used by Adolf Hitler who promised never to tolerate public secular schools:

German school children in uniform from NSDAP Standarten Kalender 1939

“Secular schools can never be tolerated because such schools have no religious instruction, and a general moral instruction without a religious foundation is built on air; consequently, all character training and religion must be derived from faith.” (Adolf Hitler in a speech on 26 April 1933, during negotiations that led to the Nazi-Vatican Concordant of 1933 with Pope Pius XII, from Ernst Helmreich (1979). The German Churches Under Hitler, Detroit: Wayne State University Press, p. 241).

Hitler was endorsed by Roman Catholic and Lutheran bishops and other Protestant leaders

Ary claims that he is speaking out as a concerned Christian.  Ary’ claim is 100% identical to that of Adolf Hitler: Hitler was to be the savior of the Christian community and its church: “The folkish-minded man, in particular, has the sacred duty, each in his own denomination, of making people stop just talking superficially of God’s will, and actually fulfill God’s will, and not let God’s word be desecrated. For God’s will gave men their form, their essence and their abilities. Anyone who destroys His work is declaring war on the Lord’s creation, the divine will.” (cf. Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Ralph Mannheim, ed.; New York: Mariner Press, 1999, p. 562.)

Church leaders in support of Hitler

Dakota Ary claims that he is doing the work of his god, defending the Bible, and following Jesus.  It is no different in the letters and papers of Adolf Hitler, for Hitler boldly proclaimed that he was “doing the work of the Lord” by fighting the Jews (ibid., p. 65) and he proclaimed his “Christian Crusade” not only in his autobiography, but in various papers and speeches. For example, he thundered “My feeling as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded only by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God’s truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was his fight against the Jewish poison. Today, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before the fact that it was for this that He had to shed his blood upon the Cross. As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice. And as a man I have the duty to see to it that human society does not suffer the same catastrophic collapse as did the civilization of the ancient world some two thousand years ago — a civilization which was driven to its ruin through this same Jewish people.[In his hatred for the Jews, Sabbatarians, and others, Hitler followed the writings of Martin

Luther (Against the Jews: Von den Jüden und jren Lügen, Wittenberg, Germany1543] “Then indeed when Rome collapsed there were endless streams of new German bands flowing into the Empire from the North; but, if Germany collapses today, who is there to come after us? German blood upon this earth is on the way to gradual exhaustion unless we pull ourselves together and make ourselves free! “And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly, it is the distress that daily grows. For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people. And when I look on my people I see them work and work and toil and labor, and at the end of the week they have only for their wages wretchedness and misery. When I go out in the morning and see these men standing in their queues and look into their pinched faces, then I believe I would be no Christian, but a very devil, if I felt no pity for them, if I did not, as did our Lord two thousand years ago, turn against those by whom today this poor people are plundered and exploited.” (Speech on April 12, 1922, at Munich; from Norman H. Baynes, ed. The Speeches of Adolf Hitler: April 1922-August 1939 Vol. 1, New York: Oxford University Press, 1942, pp. 19-20.) The union (Gewekschaft) of Hitler with evangelical Protestantism as posed by

Adolf Hitler and Martin Luther

Luther was clear in the speeches and writings of Bernard Rust, German Minister of Education under Hitler. Rust wrote and spoke: Since Martin Luther closed his eyes, no such son of our people has appeared again. It has been decided that we shall be the first to witness his reappearance…. I think the time is past when one may not say the names of Hitler and Luther in the same breath. They belong together; they are of the same old stamp [Schrot und Korn]. -Volkischer Beobachter, 25 Aug. 1933.

Adolf Hitler was every bit as intolerant as Ary of FWISD (cf. Steigmann-Gall, Richard (2003). The Holy Reich: Nazi conception of Christianity, 1919-1945 Cambridge University Press; on the Sabbatarians [Adventists] read Luther, Martin Werke vol. 47: pp. 59, 65-70, 80, 96-07. On the tie between Luther and Hitler, read: Léon Poliakov, The History of Anti-Semitism, 4 Vols. (London: Routledge/Oxford: Oxford University Press, 1974-1985), and Christopher R. It is surprising that the Fort Worth Independent School District would even entertain Mr. Ary’s objections without all the facts. I lived in Dallas County from 1977 to 1998, and never came across a similar gross miscarriage of justice, out of a slavish fear of Jerry Falwell’s barristers. Freedom of speech does not include masquerading behind ontology or theology with the goal of destroying another person’s reputation, profession, or education. The Liberty Institute (originally founded in 1972 under the name Free Market Foundation), an off-shoot of the Liberty Council, funded by the Koch Brothers, that is a recognized/organized and accredited hate group which has provided the lawyer to represent Ary.  This gaggle of “legal experts” depicts itself as concerned with protecting “faith-based speech,” yet has a record of fighting against the extension of anti-harassment policies to protect LGBT people for it is homophobic admittedly and its legal counsel ill-trained but heavily financially subsidized by recognized and recorded as organized hate groups.  Groups connected with the Liberty Institute include numerous organized hate/racist groups such as the Khristian Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, American Family Association, Focus on the Family, Sovereign Citizens, Tea Party, and so forth. Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University’s sponsorship of counsel lends even less credibility to this situation. I will be happy to debate the Christianity of Ary in Coptic, Greek (Attic or Koine [lingua franca]), Latin or any Biblical language.

Dakota Ary has no “faith-based speech” (cp. Mark 12:31: δευτέρα αὐτῇ· ἀγαπήσεις τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν. μείζων τούτων ἄλλη  ἐντολὴ  οὐκ ἔστιν)—he only exhibits hate-based speech as any psychologist would

testify. Hate-based speech is the beginning of the descent into violence. In the field of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud defined hate as an ego state that wishes to destroy the source of its unhappiness (Freud, Sigmund (1915). “The instincts and their vicissitudes” in General psychological theory : papers on metapsychology; with an introduction by the editor Philip Rieff. New York : Touchstone, 2008, c1991.  More recently, the Penguin Dictionary of Psychology  defines hate as a “deep, enduring, intense emotion expressing animosity, anger, and hostility towards a person, group, or object”. The American Psychological Association has gone on record against limitless hate speech. It noted, collectively, “In addition to the physical wounds that hate crimes can leave behind, they can also have serious consequences for the mental health and well-being of victims and communities,” said APA CEO Norman B. Anderson, Ph.D. Hate-speech frequently leads to hate-violence and actions propelled by hate. The American Psychological Association and student advocacy organizations have documented relationships between bullying and violence in schools. Classmates excessively bullied Columbine shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold.

Charles "Andy" Williams, 16, is sworn in before pleading guilty

Students at Santana High School in Santee said Charles “Andy” Williams, who killed two students and wounded 13 others, was relent-lessly bullied at school. Williams’ father said the bullying bordered on “torture.” A three-year study showed bullying at Santana High School was rampant long before Williams

opened fire.  Bullying does not always lead to the bullied person taking revenge by killing those who have bullied him or her, as was the case with another troubled student, Jason Hoffman, who opened fire on Granite Hills High three weeks after the Santana shooting.  It also leads to the suicide of the person being bullied, as was the case with more than 10,000 students in the USA: from 15-year-old Phoebe Prince who had moved to Massachusetts from Ireland, to Jamey Rodemeyer who took his own life in Buffalo, New York, to scores more.

Fortunately, the judicial arm of the law is now filing suits against the bullies and having them stand trial for their role in leading to the suicide of other students.
The American Psychiatric Association has long affirmed that a child does what

he or she sees and hears from a known person for whom they have respect, rather than what it is told by someone they do not know nor respect. Pastors and parishioners who preach hate reap that hatred in actions by those who listen and agree out of a sense of loyalty. It happens in every state of the Union, in every country from Poland to Perú, Russia to Romania, Finland to France, to Australia and New Zealand where deaths are increasing at an equally obscene rate .  No place is immune from bullying as most parents and teachers see bullying as a “rite of

passage” to adulthood.  The are wrong as family and community learned when it was too late to save Daniel Mendez, 16, of San Clemente, California, who was a Boy Scout, had plenty of friends, earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, played football and was consistently an honor student, but was regularly called a “half-breed” (racism is alive in California as it is in all other states) gay male and made his “life a living hell.”  While he claimed he “could handle it”–he could not, and on On May 1, 2009, he shot himself in front of a friend’s house as life was unbearable with the evangelical Christians constantly badgering and baiting him for being a homosexual: one of the many expressions of nature that is normal and natural but that fundamentalists do not accept.  When Orange County officials began an investigation into reasons for the wasted life of Mr. Mendez, they learned that more than sixty-percent of all students had been bullied, but only sixteen-percent of all teachers considered the acid words and cruel taunts as bullying: the teachers are as guilty as the students for the death of Daniel Mendez and should be counselled and get psychological evaluation, for their ignorance of the danger and damage of bullying makes the teachers unfit for their jobs.  As the investigators discovered, the two biggest threats to young lives are Facebook and Tweet, and suggested that parents install monitoring systems that record each keystroke of both Facebook post and Tweet.

Bullying is premeditated assistance-murder in the first degree, and among the very young it is a product of cyberbullying over the internet.

Cyberbullying reported among sixth to eighth grade students

In all my research, and especially with an in-depth study of the case in Fort Worth concerning Mr. Ary, I find no difference between Ary, Luther, or Hitler. They are from the same cloth, and when any claim that they have a religious right to defame others or speak out against universal freedom of expression, Ary, Luther, and Hitler are triplets of the same cloth. Today, Ary is a major threat to human freedom and the advancement of knowledge and learning in Fort Worth, and all indicators point to the enhanced possibilities that FWISD will be another Columbine.

Jamey Rodemeyer's suicide made Lady Gaga angry to organize 'Bullying is Hate Crime" that has now become a law in many states and cities, including Dallas, TX

Jamey Rodemeyer committed suicide in New York when classmates exercised their “religious freedom” to shout at him that he was “going to hell.”  Despite the fact that Rodemeyer is dead, his family is still being attacked by the same bullies that neither the police nor the weak principle of Jamey’s school will do anything about.  NOTE:  Despite the fact that local police say they are investigating R0demeyer’s suicideto potentially prosecute the actions of

Jamey's sister Alyssa Rodemeyer

classmates that bullied Rodemeyer to death, students are still harassing and bullying Rodemeyer’s family. At the Williamsville North High School Homecoming dance last weekend, Rodemeyer’s sister, Alyssa was harassed and jeered, and, as she says in this video, her brother’s bullies yelled at the school dance, “We’re glad he’s dead”. The are under investigation, for the moment.  Williamsville Schools Superintendent Scott G. Martzloff had begun to publicly defend the district’s response to Jamey’s suicide–which is nothing but meetings with no penalties or other actions spelled out or even hinted in a five minute video put out for the students.  As of October 1, 2011, Martzloff, has “declined” all interviews with the news media and has been consulting with Republican operatives who are standing behind Michele and Marcus Bachmann that homosexuality is a sin and it is better for the sinner to be dead.

