Scott Walker, Adolph Hitler, Unions and the Red States

The day after Labor Day, on 2 May 1933, Nazi groups occupied union halls and labor leaders were arrested.  Trade Unions were outlawed by Adolf Hitler ( and, while collective bargaining and the right to strike was abolished.  Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (who has no university degree and who education can be summarized as marginal), Ohio Gov. John Kaish, Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval, Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad, and other Red State governors repeat the move of Adolph Hitler and the Nazis by repeating the actions of the German dictator and mass murderer.   Lisa Graves, of PR Watch noted: “A new investigation by the Center for Media and Democracy documents the big money funneled by one of the richest men in America and one of the richest corporations in the world to put controversial Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker in office. Walker was elected just over three months ago on the heels of an exceptionally expensive gubernatorial race in the Badger State, fueled by groups funded by the Koch brothers, David and Charles. David Koch, the son of a radical founding member of the John Birch Society, which has long been obsessed with claims about socialism and advocated the repeal of civil rights laws, personally donated $1 million to the Republican Governors Association (RGA) in June of last year. The RGA in turn spent $5 million in the race, mostly on TV ads attacking Walker’s political opponent, Democratic Mayor Tom Barrett.”  This corporate giving was enhanced by Australian citizen and fellow billionaire Rupert Murdoch who matched Koch’s donation to the RGA with a $1 million donation from his company News Corporation, parent company of FOX “News” Channel (for the economic and ideological tie between Rupert Murdoch and the Koch Brothers and the distortion of Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal, see: where right-wing “blowhards” like Rush Limbaugh, Saen Hannity and Bill O’Reilly and other “personalities” condemning the Wisconsin unions belong to the American Federation Television and Radio Artists union (AFTRA), which is the AFL-CIO affiliate for television and broadcast workers: which first appeared at; AFTRA’s health care policy is at as for AFTRA having a contract with FOX News, the answer is no–it is not allowed but it does work with FOX news employees independently if they qualify for coverage).  The Center for Media and Democracy has been documenting on its SourceWatch site for several years how David Koch, the founder and chairman of a front group called Citizens for a Sound Economy, which received at least $12 million from the Koch Family Foundations and which is the predecessor of the group Americans for Prosperity continues to manipulate, buy and sell the American people and control their voting habits. (Read: and compare the Koch Brothers to Adolf Hitler at

Wailing that Wisconsin was faced with a budget shortfall, as Hitler did when faced with the declining German dollar and rising unemployment, Walker decreased state revenue when he enacted tax cuts for the rich and big corporations, who are not surprisingly large campaign donors for his political campaign–with the Koch brothers each giving him the maximum the law would allow ($15,000;

Koch Brothers

according to Cenk Uygur ( on MSNBC, the Kochs were in fact Walker’s fourth-largest donor during his 2010 campaign, giving him a total of $43,000 throughout 2010.  Now they’re getting exactly what they want out of Walker, including massive tax breaks and this effort to quash Wisconsin union workers’ rights.  What few people know is the greed of the Koch brothers: the company has been slashing jobs in Wisconsin as David and Charles Koch granted themselves an $11 billion pay raise;   At the same time, Governor Scott Walker moved to get those who helped him win the governorship large pay raises, as he did in 2008 when he gave an aide (Tom Nardelli) a 26% pay raise with a $35.700 pension ( In January 2011, Walker gave $117 million in tax breaks to businesses that “expanded”. As the New York Times noted:  “That was a choice lawmakers made, and had it not been for those decisions and a few others, according to the state’s Legislative Fiscal Bureau, the state would have had a surplus” (

Wisconsin Governor Scott WalkerAs for Walker’s concern over or for the people of Wisconsin, there is none. As one of his first acts as governor-elect, Walker made a high-profile, seemingly aggressive move when he rejected already-approved federal funding to build a high-speed train between Milwaukee and Madison. Outgoing Gov. Jim Doyle (D) said the rail-line would stimulate Wisconsin’s economy and create 5,500 jobs.  Walker balked at the plan, calling it too expensive and urged the federal government to redistribute the $810 million to road projects in other states. After refusing the federal funds the money was instead allocated to other states’ high-speed rail projects (Todd Richmond, “Wis. train supporters lament loss of federal funds,” Associated Press, Dec. 9, 2010).