Phoebe Prince, age 15, a new immigrant from Ireland, committed suicide in Massachusetts by hanging herself after being repeatedlybullied by god-squads.

Phoebe Prince, age 15, migrated from Ireland to Massachusetts, and committed suicide because of bullying

Those who bullied Ms. Prince were later charged with bullying in an open court in Massachusetts.

Kayla Narey and Sean Mulveyhill pleaded guilty to bullying in Massachusetts--where it is a crime.

Other bullies in Phoebe Prince’s suicide were also charged.

Flannery Mullins was also charged with bullying Phoebe Prince into committing suicide

Fanny Mullins was soon joined by her co-bully, Sharon Chanon Velazquez.

Sharon Chanon Velazques was charged with aggrevated bullying of Phoebe Prince

Today there are more than one millions suicides that are successful every year. In 2007, it was the tenth leading cause of death in the U.S., accounting for 34,598 deaths. The overall rate was 11.3 suicide deaths per 100,000 people (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Injury Prevention and Control. Web-based Injury Statistics Query and Reporting System (WISQARS).

For every 100,000 young people in each age group, the following number died by suicide:

  • Children ages 10 to 14 — 0.9 per 100,000
  • Adolescents ages 15 to 19 — 6.9 per 100,000
  • Young adults ages 20 to 24 — 12.7 per 100,000 An estimated 11 attempted suicides occur per every suicide death.

Montana Denton Lance (age 9)

Nine-year-old Montana Lance committed suicide in the boy’s bathroom at Stewarts Creek Elementary School in North Dallas in January 2010.  There were 33 suicides among children ages 5-9 in the U.S. between 1999 and 2006, according to statistics from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  In each case, bullying was the factor with religion and the terror of help the primary armament.

Most suicides are the result of bullying, and most murders are the result of hatred expressed by others. Risk factors for attempted suicide by youth include depression by being ridiculed by those expressing their religious freedom and rights to libel, slander or call-out those who do not share their ideology, ontology, or theology, plus alcohol or other drug-use disorder, physical or sexual abuse, and disruptive behavior (Petronis KR, Samuels JF, Moscicki EK, Anthony JC (1990). “An epidemiologic investigation of potential risk factors for suicide attempts.” Social Psychiatry and Psychiatric Epidemiology, 25(4): 193-9; cp. U.S. Public Health Service (2001). National strategy for suicide prevention: goals and objectives for action. Rockville. Baltimore, MD, USA: USDHHS). As the Prime Minister of Norway, Kjell Bondevik, noted: “All religions can be misused by extremists who are seeking to find arguments for persecution or a holy war. History has shown it again and again. We have seen it in Christianity, in the form of the Medieval Crusades, and the persecution of non-Christian and heretics right up to our own times. I am thinking for instance of the so-called Army of God in the U.S. which condones the killing of medical personnel who are involved in abortions” and the slaughter of all people who oppose it as “God is the only Commander-in-Chief”. This is also the case in fundamentalist Islam and jihad, as well as all other religions extremist groups of Christian terrorists.  The majority of all suicides comes from bullying, especially by evangelical Christian extremists:

  • Suicide is the third leading cause of death among young people, resulting in about 4,400 deaths per year, according to the CDC. For every suicide among young people, there are at least 100 suicide attempts. Over 14 percent of high school students have considered suicide, and almost 7 percent have attempted it.
  • Bully victims are between 2 to 9 times more likely to consider suicide than non-victims, according to studies by Yale University
  • A study in Britain found that at least half of suicides among young people are related to bullying
  • 10 to 14-year-old girls may be at even higher risk for suicide, according to the study above
  • According to statistics reported by ABC News, nearly 30 percent of students are either bullies or victims of bullying, and 160,000 kids stay home from school every day because of fear of bullying

Most suicide attempts are expressions of extreme distress, not harmless bids for attention. Religious extremism has always had an asymmetrical affect on suicides. Given the current statistics and studies, Dakota Ary will probably precipitate a blood-bath at FWISD, if the FWISD does not stay vigilant and strong as it did when it cleared teacher Kristopher Frank of all charges on Friday, 30 September 2011. If bullying continues in Fort Worth, as it does around the USA, most likely will there will be a more gruesome tragedy in Fort Worth, Texas than at Columbine, Colorado.

Marriage = 1 man + 1 woman: what the Bible says

Keith Ratliff Sr.

Many contemporary evangelists, such as Keith Ratliff Sr of Des Moines, Iowa, a Black Southern Baptist preacher who extols hatred at the Maple Street Missionary Baptist Church, when denouncing the Iowa Supreme Court that stood up for human rights, claiming that the Iowa Supreme Court cannot “overturn the laws of [his] god” by allowing basic civil  rights to all people of Iowa while supporting slavery and forced labor in foreign nations, declaring that he speaks for god and uses a bible that is a poor translation of original documents.  Not only does Ratliff misuse the actual statements in the bible in its original sense (he has never had a professional course in translation and interpretation, nor wants one) but he claims that his particular version of scripture is sacred and not to be questioned, making him not only controversial but ludicrous as he has no concept of what he is talking about but does grandstand to an adorning and illiterate congregation. Ratliff is the president of the Iowa-Nebraska chapter of the NAACP, and goes against the official NAACP stand for the rights of all people, declaring that there is “no parallel” between the civil rights movement of the 1960s and the gay rights movement of the twenty-first century  (see: http://rodonline.typepad.com/rodonline/2009/04/iowas-leading-black-pastor-no-compromise-on-homosexuality.html), and rapid preachers such as

who have never studied the original scriptures in scroll or redactions claim that marriage is between one man and one woman.  In most cases, televangelists argue that marriage is where a woman submits to a man as if he were her “lord and master”—an absurdity found frequently among early Protestant leaders such as Martin Luther of eastern Germany and Jean Calvin of Geneva (Switzerland). What [(ὃ)] is not “those” (Οι meaning αυτές) and is a translation error. That is not what any ancient document defines marriage as being: a submission of one to another, but rather a united workforce of two (or more) people.  The full text comes from Matthew 19:4: but this is not about marriage, but about divorce, and the text is not a reference to individuals but to a unity of purpose and work, for the word that is used is “enjoined” or “cleaved” that means “knit together” (or “glued”) as if it were one (ο δε αποκριθεις ειπεν αυτοις ουκ ανεγνωτε οτι ο ποιησας απ αρχης αρσεν και θηλυ εποιησεν αυτους και ειπεν ενεκεν τουτου καταλειψει ανθρωπος τον πατερα [αυτου] και την μητερα και προσκολληθησεται τη γυναικι αυτου και εσονται οι δυο εις σαρκα μιαν).  There is no gender reference in this line.  It is copied from Mark 10:9 and was adapted to Romans 7:1-3.

Exegetical writers argue that the aorist tense (denoting the occurrence of an event at some past time, considered as a momentary act) seems to refer to the original ordinance of God at the creation—but this does not exist. Matthew 19:4-5 is strengthened by the word Συνεζευξεν, which translates as “yoked together,” in the same was as oxen are yoke together at the plough, where each must pull equally, in order to bring the plough through the field and ultimately benefit from their labor. This is a very ancient symbolism and found in all Abrahamic communities, where their people who were newly married, put a yoke upon their necks, or chains upon their arms, to show that they were to be one, closely united, and pulling equally together in all the concerns of life.

Marriage of the god Cupid and goddess Psyche

The ancient custom of putting on a yoke in the Middle East was generated by practical needs: the understanding that unless the two worked together the two would not eat, as the symbolism is quite different from the ancient Greek theology as defined in the marriage of Cupid and Psyche.  In this far older religious perspective, Cupid (not a baby nor a boy but a robust man) wed Psyche and the two became “one flesh”—a term that later Hapiru moving from India into the Canaanite valley would adopt.  This changed only slightly with time, as can be seen in the interpretations of the translation from the Greek into the Syriac, Arabic, Persic, and Ethiopic versions that read, “one body”: with the subjection of the “weaker vessel” that is given the title “wife” (it had nothing to do with gender” is to be beloved by the husband (the stronger vessel) as his own body, as himself, as his own flesh, which appears in paraphrasing in the Pauline Letter to the Ephesians 5:28. The idea, in its earliest days did not include a contract for “eternity” but while the union was mutually beneficial.  The ancient Egyptians defined that as being a contract for “marriage” (mutual help) understood as a social institution that culminated in the legal or religious ceremony that formalizes the decision of two people (gender not specified) to live as a married couple and work for each other, protect each other, love each other, nurture each other and be supportive of each other.

What the various writers of the Gospels and Epistles ignored (or were expunged of in the various redactions of the scriptures, especially during the era 440 – 1120 CE) was that the objection, allegedly posed by the Jesus of the New Testament, is to the indifference of married couples where Moses allowed the husband to give his wife a letter of divorce is found in Deuteronomy 24:1.  By the time that the Book of Deuteronomy is written and with its various redactions put into place, the two partners become gender specific, so that if a man (the stronger of the two) marries a woman (the weaker of the two) who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her, he is allowed to write her a certificate of divorce, give it to her and send her from his house (as property was the prerogative and right of the stronger of the two in a union, and women lost, over time, their rights in a “marriage” (cp. Matthew 5:31 but that is allowed only in case of infidelity because the wife will seek sex elsewhere and that was considered, wrongly, as adultery, and the individual having sex with the one divorced is considered guilty as well to the charge of adultery: the key is in verse 32: εγω δε λεγω υμιν οτι ος αν απολυση την  γυναικα αυτου παρεκτος λογου πορνειας ποιει αυτην μοιχασθαι και ος  εαν απολελυμενην γαμηση μοιχαται that is taken from Jeremiah 3:9 and reflects Babylonian law; it is definitely not new with the Jesus of the New Testament (cf. Matthew 19:8 where Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning”).  The Matthew account is directly copied from the Marcian account (Mark 10:11 which matches the Babylonian directive. It must be remembered that the Gospel of Mark is the source for the other synoptic gospels—not Matthew and this is best seen in the misuse of the word “wife.”

Wife, originally, meant “helpmeet” [a person suitable to help a lord or leader, and was used in the original King James Version of the Bible; in the original Genesis 2:18, it means “suitable” and usually came after investigation, interview, dialogue, and terms of the employment or living agreed upon] or “helpmate” [a companion, from the Hebrew ‘ezer keneghdo’ [וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים לֹא־טֹוב הֱיֹות הָאָדָם לְבַדֹּו אֶעֱשֶׂהּ־לֹּו עֵזֶר כְּנֶגְדֹּו׃] it does not become one unified word until 1673].  Wife did not mean a woman married to a man until shortly before 900 CE, and then it is an evolutionary word that comes from the Old English wif  “woman,” from Proto-Germanic *wiban  (cf. Old Saxon and Old Frisian wif , Old Norse vif , Danish and Swedish viv , Middle Dutch and Dutch wijf , Old High German wib , and German Weib ), of uncertain origin. Some proposed Proto-Indo-European (hereafter cited as PIE) roots include *weip–  “to twist, turn, wrap,” perhaps with sense of “veiled person” [which various religions in the subcontinent and Middle East will adopt when they turn to “covering the wife” with a Burqa] (see vibrate: Latin vibratus,  past participle of vibrare meaning to “move quickly to and fro, shake,” which was expected from a helper to show that the individual was working’ from PIE *w(e)ib–  “move quickly to and fro” (cf. Lithuanian wyburiu  “to wag” (the tail) as a helper was expected to move quickly and the labor would require that the entire body was not resting, thus bending over, or swaying when harvesting, planting, and so forth was required and later used to “wag the tongue” (to speak quickly in defense of the house, to correct a disobedient child, or to speak out against a wrongful act), as it appear in the Danish vippe, Dutch wippen  “to swing,” that originate out of the Old English wipan meaning “to wipe” as the drying of a dish, cleaning of a table, and so forth; or *ghwibh– , a proposed root meaning “shame,” also “pudenda,” but the only examples of it are wife  and Tocharian (a lost Indo-European language of central Asia) kwipe, kip  “female pudenda.” The modern sense of “female spouse” that began as a specialized sense in Old English was transmogrified into the current the general sense of “woman” and can be seen in the preservation of such words as midwife, old wives’ tale, etc.  The Middle English sense of “mistress of a household” survives in housewife and it gave the house tender control over supplies, ordering victuals, disciplining servants and churls, and so forth.  It was later restricted in the sense or terminology of “tradeswoman of humble rank” as in fishwife. This is seen in the Dutch Wijf.  All became subject, in time, to the control of a male as patriarchy became increasingly more dominant and the fertility mother (alma mater) and her statues (such as the Venus of Willendorf; 24,000 – 22,000 BCE; cf. Berlant, Stephen (July, 2011). The Venus of Hohle Fels: Its Entheomycological Significance in Relation to The Venus of Willendorf and

Venus von Willendorf

Other, Anthropoid, Female Figurines. http://www.anistor.gr/english/index.htm Art Section) disappeared to be replaced by patriarch and masculine representations when displaced males (such as the ancient Hapiru invaded, conquered, and destroyed the more advanced civilizations such as Canaan and demoted their goddesses (Asherah, for example) to raise up their totems of male dominance, or transmogrified female deities into male deities, as seen in the Yah from ancient Egypt).

It is claimed, in error, that the ordinance of marriage was sanctioned in Paradise (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6). It is also stated by evangelicals that monogamy was the original law under which man lived, but polygamy commenced at a very early date (Genesis 4:19), and continued to swell in number and frequency and prevail all down through Jewish history.

The laws of Moses regulated but did not prohibit polygamy. A man might have a plurality of wives, but a wife could have only one husband. A wife’s legal rights (Exodus 21:10) and her duties (Proverbs 31:10-31; 1 Timothy 5:14 being a plagiarism from past Hebraic writings taken from Akkadian scripts) are specified. The wife could be divorced in special cases (Deuteronomy 22:13-21), but the wife could not divorce her husband.

It is alleged that divorce was restricted by the Jesus of the New Testament to the single case of adultery (Matthew 19:3-9) as discussed earlier, but the authenticity of this inclusion is now under scrutiny. The duties of husbands and wives in their relations to each other are distinctly set forth in the New Testament (1 Corinthians 7:2-5; Ephesians 5:22-33; Colossians 3:18, 19; 1 Peter 3:1-7). What is unique is the role of the “husband”?

The word “husband” originally meant a manager and a frugal person (a change occurred with the advent of the Industrial Revolution).  The husband controlled all income (including the wife’s dowry that was brought to the marriage) and purchases in the house).  The word “husband” is from Old Norse hūsbōndi,  which is a combination of hūs  house + bōndi  one who has a household, from bōa  to dwell reflecting the Old English husbonda:  “male head of a household,” probably from the Old Norse husbondi  “master of the house,” from hus  “house” + bondi but with the unique meaning of  “householder, dweller, freeholder, peasant,” from buandi,  present participle of bua  “to dwell”.  It was originally used for a “peasant farmer” (early thirteenth century) and is preserved in husbandry (first attested in the late fourteenth century). Beginning late in the thirteenth century it replaced the Old English wer as “married man,” as the companion of a wif, which has been recognized by many scholars as a sad loss for English poetry. The verb “manage thriftily” appearing in the middle of the fifteenth century is from the noun, in the obsolete sense, “steward” (mid-fifteenth century); before 1000 CE.  The Middle English husband ( e ), Old English hūsbonda  meant anyone who was master [controller] of the house and comes from the Old Norse hūsbōndi,  equivalent to hūs (house) + bōndi  ( bō-,  variant of bū-)  dwell (see the word boor in any quality dictionary as it refers to a peasant or an unruly person: a country bumpkin; rustic; yokel or one who acts like a pig: is boorish) + -nd  present participle suffix + -i  inflectional ending).

To build a theology around the antiquity of “marriage” led to the invention of many words by giving a false definition to them as found in the Christian Bible. For example, the Biblical name of the first man, from the Hebrew adam (Hebrew: אָדָם‎, Arabic: آدم‎) does not mean “man,” but must be translated “from the ground”.  It is a horticultural term: a lump of red clay (Hebrew is adamah  “ground”) and comes from the Canaanite word for “workers of the earth” and is plural in number and gender neutral; cf. Latin: homo that is misused and mistranslated as “man,” but is actually a Greek word meaning “same”; this is, however, found in the words for humanus for “human,” and humus  “earth, ground, soil.” The misuse of translation and interpretation skills have brought such nonsense into the language as “Adam’s apple” (first appearing in 1755) being an inexact translation of the Hebrew tappuah haadam, literally: “man’s swelling,” from ha-adam  “the man” + tappuah  “anything swollen” that actually described the swelling of the earth when there was an earthquake or volcanic eruption. The allusion is to the fact that a piece of the forbidden fruit (commonly believed to be an apple) that Eve gave Adam is supposed to have stuck in his throat. To not know (someone) from Adam “not know him at all” is first recorded 1784.

The issue of “red” for the earth is from ancient Babylonia and has been used by the invading Hapiru and other barbarians from the north as a generic name for man, having the same meaning in the Hebrew and the Assyrian languages. The order of creation written in Genesis 1 and 2 very significantly (Ide, Arthur Frederick (1982). Woman in ancient Israel under the Torah and Talmud : with a translation and critical commentary on Genesis 1-3; Mesquite: IHP) , as does the “sin” that saw the mortals expelled from the Garden, once “Eve” is created and she eats the forbidden fruit. At that point she becomes a woman, and her punishment for sinning against the orders of the landlord was to give birth to children—although she only had three sons. We have the names of only three of Adam’s sons, viz., Cain (it means “farmer”), Abel (it means “shepherd”, and Seth (it has various meanings, including “trickster” and “substitute”) who has his origins in ancient Egyptian theology.  Genesis 5:4 reads that other children were born—and from them all came all the nations of the earth.  This line shows that incest was acceptable and a common form of “marriage”, and while the “children” of Genesis 5:4 says “sons and daughters” and Josephus claims (Antiquities 1:1) that Adam had thirty-three sons and twenty-three daughters, Cain would have had to marry (had sex) one of them to have children. Josephus is not a reliable writer, nor is he a historian or scientist, and his books are saturated with errors (http://www.isaiah18.com/josephusvsnature.html).

Eve is the only “living human” that can be based on the Bible. It is a feminine noun, and is in Hebrew Hawwah that liberally has been translated as “a living being” but actually is a word that means “life” or “the growing earth.”  What history there is of her comes from various texts, but few are in agreement.  The birth of her first son cannot linguistically be attributed to Adam, as Genesis 4:1 states “I have gotten a man with the help of the Lord,” suggesting that the overseer was the father and follows the outline and words of most ancient civilizations from Ethiopian to Hindu on the generation of species.

Eve named her son Cain as if he had been the Promised One the “Seed of the woman.” While this topic is too involved to enter into this essay, what must be answered is the evangelical biblical literalists argument that Adam and Eve were “married”.  Their claim is based on Genesis 2:24 (repeated in Matthew 19:5, Mark 10:7) but the word references a sexual act and not a contract to continue laboring together.  Then, too, there is the argument that Adam only had one wife; but legend and other scriptures argue that he had two: the first wife was known as Lilith first appearing in what is considered a pseudepigraphic eighth to tenth century Alphabet of Ben Sira is considered to be the oldest form of the story of Lilith as Adam’s first wife, with Eve as his second wife, but Lilith and her legend is found earlier in the Babylonian Talmud (completed between 500 and 700 AD/CE, although legend has it that it was begun around 200 CE). Lilith is also found in Mesopotamian and Akkadian texts that predate both, with the Tree of Life being a part of the Babylonian Gilgamesh.

Seth was the third son of Adam and Eve (Genesis 4:25; the word means “appointed” or “substitute”, (Genesis 4:25; 5:3). His mother gave him his name, “for God,” said she, “hath appointed me [i.e., compensated me with] another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.” However, the name can be directly traced to an ancient Egyptian god, patron of the 11th nome (or province) of Upper Egypt.

Egyptian God Set/Seth (horns indicated enlightenment, as with Michelangelo's statue of Moses)

Seth has been recorded with the symbols of pigs, donkeys, and fishes. His cult centers were at Tanis, Ombos, and he was regarded as the Lord of Lower (Northern) Egypt.  Most commonly, Seth was represented by a big-eared imaginary animal with red (reflecting Adam: the red earth) hair resembling a donkey or maybe an aardvark. He was associated with the desert and storms. The Greeks associated Seth with their god, Typhon.  His story is more complete in ancient Egyptian theology than the mythology of Genesis.

Seth was the brother of Osiris, Isis and Nephthys who was also his wife. Nephthys’ son, Anubis was born from her tryst with Osiris, carrying out the Middle East acceptance of adultery and incest. Seth never had any children, as emphasis of his association with the barren desert and of his status as the antithesis of the fertile Osiris. During his battles with Horus, the goddess Neith suggested a compromise by giving Horus the throne, and Seth the Semitic goddesses Astarte (Venus who in Canaanite theology was known as Asherah) and Asat, which gave him two wives like other Middle Eastern Semitic men.

Egyptian God Set/Seth

The story of Seth in Egypt is similar to that of Cain in the Old Testament for Seth became famous for the fratricide of his brother Osiris which most likely is the source for the Genesis account of Cain and Able, and for the attempted murder of his brother’s son, Horus. Horus survived though and avenged his father’s death by ruling all of Egypt and exiling Seth to the desert for all time—similar to Cain’s exile. Seth, however was not willing to accept the loss of his “birthright” and, like the legend of Jacob and Esau, was tricked out of it by his father’s wife.  While Jacob covered his hairless arms with the skins of goats, to fool his father Isaac, Isis transformed herself into a beautiful young woman and went to Seth with tears streaming down her face.  Seth asked the young woman what the matter was and Isis told a story like the situation that she found herself in with Horus: where an evil man had killed her husband and was trying to steal her family’s flocks. Seth became angry at her plight and insisted that the evil man be destroyed and that the young woman’s son should inherit the family’s estate. By his own words, Seth condemned himself, and lost the throne of Egypt.