Political advertisement denouncing Walker (he did not vote against the amendment, but voted to table it)

In the past Walker has come out against laws protecting minorities, women (he voted to “table” a Republican amendment to the budget bill that would deny women mammograms and cancel health insurance, but he did not vote against it), and union workers (especially teachers). One of Walker’s boldest moves was to allow the secretary of the state Department of Administration to sell the power plants, which primarily serve University of Wisconsin campuses, including those in Madison and Milwaukee, as well as state prisons and other facilities, without calling for bids. This would enable the Koch Brothers to monopolize energy resources in Wisconsin and increase energy rates for consumers at will without review. This is a change from a similar proposal that Republican lawmakers sought six years ago, the bill stripped a requirement that the Public Service Commission review whether the sale is in the public interest.  During their marathon debate on the budget-repair bill, Democrats unsuccessfully sought changes to the plants issue, including a requirement that competitive bids be sought and another to restore PSC review of the deals (

Adolf Hitler (l) and US Sen. Prescott Bush (R-CT) (r)

Like Walker’s richest backers (such as the Koch Brothers) Adolph Hitler depended on the financial support of Connecticut Republican United States Senator Prescott Bush for capital to build his death camps, to stop the unions in Germany from opposing his plans to enrich those obscenely wealthy  (cf. and; cp.,2933,100474,00.html, including the yet untold tale of the Bush family interested in Hitler’s eugenics program at; ref., and carrying out some of the darkest plans penned in history.

Walker, and his GOP counterparts, depended on the financial support and news media manipulation of David Koch and cronies at FOX News that regularly turns to Tea Party spokesman for commentary on the news, ignoring their lack of objectivity.  In a manner imitating that of Adolf Hitler, Scott Walker has been a congenital liar, and after his election in November 2010, his lies grew like imaginary magic beans–but not leading to any castle in the sky–but the building of an empire for himself while fabricating about what was happening in Wisconsin.

Wisconsin teachers demanding civil rights.

Walker continues to claim that the state is crippled economically by the unions, especially the teachers’ union and intensified his raw rhetoric when teachers came out against him and his proposed budget.  Walker’s solution to teachers demands was to call out the guard and have a row of police confront them.  Every major paper exposed this falsehood, for the unions agreed to concessions and even offered to pay into the state treasury.  As The Cap[ital] Times noted in an editorial:

To the extent that there is an imbalance — Walker claims there is a $137 million deficit — it is not because of a drop in revenues or increases in the cost of state employee contracts, benefits or pensions. It is because Walker and his allies pushed through $140 million in new spending for special-interest groups in January. If the Legislature were simply to rescind Walker’s new spending schemes — or delay their implementation until they are offset by fresh revenues — the “crisis” would not exist. (See:

Contrary to Walker’s fabrications, the Wisconsin governor did not inherit a budget that required a repair bill as the Wisconsin treasury is solvent(  but his lie won for him the support of the Wisconsin police as the Governor promised the state police that their jobs were secure.  Racine’s Democratic state Rep. Cory Mason noted, the governor’s bill was not designed with the purpose of getting the state’s finances in order but as “an assault on Wisconsin’s working families and political payback against unions who didn’t support Gov. Walker.”

Lawrence Textile Workers Strike

Walker did for a time consider bringing in police to “push back” the “demonstrators and unionists” in a manner similar to the Lawrence Textile Strike at the beginning of the Twentieth Century, and as Hitler did in the middle of the Twentieth Century in Germany.  Walker considers any opposition to his plans to “revamp” Wisconsin to be un-American using the rhetoric of  one-time Wisconsin Senator Joe McCarthy who saw every opponent as either a communist or a belligerent un-American activist.  Walker, with his Tea Party supporters following slavishly behind him, has continued to argue that the protests were demoralizing “Christian Americans” and rejected any suggestion that the unions’ objections were tantamount to what was happening in Egypt where the common man and woman opposed the government that had put limits on their collective bargaining and basic civil liberties.

Egypt supports the workers of Wisconsin

Wisconsin organized labor managed to abolish child labor all together, as well as institute an 8 hour work day, 40 hour work week, mandatory breaks, safety guidelines, grievance procedures, a minimum wage, the concept of a work free weekend, workers comp, pensions, health safeguards, and paid sick days, vacation days, and holidays.