Story of Seth in ancient Egypt

In the Legend of Osiris, Seth/Set kills Osiris and scatters his body, then claims the throne of the gods for his own. He is later struck down by Horus, the son of Osiris, who restores order to the world and sets up the pharaohs as the guardians of Maat. Seth/Set and Horus continue to battle for control of the world, setting up an epic conflict of good versus evil as would Michael the archangel battle the Fallen Angel (some who claim is Lucifer, others Satan; they are not the same angels: Satan is a Babylonian Son of God who is known as the Adversary or Advocate/Lawyer in Job 2:1, and Lucifer was an angel/god of light {lucem ferre}, while the one Cast Down was “The Devil” (Isaiah 14:3-20), but he is not said to have been “cast down” from heaven—this comes from the Second Book of Enoch Verses 29:4, 31:4 of the longer recension manuscript R.) For an English translation of the story, read:  http://www.touregypt.net/godsofegypt/legendofosiris.htm.  There are, however, many early Church Fathers celebrated this fiction which in time was accepted as fact, as with Tertullian (Contra Marcionem, v. 11, 17), Origen (Homilies on Ezekiel 13), and others, who identify Lucifer with the Devil, erroneously interpreting the Devil as being “cast down from heaven” (by mistranslating  Revelation 12:7–10; cf. Luke 10:18).

As for marriage being between “one man and one woman” as the hate mongers hiding behind the poorly translated bibles argue throughout the Christian world, there is no biblical support for the idea or concept.  Genesis 4:19 says “Lamech married two women, one named Adah and the other Zillah.” That means that marriage is between one man and two women (which can lead to jealousy and murder: Genesis 4:23).  Jacob, who was not of the House of Cain, also had a plurality of wives, with Leah and Rachel (who were polytheists) being the best known (Genesis 29:32 sqq), including the rare glimpse into their use of sexual devises (they sat on phallic statues of their gods to hide them from their father).

Esau, the elder twin son of Isaac and Rebekan (Genesis 25:25) also liked the ladies and married frequently.  The names of Esau’s wives differ in two traditions (Genesis 26:34 and 28:9; cf. 36:2-3).

Moses had at least two wives.  One was Zipporah (who was Moses’ cousin: Exodus 2:15-16 and in Exodus 18:1-6 and continued the Egyptian practice of female circumcision: Exodus 4:24-26).  Moses’ second wife was the “woman of Ethiopia” (http://hubpages.com/hub/The-Ethiopian-Princess the author of this article develops the reality found in the ancient spelling of the Torah where evangelicals attempt to claim that Moses had but one wife—which would be unusual in that day; cf. Numbers 11:35-12:2).  Moses’ polygamy is matched by Elkanah who had two wives: Hannah and Penninah (1 Samuel 1:2).

Saul offers his daughter Michal to David

David had numerous wives (Michal {daughter of King Saul; I Samuel 18:20,28 is unique as it is the first Biblical account of a woman saying that she loved a man, but here the Hebrew word is ahava and it does not mean a romantic love; Saul set a bride-price for the groom David to receive Michal; to risk his life harvesting the foreskin of 100 Philistines, but David returned with the foreskin of 200}, Ahinoam {mother of Amnon; Ahinoam was King Saul’s wife and daughter of Ahimaatz (I Samuel 14:50) and David married her while Saul was still alive and had not divorced her}, Abigail {mother of Kileab; Abigail is the wife of Nabal (whose name denotes a fool or glutton), a wealthy landowner in the Hebron. She is noted as wise and beautiful (I Samuel 25:3) especially in contrast to her husband}; Maacah {mother of Absalom and Tamar and daughter of King Talmai of Geshur}; Haggith {mother of Adonijah}, Eglah {mother of Ithream}, and Abital {mother of Shephatiah}. David’s last wife was Bathsheba, mother of Solomon {David married Bathsheba after having her husband killed; Bathsheba is named as the daughter of Eliam (II Samuel 11: 3) himself the son of Ahithophel one of David’s counselors (II Samuel 23:34) and David had sex with her despite the fact she was menstruating, which was illicit according to Jewish law)’ it is also possible that David married his own sister: According to the Book of Chronicles David had a sister named Abigail (I Chronicles 2:16) whose her husband is named Ithra (or Jether) (2 Samuel 17:26; and I Chronicles 2:17). It is possible that after Nabal’s death David’s sister rule over Hebron, which baits the question of whether or not there were two Abigail’s – one David’s third wife and one his sister, who most likely were sisters-in-law, and even possibly the same person? That implies that David married his sister after the death of his rival Nabal to inherit her estates. Could David marry his sister – it was not unheard of in the ancient mid-east (cf. Levenson, Jon D. (1978) in Catholic Biblical Quarterly, p. 27); David is accused of two sins:  murder and adultery (where death is commanded for both the man and the woman {Leviticus 20:10}), including having sex with his own granddaughter.  For murder, the prophet intoned, David’s punishment was to be ‘the sword shall never depart from your household. (II Samuel 12:10). For adultery his punishment is ‘[God] will raise up against you evil out of your own house . . .  Your wives . . . will lie with your friend . . . in sight of this sun . . . you shall not die . . . the child that is born to you shall surely die’ (II Samuel 12:11-14).  David readily admits his sin and the prophet responds that God will forgive, but David must nevertheless be punished. David’s immediate acceptance of his crime saves his own life but not that of the unborn child (‘And the Lord struck the child’ (II Samuel 12:15). King

Jonathan loved David

David also loved at least one man (Jonathan). David’s love for Jonathan is Biblical evidence that marriage (sexual) union occurred between men, as with David and Jonathan (1 Samuel 18:1-3) for in the account we read the Hebrew word ahab, used to describe how Jonathan loved David and it does not mean “platonic”; it occurs 208 times in the Hebrew text of the Old Testament. It is translated love in the KJV 169 times and occurs in the story of David and Solomon in 1 Samuel 16:21, 18:1, 3, 16, 20, 20:17 and II Samuel 1:26.

Solomon outdid all of the men in the Old Testament for polygamous marriages.  Solomon had 700 official wives and 300 concubines (1 Kings 11:1-3).

No where in the Bible is there a rule, law, proclamation, statement from any god in the Old (אֱלהִים: elohim is a plural noun and refers to “god(s)” and/or “goddess(es)”) or New Testament nor is the Jesus of the New Testament that marriage between one man with one woman.

"Constantine burning Arian books" MS CLXV, Biblioteca Capitolare, Vercelli, a compendium of canon law produced in northern Italy ca. 825 (a political lie, as Constantine was baptized by an Arian bishop, this cartoon appears 500 years later). The emperor burned no Arian books.

The Holy Spirit [which was not a part of the Trinity until the fourth century, and was considered one of three divine “persons” {ὑποστάσεις} but of one being {οὐσία} the invention of the Τριάς was established at the First Council of Nicaea in 325 CE under the order of the Emperor Constantine] used ahab in Genesis 29:20 to describe Jacob’s love for his wife Rachel and in Song of Solomon 3:1-4, to describe the love of the Shunamite girl for Solomon. The love of the Shulamite girl for Solomon is described as coming from her nephesh-soul, just as Jonathan’s love for David sprang from his nephesh-soul. Scripture uses ahabahto describe sexual love in the context of opposite sex marriage in Proverbs 5:19. Compare Ruth and Naomi (Ruth 1), Centurian and his servant (Matthew 8), Daniel and Ashpenaz in Daniel 1.  None of these were Sodomites, which refers to a city and the “pagan” (non-Hebrew worshippers of a fertility goddess: Asherah).  A sodomite in the Bible was always a shrine prostitute who worshipped the Canaanite fertility goddess? In many ways, the ancient Sodomites were similar to today’s cult of the Westboro Baptist Church that claims that “god hates…” and the god of Westboro Baptist Church will destroy nations that do not follow the dictates of his priesthood. Cf. Deuteronomy 23:17-18, 1 Kings 14:24, 15:12, 22:46, 2 Kings 23:7 and the non-Hebrew Book of Job 36:14;  all that use the word qadesh: it means “shrine prostitute” or “sacred whore” worshipping and interceding for a non-Hebrew deity.  This is the same term in Isaiah 1:9-10, 3:9, 13:19; Jeremiah 23:14, 49:18, 50:40; Lamentations 4:6; Ezekiel 16:46, 48-49 (which clearly defines the sin of the City of Sodom), 53, 55-56; Hosea 4:14 – harlots, qadeshah, shrine prostitutes; Amos 4:11; Zephaniah 2:9; Matthew 10:15, 11:23-24; Mark 6:11; Luke 10:12, 17:29; Romans 9:29; 2 Peter 2:6; Jude 5-7 talks about people and makes no references to LGBT individuals, as it speaks of the past when the Jews were in Egypt (it is worthy of note that the author(s) of Jude uses the Greek word, heteras {ἕτερος: meaning different, as in Acts 2:4 referencing speaking in different tongues} from which we get our English word, heterosexual, instead of the Greek word, homoios, {ίδιο: meaningsame} from which we get our English word, homosexual); Revelation 11:8, 22:15 – dogs (compare Deuteronomy 23:17-18 – “dog” was a derogatory name for a shrine prostitute: a “dog priest”; read: http://levendwater.org/companion/append42.html. The base line is clear: The participles ἐκπορνεύσασαι (ekporneusasai, “having indulged in sexual immorality”: going against consent or using sex in worship) and ἀπελθοῦσαι (apelqousai, “having pursued”) have concord with “cities” (πόλεις, poleis), a feminine plural noun, rather than with Sodom and Gomorrah (both masculine nouns) indicates non-Hebrew values or actions and thus were condemned and had nothing to do with sex between consenting individuals.

A nephilim and a daughter of man

The Testament of Asher 7:1 boldly declares that the people of Sodom should haveknown that the angels were strangers and thus would have sought them out as occurs in lands where xenophobia is strongest since throughout the Middle East there was a belief that angels/giants {or “Fallen Ones”} sought out the daughters of mortals (Testament of Naphtali 3:3-5; cp. Genesis 6:1-4; Zeitschrift für wissenschaftliche Theologie March 15, 1905).  These “fallen ones” have long been questioned as to whom they were, what they wanted, etc.  Among the most interesting interpretations is that of Matthew Henry who argued that god had to intervene (Henry, Matthew (1961) Commentary on the Whole Bible (Grand Rapids: Zondervan Publishing House):

“The sons of Seth (that is the professors of religion) married the daughters of men, that is, those that were profane, and strangers to God and godliness. The posterity of Seth did not keep by themselves, as they ought to have done. They inter-mingled themselves with the excommunicated race of Cain.”

It was not the sex between the two, but rather that they was an “intermixing” (true believers and nonbelievers) that would ultimately come into being an excuse for condemning interracial marriages and other merging of people.  Henry’s arguments are as spurious and nefarious as most evangelical commentaries, especially those by the Jehovah’s Witnesses and Pentecostal movements such as the Adventists, because at no time, before the Flood (a worldwide myth) or after, has God destroyed or threatened to destroy the human race for the alleged sin of “mixed marriages.”

Like other evangelicals, Henry is over reading the text, as there is no mention of Seth anywhere in this account. The contrast made in Genesis 6:2 is not between the descendants of Seth and the descendants of Cain, but between the “sons of God” and the “daughters of men.”  Furthermore, only the daughters of Cain were involved—not the sons, and there is no indication of anything but traditional sexuality—definitely no reference to homosexuality with the Fallen Ones.  While Genesis 6:12 acknowledges that “all flesh” is corruptible (and subject to passion”, St. Augustine noted (Aurelius Augustine,The City of God (Edinburgh: T. & T. Clark, 1949), Transl. Marcus Dods) precisely:“Like the gods they have corporeal immortality, and passions like human beings.” The major problem is that the angels in the Old Testament were “Sons of God” (Job 2:1), but in the New Testament are “Servants of God”, and sex is not involved.  There is no reference to specific limitations on marriage—just that a person is to “sin no more” or encounter “strange flesh.”

The last point here is critical.  If Jesus was the Son of God, as many (but not all) fourth century Christians claimed, he would have been tempted by the flesh, had a girl friend, and following Jewish custom, would have married and had children.  Jesus did none of these things.  Instead, the Jesus of the New Testament had no girl friend nor girlfriends, never married (quite strange in during that time, and would led to a family and public rebuking), had 72 male disciples (it is recorded only in Luke 10:1–24; the number is in dispute, between 70 and 72, as The King James, New King James, and the New American Standard Bible read that Jesus “sent forth 70 disciples,” while the New International Version, The Jerusalem Bible, and the New Living Translation reflect that Jesus “sent forth 72 disciples”.  The difference is found in Nestle’s Novum Testamentum Graece, where the Greek word However, immediately following this word is the Greek word δύο or “duo” in brackets (duo) and must be translated “two.” Footnotes of several translations indicate that the Greek manuscripts are divided between 70 and 72 as the number sent out and there is no way to be sure of which one is the original. Both represent the number of nations in the world in Genesis 10, with the Hebrew text having 70 names while the Greek text has 72) and stayed with twelve men (only one who was married but never was with his wife: Peter according to the Bible (Matthew 8:14), but early Church Fathers claimed that all were married except “John the Beloved of Jesus” who “remained chaste for Jesus”; cf. http://www.ewtn.com/vexperts/showresult.asp?RecNum=489266&Forums=0&Experts=0&Days=2006&Author=&Keyword=apostles+were+married&pgnu=1&groupnum=0&record_bookmark=1&ORDER_BY_TXT=ORDER+BY+ReplyDate+DESC&start_at=; Saul of Tarsus/St. Paul was never married: 1 Corinthians 9:5), and let another man (John the Beloved) lay his head on his chest {John 13:25 and 21:20}, who

St. John rests his head on the chest of Jesus

Jesus allowed to rest his head there “because he loved him”—as he had loved the brother of Mary and Martha who died but after he was restored to life disappeared—when John enters into Jesus community as being “born again” {John 11:1-44}), and have a nude youth follow him out of the Garden of Gethsemane on the Mount of Olives (Mark 14:51-52 that is a revision of the Expulsion from the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve were expelled).  These are marks of a

servant—which is emphasized in Jesus’ ultimate speech where he prays (cf. Luke 11:2) that “this cup” (of impending death) be removed—a power that, as the Son of God, he would have been able to do, as the Advocate (Satan) noted in the Temptation in the Desert—but which Jesus rejected as would a faithful servant.

Jesus made no statement on marriage throughout his three-year career as a teacher (http://preachersfiles.com/jesus-teaching-on-marriage-and-divorce/).  Neither did his disciples nor apostles. He had no quarrel with women; he had no interest in what people did privately provided they did not go against trust, charity, or the spirit of the law (Matthew 19:9).

Council of Nicaea 325 CE (Constantine I, depicted twice on the vertical axis of the icon, seated on an elevated throne above and below, standing on a pedestal in conversation with St. Nicholas, flanked by the Bishops in attendance, St. Alexander of Alexandria, who presided over the council, kneeling to the left and praying to the image of the youthful Christ under a baldachin, standing to the right of Constantine, Arius and his followers, identifiable by their lack of halos, in the lower right corner)

These acts brought into question the very divinity—an argument that tore apart the Christian community until the Emperor Constantine stepped in to the argument in the fourth century CE and formed his Christian Church when he called the Council of Nicaea to iron out their differences.  Chief among these “heresies” was Arianism. Arianism was a major heresy that arose in the fourth century and denied the divinity of Jesus Christ.  First effectively advanced by Arius (256-336), a priest of Alexandria, who denied that there were three distinct divine Persons in God, Arius saw most of the early Fathers turn to favor his position; in fact, Eusebius of Caesarea (who wrote the first fifty copies of the bible under the direct order of the Emperor Constantine, was an Arian, and the bishop who baptized the emperor on his deathbed (against the will of the emperor) was also an Arian). For Arius, there was only one Person, the Father. According to Arian theory, the Son was created (“There was a time when he was not”). Christ was thus a son of God, not by nature, but only by grace and adoption. This theory logically evacuates the doctrine of the Incarnation of God in Christ of all meaning: if God did not become man, then the world has not been redeemed and the faith itself eventually dissolves.

In 321, Arius was denounced by a synod at Alexandria for teaching a heterodox view of the relationship of Jesus to God the Father. Because Arius and his followers had great influence in the schools of Alexandria—counterparts to modern universities or seminaries—their theological views spread, especially in the eastern Mediterranean.

By 325, the controversy had become significant enough that the Emperor Constantine called an assembly of bishops, the First Council of Nicaea, that formally condemned Arianism and, under imperial pressure, formulated and promulgated the Nicene Creed.  Arianism, however, did not disappear as the emperor’s son and heir was an Arian, and Arianism was furthered by Anomeanism which was a radical variant of Arianism that held that the Son was “unlike” (Greek: animoios) the Father.

The letter ascribed to Jude, the brother of Jesus, brought many back to the original meaning: indicating that the sexual dimension of Sodom’s sin involved going after “flesh” (Greek: σάρκα transliterated as sarkos) that was “different/strange” (Greek: ἕτερος transliterated as heteras)–of nonbelievers or Fallen ones–and that the ultimate sin was lack of charity and friendship.  The word “homosexual” does not exist anywhere in the text, nor does “same-sex.”  “Homosexual” does not appear before the end of the nineteenth century, and “same-sex” relationships are not defined before the twentieth century. To find the word “homosexual” in a Bible is easy with the numerous modern editions published by various sects and cults, but it does not appear in any of the original documents.  The words “homosexual” and “same sex” are inserted words in numerous contemporary erroneously bad editions and have led to the rise of hatred for people, the drive to execute LGBT members in the most diabolical nations on this planet from Uganda and Nigeria to the USA.  At the same time it has led to the creation of a separation of people worse than what the German people did when Adolf Hitler rose to power and the Christian

churches celebrated the destruction of Jewish synagogues (Kristallnacht), arrest of women, children, elderly and babies and festivals given on news of the Jews mass extermination (Reichskristallnacht, Pogromnacht, and Novemberpogrome), with the Roman Catholic church, the Lutheran (official) Church of Germany, the Adventists, Jehovah’s Witnesses and other evangelicals celebrating publicly and in private.  Ninety-one Jews were killed and 30,000 Jewish men—a quarter of all Jewish men in Germany—were taken to concentration camps, where they were tortured for months, with over 1,000 of them dying. Around 1,668 synagogues were ransacked, and 267 set on fire (“‘German Mobs’ Vengeance on Jews,” The Daily Telegraph, November 11, 1938, cited in Gilbert, Martin (2006). Kristallnacht: Prelude to Destruction. Harper Collins, p. 42).

Translation: With Luther and Hitler for faith and nationality (Poster of the Saxon Bishop Friedrich Coch and Nazis, which illustrates the "church struggle" of the German national socialist-minded Christians and the Confessing Church in 1933 in Saxony. The Dresden Frauenkirche in the Nazi era became a focal point of confrontation between the "German Christians" and the "Confessing Church". The parish staff was split.)

This evil not only impregnated the German Reich but spread like a thunderous virus into Austria where in Vienna alone 95 synagogues or houses of prayer were destroyed (loc. cit., pp. 30-33) and the Roman Catholic, Protestant and evangelical clergy celebrated the destruction in a manner almost as nefarious as the encouragement of genocide of homosexuals in Nigeria by the pseudo-pastor Scott Lively and would-be but unlicensed psychologist Marcus Bachmann of Minnesota, husband of Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (both are Lutherans and celebrate the writings of the spiritual grandfather of Adolf Hitler and the Lutheran church in Germany) whose xenophobia is worse than any Nazi who breathed from 1939-1945.

Bishop Martin Sasse, a leading Protestant churchman, published a compendium of Martin Luther’s writings shortly after the Kristallnacht; Sasse “applauded the burning of the synagogues” and the coincidence of the day, writing in the introduction, writing: “On November 10, 1938, on Luther’s birthday, the synagogues are burning in Germany.”   Sasse urged the German people to heed these words “of the greatest anti-Semite of his time [Martin Luther], the warner of his people against the Jews” (read: Bernd Nellessen, “Die schweigende Kirche: Katholiken und Judenverfolgung,” in Büttner (ed), Die Deutschen und die Judenverfolgung im Dritten Reich, p. 265; the German evangelicals were the strongest supporters of Hitler’s murderous programs as exists identically in the USA with the insanity of Iowa’s self-proclaimed prophet-pastor and former coach Robert Vander Plaats who leads the charge against those who do not share his concept of god nor accept his diktat on the correct lifestyle in a Kingdom of God that Vander Plaats terms FAMiLY [sic].) Diarmaid MacCulloch argued that Luther’s 1543 pamphlet Von den Jüden und jren Lügen (On the Jews and Their Lies) was a “blueprint” for the Kristallnacht (MacCulloch, Diarmaid (2004). Reformation: Europe’s House Divided, 1490-1700. New York: Penguin Books Ltd, 2004, pp. 666-667).

From Martin Luther to Adolf Hitler

On November 15, just days after the initial pogrom was started by the Nazis, Evangelical Lutheran Bishop Sasse distributed a pamphlet entitled Martin Luther on the Jews: Away with Them! (Martin Luther über die Juden: Weg mit Ihnen!).  In this tract the German Lutheran bishop reprinted excerpts from Luther’s notorious 1543 pamphlet, Against the Jews and Their Lies, urging the destruction of Jewish property (cf. http://jewishquarterly.org/issuearchive/article6524.html?articleid=452).  Rejoicing in the terrorism of the Nazis in the early years of the twentieth century, identical to the call for the execution of homosexuals in Nigeria, Uganda, Liberia, and other intolerant African nations by Scott Lively and other far-right evangelical extremists in the USA, Bishop Stasse claimed that Kristallnacht was fulfilling the goals of Luther; the Nazis were acting as Christians.  Luther’s psychology has been studied by numerous professionals, but the most succinct reads:

(On the “Jewish Question” and Luther which can be compared with Hitler, see: http://www.sgipt.org/sonstig/metaph/luther/judens.htm) The continuing assault on homosexuals and those seeking same-sex marriages in the wasteland of Iowa and other backward states in the USA under the grip of theological terrorists from Wisconsin’s Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) and Indiana to New Jersey and Florida, Sasse, held to a strict literalist interpretation of scripture and not only opposed the Jews, but those who committed adultery, were homosexuals, and read, saw, or even printed pornography, his arguments now used by Iowa’s self-proclaimed defender of the family, Robert Vander Plaats and other dangerous demagogues in the

USA.  The fact that Iowa and other radical right states take no action against the incendiary invocations of Vander Plaats and his rabid army of Christian defenders, makes Iowa and other states complicit in future assassinations of LGBT communities and other marginalized groups: their governors and legislators must be held accountable for their people’s crimes against humanity and each legislator who does not raise his or her voice against Vander Plaats and similar miscreants are no better than those who remained silent during the purge and putsche of Adolf Hitler.

Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Minneapolis MN

So popular was the German Luther, that until July 2011, presidential candidate Michele Bachmann praised her radical WELS church and the writings of Martin Luther before abandoning it in favor of political opportunism.  Martin Luther’s treatise On the Jews and their Lies (1543), exercised a major and persistent intellectual influence upon the German practice of anti-Semitism against Jewish citizens and has led to numerous members in the WELS to enter the KKK and USA version of the Nazi Party.

The Nazis in Hitler’s Germany publicly displayed an original of On the Jews and their Lies during the annual Nuremberg rallies, and the city presented a first edition of it to Julius Streicher, the editor of Der Stürmer, which described Luther’s treatise as the most radically anti-Semitic tract ever published (cp. Michael, Robert (2006). Holy Hatred: Christianity, Antisemitism, and the Holocaust. New York: Palgrave Macmillan, 2006, chapter 4 “The Germanies from Luther to Hitler,” pp. 105–151; and Hillerbrand, Hans J. “Martin Luther,” in Encyclopaedia Britannica, 2007. Hillerbrand writes: “[H]is strident pronouncements against the Jews, especially toward the end of his life, have raised the question of whether Luther significantly encouraged the development of German anti-Semitism. Although many scholars have taken this view, this perspective puts far too much emphasis on Luther and not enough on the larger peculiarities of German history”).

Heinrich Himmler

Schutzstaffel (SS) Chief Heinrich Himmler, initially a supporter of, defended Ernst Röhm — the homosexual leader of the Sturmabteilung (SA [Brown Shirts]) after the Nazis the Nazi Party purged the homophile clubs of LGBT Berliners. In keeping with the writings of Luther and other evangelicals, Hitler outlawed academic and pornographic sexual publications in a manner that Iowa’s Vander Plaats has copied for his infamous “Contract” for Tea Party and conservative GOP presidential candidates to sign—a contract that Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum rushed to sign with a fervor greater than any Nazi known while Hitler lived.

Divorce - Marriage rate comparison in USA

Following the spirit and law of Hitler, Vander Plaats whose extremist speechifying has barked out orders to outlaw all pornography, re-establish the mythological family in Christianity—a family where there are twice as many divorces as there are marriages, and end homosexuality in the same manner that occurred in March 1933, when Kurt Hiller, the organizer of Magnus Hirschfeld’s Institut für Sexualwissenschaft(Institute of Sex Research), was imprisoned to a concentration camp. Vander Plaats supporters in private “schools” such as the Pella, Iowa “Christian school”, like the Hitler Youth, began their attacks in private, in imitation of that fateful day of 6 May 1933, when Hitler Youth members attacked the Institute of Sex

The Pope as the Whore of Babylon, as portrayed in a woodcut by Martin Luther's friend and artist, Lucas Cranach, September 1522.

Research and publicly incinerated its library and archives in the streets, are irrational panic-mongering mercenaries in Vander Plaats’ xenophobic army in a wacky exercise in revisionist history by claiming that basic rights have never been guaranteed in the USA.  Bachmann’s pastor requested that the presidential candidate in the USA leave the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church for fear that its controversial stand (its pastor, who no longer accepts calls from the media or researchers and requires his secretary to ask all callers the nature of their inquiry and their church affiliation as if the secretary was the Grand Inquisitor, claims that the Pope is the anti-Christ which the church claims is Biblical {as did Martin Luther, but has no foundation when reading Matthew 16:18}and holds the former German monk Martin Luther as being divinely inspired { http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2011/07/michele-bachmanns-church-says-the-pope-is-the-antichrist/241909/}, a view Mrs. Bachmann publicly claims she does not hold as she “loves Catholics”) could hurt her chances to win the presidency and thus restore the USA to being a Protestant Christian nation (http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/bachmann-left-church-at-pastors-request-official-says/2011/07/15/gIQAfGGuGI_story.html?wprss=).  Although Bachmann and her family had stopped attending the church in 2009, it was not until June 21, 2011, that her name was formally withdrawn from its membership roles.

Book burning in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

The Nazis of the Third Reich, being prototypes for FAMiLY functionaries and supporters in Iowa and South Dakota, including the Bachmanns and Santorum, destroyed some 20,000 books and journals, as well as some 5,000 images. They also seized the Institute’s rosters of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender patients.  After the Night of the Long Knives, Hitler promoted Himmler, who then zealously suppressed homosexuality, saying: “We must exterminate these people root and branch … the homosexual must be eliminated” (Plant, Richard (1986), The Pink Triangle: the Nazi war against homosexuals. New York: H. Holt, p. 99).  In 1936, Himmler established the “Reichszentrale zur Bekämpfung der Homosexualität und Abtreibung” (“Reich Central Office for

Vander Plaats' website (see the final entry) and compare it with Hitler's printed propaganda

the Combating of Homosexuality and Abortion”). The Nazis officially declared that homosexuality was contrary to “wholesome popular sentiment”, identifying gay men as “defilers of German blood” (this is the same argument used by Robert Vander Plaats who equates all sexual diseases from STDs to HIV and AIDS to homosexual activity, although medical science shows that no one, heterosexual or homosexual, is immune to the equal opportunity viruses, and makes Vander Plaats crusade for dollars easier as most Iowans remain ignorant of medical fact because of evangelicals misuse of scripture that none can read in the original Attic Greek). The Nazi régime incarcerated some 100,000 homosexuals during the 1930s (Bennetto, Jason (1997-11-01). “Holocaust: Gay activists press for German apology”. The Independent at  http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4158/is_/ai_n14142669), with concentration camp prisoners, homosexual men were forced to wear pink triangle badges (cp. Pretzel, Andreas (2005). “Vom Staatsfeind zum Volksfeind. Zur Radikalisierung der Homosexuellenverfolgung im Zusammenwirken von Polizei und Justiz”. In Zur Nieden, Susanne (2005). Homosexualität und Staatsräson. Männlichkeit, Homophobie und Politik in Deutschland 1900-1945. Frankfurt/M.: Campus Verlag, p. 236).  It is interesting to note that Hitler used the Bible and Martin Luther to define marriage—and like Martin Luther, Hitler had no idea of what the Bible really said—as he was busy reading Martin Luther’s “translation” of the scriptures that had little in common with the original scrolls and texts, and nothing in common with the Codex Vaticanus, which is one of the oldest extant manuscripts of the Greek Bible (Old and New Testament and is dated, palaeographically, to the 4th century CE; there major differences in the two

codex and other codices, for Codex Bezae (written in the sixth century and has been used for centuries to argue that Jesus was Cesar, see: http://www.carotta.de/subseite/echo/tumult-e.html although the Greek characters do not come through easily) says that Jesus was angry, rather than compassionate {Codex Sinaticus}, when he healed a leper (Mark 1.41). The Sinaiticus omits “For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever” from the Lord’s Prayer; and are words that Protestants add to the end of the Lord’s Prayer, as with Martin Luther and evangelicals) and the Codex Sinaiticus (Hebrew: קודקס סינאיטיקוס‎, Greek: Σιναϊτικός Κώδικας) which is an ancient, handwritten copy of the Greek Bible written in the fourth century CE.

NOM's original president Maggie Gallagher speaking at the Cato Institute, February 17th 2010

Contrary to Maggie Gallagher who was the original founder for the National Organization for Marriage (its oversight committee includes Chuck Stetson who is Chairman of the Board, Bible Literacy Project that has as its purpose to put the Christian Bible in all classrooms public and private and educate teachers as its authenticity, reliability and historicity), Luis Tellez (President, Witherspoon Institute Board of Trustees to promote traditional marriage, wants divorce illegal, and works against stem cell research and other scientific issues) and others, and who has spoken out that the Bible demands that marriage is between one man and one woman–that is not true anywhere in the Bible.  The word “marriage” is found only as a reference to sexual union without gender specification.

Michele and Marcus Bachmann: Mentality and Mental Illness

Marcus Bachmann husband of Michele Bachmann the congresswoman has such a high staff turnover and small inner-circle, Marcus Bachmann is his wife’s closest confidant. Another former staffer said the congresswoman didn’t talk about her husband much, but that he called the office almost every day, sometimes as many as three times a day.

Bachmann’s credentials are nearly nonexistent. His education from Union College (located in Cincinnati, Ohio—a school he never physically attended) was on-line, and at the time he received his PhD (it is in interdisciplinary studies, and not in psychology as he states) was unaccredited (the doctorate in psychology was denounced by the US Department of Education in 2004 as being false, a condemnation that the school’s administrators passed on to their “graduates”—which Bachmann elected to ignore). He is not registered with any of the three boards that certify mental health practitioners and professions in the state. The Minnesota Board of Psychology and the Board of Marriage and Family Therapy confirmed to POLITICO that Bachmann is not licensed with them. And a search of the Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy license database returns no result. (Read more: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0711/58291_Page2.html#ixzz1RRNvTtE3.)

Trisha Stark, of the Minnesota Psychological Association, said that the title “clinical therapist” is not widely used in professional circles and that Bachmann is able to operate his clinic because of state rules regarding mental health practice. “Minnesota is one of the only states in which you can practice mental health without a license,” Stark said. As various news agencies and reporters have discovered, the Bachmann and Associates office declined to comment on his professional credentials, and the campaign did not respond to requests for comment. (Read: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0711/58291_Page2.html#ixzz1RRO95tN8)

In 2006, City Pages, a Minneapolis alternative weekly, reported on a 2005 presentation that Dr. Bachmann delivered at the Grace Church in Eden Prairie titled “The Truth About the Homosexual Agenda,” during which he introduced three people as “former homosexuals” as proof that sexual orientation is a choice—although he offered no proof that any of the “ex-gays” had ever been homosexual except in thought. That same article also reported that Bachmann & Associates, the Christian counseling center he runs, practiced “reparative therapy,” a method of converting homosexuals to heterosexuality often called “praying away the gay.”

In 2010, in an interview last year with a Christian-radio talk show, Marcus Bachmann, a therapist who runs a faith-infused counseling center here, compared homosexuals to “barbarians” who “need to be educated, need to be disciplined.”  This follows the Wisconsin Evangelical Synod of the Lutheran church, a sect that rabidly follows the most hate-filled writings of Martin Luther after 1543.

Dr. Bachmann’s strong anti-gay views would hardly be noteworthy outside of the suburban towns marked with water towers in the St. Croix Valley, except that his wife, Rep. Michele Bachmann, is suddenly the hottest commodity in the Republican presidential field. She has staffed up with professional consultants, but her husband of 32 years plays a central role. Dr. Bachmann, who recently called himself his wife’s “strategist,” has acted as her media planner, traveling assistant and even personal shopper. They share a bond born of a mutual religious awakening in high school and college, a deep faith in an especially conservative form of Lutheranism, and a common abhorrence of homosexuality.

Marcus Bachmann (long-suspected homosexual) husand of Michele Bachmann

While Michele Bachmann has repeatedly spoken out against federal subsidies, Marcus Bachmann has taken over $137,000 in federal Medicaid payments. Bachmann press secretary Alice Stewart issued a statement Wednesday contending that it “would be discriminatory” for the clinic to turn away Medicaid patients. She says Marcus Bachmann’s business, which is sectarian (http://www.bachmanncounseling.com/) and not open to public scrutiny nor non-Christians (http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-bachmann-20110626,0,1896024.story) has the responsibility to provide the care “regardless of a patient’s financial situation.” (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/06/29/michele-bachmann-medicaid-funds_n_887107.html; ref. http://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/michele-bachmanns-husband-shares-her-strong-conservative-values/2011/06/21/gIQAyNmvzH_story.html) with Michele not reporting $24,000 coming from the State of Minnesota of it on her federal financial disclosure forms required by federal law (http://openchannel.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/06/28/6968201-bachmanns-husband-got-137000-in-medicaid-funds). The Minnesota Department of Human Services paid Marcus $160,000 for his sectarian counseling.

There is the perennial question: Is Marcus Bachmann gay? There are numerous responses: such as the video at http://www.truthwinsout.org/blog/2010/09/10923/ that comes with the label “no comment”.  Marcus’ hostility towards homosexuals borders distinctly on a suppressed desire to execute homosexuals (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jrn8y_tX3no) as did Hitler following the advice of Martin Luther.  That Marcus Bachmann may be repressing his own homosexual identity, read: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=single-angry-straight-male. As an obsessive compulsive mental disorder, read: http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Obsessive-Compulsive-Disorder-OCD-/HOCD-or-repressed-homosexuality/show/965144).

What Marcus Bachmann, like his wife, Michele Bachmann, shows is classic xenophobia that is now a diagnosable and treatable mental illness (http://www.medindia.net/patients/patientinfo/xenophobia-symptoms-diagnosis.htm and the American Psychological Association’s judgment on xenophobia read: http://www.apa.org/about/governance/council/policy/racism.aspx; the American Psychiatric Association’s report on xenophobia is at http://www.experiencefestival.com/a/Xenophobia/id/579231). Michele’s mental illness is far more acute, as seen in the police report she made when she hallucinated that she was being “held captive” by two women whom she believed were lesbians—but with investigation there was no kidnapping or involuntary captivity.  Michele’s distortion of what happened is a classic case of self-repression and self-hatred, as discussed here: http://www.opposingviews.com/i/scientific-proof-homophobia-linked-to-repressed-homosexuality.   Here is the full police report:

Bachmann Report 5

What is unique to some but well-known to the Bachmanns, is that if you substitute the word “homosexual” for the word “Jew” in the writings of Martin Luther (On the Jews and Their Lies), you have the very message given by Marcus Bachmann a Lutheran of the Wisconsin Synod of the Lutheran Church: the most radical and hate-filled synod within the Lutheran communion in the USA.

"On the Jews and their Lies" by Martin Luther

As Bernhard Rust served as Minister of Education in Nazi Germany, wrote:  Since Martin Luther closed his eyes, no such son of our people has appeared again. It has been decided that we shall be the first to witness his reappearance…. I think the time is past when one may not say the names of Hitler and Luther in the same breath. They belong together; they are of the same old stamp [Schrot und Korn]. —Volkischer Beobachter, 25 Aug. 1933.  Substitute “homosexual” for “Jew” in this famous Luther quotation: “Learn from this, dear Christian, what you are doing if you permit the blind Jews to mislead you. Then the saying will truly apply, “When a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into the pit” [cf. Luke 6:39]. You cannot learn anything from them except how to misunderstand the divine commandments…” and from the same book, by Martin Luther: “Therefore be on your guard against the Jews, knowing that wherever they have their synagogues, nothing is found but a den of devils in which sheer self-glory, conceit, lies, blasphemy, and defaming of God and men are practiced most maliciously and veheming [vehemently] his eyes on them.”

"Judensau" by Martin Luther his concept of Christian compassion

Consider also, Martin Luther’s rant: “But for us Christians they stand as a terrifying example of God’s wrath” coupled with “Alas, it cannot be anything but the terrible wrath of God which permits anyone to sink into such abysmal, devilish, hellish, insane baseness, envy, and arrogance. If I were to avenge myself on the devil himself I should be unable to wish him such evil and misfortune as God’s wrath inflicts on the Jews, compelling them to lie and to blaspheme so monstrously, in violation of their own conscience. Anyway, they have their reward for constantly giving God the lie.” Also: “…but then eject them forever from this country. For, as we have heard, God’s anger with them is so intense that gentle mercy will only tend to make them worse and worse, while sharp mercy will reform them but little. Therefore, in any case, away with them!” Finally, Luther preys: “My essay, I hope, will furnish a Christian (who in any case has no desire to

Christian theologians and Adolf Hitler

become a Jew) with enough material not only to defend himself against the blind, venomous Jews, but also to become the foe of the Jews’ malice, lying, and cursing, and to understand not only that their belief is false but that they are surely possessed by all devils. May Christ, our dear Lord, convert them mercifully and preserve us steadfastly and immovably in the knowledge of him, which is eternal life. Amen.” (The 1543 original is Von den Jüden und jren Lügen; an English translation is available: Luther, Martin, On the Jews and Their Lies, translated by Martin H. Bertram, Fortress Press, 1955.)

Luther and Hitler had strict policy towards Jews (as Bachmann has towards LGBT people):

Painting commissioned by Hitler of Luther

(1) for Jewish synagogues [gay churches and synagogues according to Bachmann] and schools to be burned to the ground, and the remnants buried out of sight;

(2) for houses owned by Jews [gays according to Bachmann] to be likewise razed, and the owners made to live in agricultural outbuildings;

(3) for their religious writings [Bachmann demands that all gay-tolerant writing, apologetic, fiction, and so forth] to be taken away [and with Bachmann, destroyed];

(4) for rabbis [gay leaders in Bachmann’s denunciation] to be forbidden to preach, and to be executed if they do;

(5) for safe-conduct on the roads to be abolished for Jews;

(6) for usury to be prohibited, and for all silver and gold to be removed and “put aside for safekeeping” [Bachmann wants higher taxes for LGBTs, but argues that LGBTs should be required to pay higher interest rates claiming that LGBT people are not good credit risks]; and

Luther's legacy for the Jews as seen in Poland and Europe

(7) for the Jewish population to be put to work as agricultural slave labor [Bachmann would deny LGBT people jobs especially as teachers and in the professions]. (Cf. Michael Robert (2006). Vander Plaats and Bachmann (Des Moines IA Register)

Marcus Bachmann is more idiotic than Iowa’s Robert Vander Plaats, arguably a closeted homosexual, who argues that homosexuality was equal to second-hand smoke. Vander Plaats has long been preaching hatred against the LGBT community, leading a drive to unseat the Iowa Supreme Court that voted unanimously to recognize that all LGBT people have inalienable rights including the right to marriage and maintain a recognized family under the laws of Iowa.  The photo used was in the Des Moines, Iowa Register, but was removed from the internet on July 8, 2011 at 10:41 a.m. for fear of it costing subscriptions among the radical right and Vander Plaats conservative evangelical extremists.  It was captured for this blog within seconds after the removal as a thumbnail. This blogger will not be intimidated nor silenced, as freedom of speech is still guaranteed in the US Constitution regardless of what the radical right roars, http://www.truthwinsout.org/blog/2011/04/16017/  and one wonders if both men protest too much (http://andrewsullivan.thedailybeast.com/2011/07/separated-at-birth.html; cp. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8772014 with a unique showing of Marcus’ pronounced lisp http://jamesurbaniak.tumblr.com/post/7109330429/its-pretty-much-a-given-that-the-most).

Marcus and Michele Bachmann at New Hampshire political rally 2011

Like Iowa’s Vander Plaats, the Bachmanns’ attack on same-sex marriage is xenophobic.  Xenophobia is among the most dangerous form of mental illness, as all respected professional organizations have noted, for irrational fear leads to irrational behavior, and when it comes to homosexuality, homophobia is predominate among those with the strongest latent tendencies (and they have the greatest fixation on homosexual pornography, lifestyle, and actions, with homophobic men showed an increase in penile erection to male homosexual stimuli (read:  Adams, H.E., Wright, L.W. Jr., Lohr, B.A., (1996).  “Is homophobia associated with homosexual arousal,” in Journal of Abnormal Psychology (August; 105(3):440-445) cf. Barnat, J.A., Calhoun, K.S., Adams, H.E., Zeichner, A. The American Psychological Association, the American Psychiatric Association, and the National Association of Social Workers state:  “There is no scientific basis for distinguishing between same-sex couples and heterosexual couples with respect to the legal rights, obligations, benefits, and burdens conferred by civil marriage.” (Read: http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/courts/supreme/highprofile/documents/Amer_Psychological_Assn_Amicus_Curiae_; on the positive effects of same-sex self-actualized relationships read: http://www.apa.org/pi/lgbt/resources/therapeutic-response.pdf; on sex and mental health read: http://www.apa.org/about/governance/council/policy/sexual-orientation.aspx). The fact is that all legitimate mental health groups endorse marriage equality, exposing another Marcus Bachmann lie that he is a mental health expert.  As for Marcus Bachmann using the Bible like Vander Plaats to condemn homosexuality, they should both read: Breen, M.S., (1997). “Narrative inversion: the biblical heritage of The well of loneliness and Desert of the heart,” Journal of Homosexuality 33(3-4):187-206.  Brown, A.B. Locke, K.A. (2004).  “The Bible on homosexuality: exploring its meaning and authority,” Journal of Homosexuality 48(2):125-156.  Furthermore, there is no evidence that a child having gay parents (two of the same gender, or two parents who are both gay but opposite genders) has any adverse affect on the child, contrary to the preachifications of Marcus Bachmann; read: Shiller, V.M. (2007). “Science and advocacy issues in research on children of gay and lesbian parents,” American Psychologist 62(7):712-713, and Telingator, C.J., Patterson, C. (2008).  “Children and adolescents of lesbian and gay parents,” Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry December;47(12):1364-1368. Patterson, C.J. (2009). “Children of lesbian and gay parents: psychology, law, and policy,” American Psychologist November;64(8):727-736; and, as noted in Patterson, C.J. (1992; an older study), “Children of lesbian and gay parents,” Child Development October 63(5):1025-1042, “there is no evidence that the development of children with lesbian or gay parents is compromised in any significant respect relative to that among children of heterosexual parents in otherwise comparable circumstances.”  This is reinforced by the review of Tasker, F. (2005) “Lesbian mothers, gay fathers, and their children: a review,” in Journal of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics June 26(3):224-240. In short, Marcus Bachmann is technically and unprofessionally qualified to be a counselor much less a psychologist anywhere, for he is neither current with contemporary psychological and psychiatric research and is doing more damage to people who are drawn to professionals in quest of discovering their real self and self-actualization.  Marcus Bachmann should be permanently removed from psychological rosters and prohibited for pretending to be a psychologist as he is destroying lives deliberately in an effort to promote his biblical ideas as if he were a pastor within the WELS.  Why the State of Minnesota permits this man to “practice” psychology.  The fact that Marcus Bachmann promotes himself as his wife’s “strategist” and “advisers” shows that he would ipso facto be the President of the USA if she were to win, and that democracy would end as both have wanted, claiming that the USA was founded as a theocracy (http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/cspanjunkie/congresswoman-bachmann-we-would-do-well cp. http://www.tnr.com/article/politics/90900/michele-bachmann-iowa-republican-nomination-speech-gop and http://www.laprogressive.com/election-reform-campaigns/god-bachmann/ also http://www.dailykos.com/story/2010/02/09/835334/-Michele-Bachmann-updateUSA-will-be-destroyed-if with a video at http://mediamatters.org/mmtv/200910060049; ref. http://4and20blackbirds.wordpress.com/2011/06/29/michele-bachmann-the-special-kind-of-crazy/ and compare my https://arthuride.wordpress.com/2011/06/28/michele-bachmanns-attack-on-us-history-constitution-minorities/ and http://crooksandliars.com/john-amato/michele-bachmann-hides-extremist-views-) a theocracy in which, on July 7, 2011, Michelle Bachmann signed Robert Vander Plaats, who parrots Adolf Hitler nearly verbatim (https://arthuride.wordpress.com/2011/06/01/martin-luther-adolf-hitler-bob-vander-plaats-and-iowa/ and https://arthuride.wordpress.com/2011/01/07/bob-vander-plaats-obsession-with-homosexuality/ cp. https://arthuride.wordpress.com/2010/11/13/bob-vander-plaats-and-the-rise-of-iowa-fascism/ and https://arthuride.wordpress.com/2011/01/05/bob-vander-plaats-and-the-rise-of-iowas-nazis/), document for FAMiLY to ban “all types of pornography” (such as a nude David by Michelangelo) that she is accustomed to seeing (http://caucuses.desmoinesregister.com/2011/07/07/update-bachmann-is-first-to-sign-family-leaders-pro-marriage-pledge/). What the Bachmanns and Vander Plaats ignore is the psychological studies, tests, and scientific investigations into the effects and affects of pornography.  Dr. Patrick Carnes (an internationally known speaker on addiction and recovery issues. He is the author of Out of the Shadows: Understanding Sexual Addiction (1983 reprinted 1992), a pioneer in sexual addiction research, has outlined four core beliefs common in most sexual addicts, with the emphasis on addiction being an uncontrollable need to feel satisfied emotionally, physically and/or sexually. Carnes received a Ph.D. in counselor education and organizational development from the University of Minnesota in 1980.  He works at Pine Grove Behavioral Center in Hattiesburg, MS, although he lives in Phoenix, AZ and travels between home and office.  He is a recovered sex addict, and uses himself as a role model and his most recent patient was golfer Tiger Woods.  Videos are at http://wn.com/Dr_Patrick_Carnes_%7C_What_Is_Addiction?_%7C_SexHelpcom. Carnes has his critics who are also specialists in addiction, and like Roger Libby, a relationship therapist in Seattle, WA notes, a person cannot be addicted to himself or herself—only to an external substance.  The main problem with Carnes is he has not kept notes on his studies or cures and thus they cannot be scientifically duplicated, repeated, or verified, which means that Carnes 12-step program is not scientific (see: http://topics.nytimes.com/topics/reference/timestopics/subjects/s/sexual_addiction/index.html). Addiction is a behavior to achieve the same results, and addiction can be anything from eating food to smoking, drinking, and so forth (http://psychcentral.com/lib/2006/what-is-sexual-addiction/). Sex addicts do not necessarily become sex offenders. Moreover, not all sex offenders are sex addicts. Roughly 55 percent of convicted sex offenders can be considered sex addicts.  sex offenders act not for sexual gratification, but rather out of a disturbed need for power, dominance, control or revenge, or a perverted expression of anger. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Psychiatric Disorders, Volume Four describes sex addiction, under the category “Sexual Disorders Not Otherwise Specified,” as “distress about a pattern of repeated sexual relationships involving a succession of lovers who are experienced by the individual only as things to be used.” According to the manual, sex addiction also involves “compulsive searching for multiple partners, compulsive fixation on an unattainable partner, compulsive masturbation, compulsive love relationships and compulsive sexuality in a relationship.” [I am using Diagnostisches und statistisches Manual psychischer Störungen, DSM-IV : übersetzt nach der vierten Auflage des Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders der American Psychiatric Association / deutsche Bearbeitung und Einführung von Henning Sass, Hans-Ulrich Wittchen, und Michael Zaudig ; redaktionelle Koordination, Isabel Houben. Göttingen ; Seattle : Hogrefe, Verlag für Psychologie, c1996; 4th volume is DSM-IV; the American Psychiatric Association, Diagnostic Critreia from DSM-IV, Washington, DC: The Association, c1994 is also available on a CD-ROM, ISBN 158562019X, version 1.0] It does not include pornography although pornography can create the desire especially in those who are openly homophobic and in these cases their goal is homosexual sex.

Defending the "traditional family" where more than 50% get divorced

Addictions usually result from growing up in a dysfunctional family, especially one with rigid rules and fundamental evangelical extremism in the area of religion and religious training, little warmth and affirmation, abandonment, and sexual or emotional abuse.  A rise in hostile actions against homosexuals can be traced primarily to hatred based on fear and self-righteousness and an eagerness to control others, especially what others see, read, say, and with whom they associate.  Psychoanalysts see the expression of anti-gay bias by men and women (who fear being around two or more women whom they do not know to be heterosexual, as is the case with Michele Bachmann) as being a way to reassure themselves that they are not homosexual or by organized hate groups such as Focus on the Family, FAMiLY (in Iowa), the return of the Inquisition in Christian churches, that like Michele and Marcus Bachmann ignore Proverbs 11:9 (http://www.bibble.org/gay/religious/nebraska_methodist_inquisition.html) and the KKK (cf. http://www.cyberpsych.org/homophobia/roughton.htm).

Michele’s Bachmann’s mental disorder (Ψυχολογίαλογία) her admission that she would “cure” the USA of its sins and restore [sic] it as a Christian nation, an obsessional neurosis that Sigmund Freud defined in 1984 in his Neuro-Psychoses of Defence that Pierre Janet used as the basis for his description of psychasthenia. Freud argued further that “the possibility that a chronological outstripping of libidinal development by ego development should be included in the disposition to obsessional neurosis. A precocity of this kind would necessitate the choice of an object under the influence of the ego-instincts, at a time when the sexual instincts had not yet assumed their final shape, and a fixation at the stage of the pregenital sexual organization would thus be left” (Freud, Sigmund (1913), The Disposition to Obsessional Neurosis: A Contribution to the Problem of Choice of Neurosis, in SE [Standard Edition of the Complete Works of Sigmund Freud, Translated from the German under the general editorship of James Strachey, in collaboration with Anna Freud, assisted by Alix Strachey and Alan Tyson. London, Hogarth Press [1953-74], 24 volumes;  12:311-326, p. 325; Freud uses the word Zwangsneurose which includes compulsive thought or obsessions as well as compulsive acts (Zwangshandlungen) as well as compulsive affects (Zwangsaffekte)  such as signing pledges limiting the right of choice for others). Thus, in the object relation, hate will precede love and “obsessional neurotics have to develop a super-morality in order to protect their object-love from the hostility lurking behind it” (p. 325). (http://www.pfaw.org/rww-in-focus/barton-s-bunk-religious-right-historian-hits-the-big-time-tea-party-america: it never was—nor founded as—a Christian nation), where eight-year-old John Quincy Adams worked tirelessly as president to end slavery in the USA (http://www.laprogressive.com/election-reform-campaigns/god-bachmann/), with much of her current political posturing comings from equally uninformed members of Congress like Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) who claimed that the GOP was responsible for civil rights legislation and measures to protect the environment (Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC), see the video). She supports David Barton, a pseudo-scholar, who claims that twentieth chapter of the book of Matthew (20:7-16:  λέγουσιν αὐτῷ· ὅτι οὐδεὶς ἡμᾶς ἐμισθώσατο. θέλω δὲ τούτῳ τῷ ἐσχάτῳ δοῦναι ὡς καὶ σοί· 15  οὐκ ἔξεστιν μοι ὁ θέλω ποιῆσαι ἐν τοῖς ἐμοῖς; ἢ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου πονηρός ἐστιν ὅτι ἐγὼ ἀγαθός εἰμι; 16 οὕτως ἔσονται οἱ ἔσχατοι πρῶτοι καὶ οἱ πρῶτοι ἔσχατοι.) about the owner of a vineyard making different arrangements with workers was about “the right of private contract” – in other words, the right of employers to come to individual agreements with each employee (Jesus is against collective bargaining according to this mythology). Jesus’ parable, Barton claims, is “anti-minimum wage” and “anti-socialist-union kind of stuff.”

Michele Bachmann endorses creationism and Intelligent Design and lies about what scientists say

Constantly she proves herself to be, like husband Marcus, a biblical illiterate, yet demands that the Bible is taught in public classrooms, along with Intelligent Design–that 17-year-old Zachary Kopplin proved her wrong, and received a letter signed by 43 Nobel Laureates in science denouncing the myth of ID (creationism).