Collective Bargaining in the United States was finally legalized for the private sector on a countrywide scale in 1935 with the National Labor Relations Act signed by FDR.  JFK signed an executive order extending this right to the public sector in 1962.  Today’s Tea Bag Republicans are every bit as dangerous and self-righteous as Hitler’s Nazis and the Tea Party has become the Brownshirts of the GOP which has but one goal: busting unions and having the corporate world take absolute control over the government which is part of the definition of fascism (along with authoritarian nationalism).

Support for Democratic Senators leaving Wisconsin to stop Walker's attack on unions.

When Wisconsin Democratic Senators fled the state to avoid voting against the people of Wisconsin, Scott Walker had a draconian plan in mind.  As he stated in a telephone interview during which the Governor explained how he was going to layoff thousands of Wisconsin workers as a tactic to get the Democrats to cooperate:  “So, we’re trying about four or five different angles. Each day we crank up a little bit more pressure. The other thing is I’ve got layoff notices ready, we put out the at-risk notices, we’ll announce Thursday, they’ll go out early next week and we’ll probably get five to six thousand state workers will get at-risk notices for layoffs. We might
ratchet that up a little bit too.” (  The state’s former Attorney General told the Capital Times: “There clearly are potential ethics violations, and there are potential election-law violations and there are a lot of what look to me like labor-law violations,” said Peg Lautenschlager, a Democrat who served as Wisconsin’s Attorney General after serving for many years as a U.S. Attorney. The head of the state teacher’s association, Mary Bell, reminds us: “He literally planned to use five to six thousand hardworking Wisconsin taxpayers as political pawns in his political game. He actually thought through a strategy to lay people off — deny them the ability to feed their families — and use it as leverage for his political goals.” ( and; cf.

Wisconsin state senator Jon Erpenbach

Senator Jon Erpenbach claimed that Democrats “had no choice” but to leave, and that at least 14 were no longer in Wisconsin.  He refused to comment on where they were, but said they were determined to leave Republicans without the three-fifths majority they would need for the vote to take place.

Those who oppose Walker or other Tea Bag Party officials at the state or national level are chartered for assassination by a new group of home-grown terrorists called Oath Keepers ( The Oath Keepers are one of the fastest-growing “patriot” organizations on the right having been founded  last April by Yale-educated lawyer and ex-Ron Paul aide Stewart Rhodes.  His paramilitary group, complete with assault weapons, has established itself as a hub in the sprawling anti-Obama movement that includes Tea Partiers, Birthers, and 912ers.  Nationally listened to hate mongers such as Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs, and Pat Buchanan have all sung its praises, and in December, a grassroots summit ( it helped organize drew such prominent guests as representatives Phil Gingrey (a medical doctor representing GA-11, who fears that Obamacare will bring about numerous “frivolous” lawsuits) and Paul Broun (GA-10; another MD who claimed that Obama would establish a Marxist dictatorship, and that the Center for Disease Control [CDC] was aiming to control all people in the USA and force them to eat fruits and vegetables; see: Evans, Ben (November 10, 2008). “Georgia congressman warns of Obama dictatorship”. Associated Press.,4675,CongressmanObamaMarxist,00.html), both Georgia Republicans.

Those who contributed to Walker’s campaign chest, like the Koch Brothers now reap a treasury of wealth both in money, preferments and government contracts (according to Wisconsin campaign finance filings, Walker’s gubernatorial campaign received $43,000 from the Koch Industries PAC during the 2010 election;  one prime example of Walker’s budget for the state is a benefit only for the wealthy: $48 million for private health savings accounts. A study from the federal Governmental Accountability Office showed the average adjusted gross income of HSA participants was $139,000 and nearly half of HSA participants reported withdrawing nothing from their HSA; the average USA citizen does not have an AGI of $139,000 a year).  It is the identical duplicity of Dick Armey of Texas who sponsored the Tea Party and the assault on democracy in the USA before the November 2010 elections (Dick Armey now chairs the astroturf group FreedomWorks, which was founded with Koch money).

Walker remains unmoved, as did Adolph Hitler, and insisted that curtailing the “power of public unions” and right to negotiate for fair wages and livable working conditions, is essential to curing the state’s budget shortfall, and threatening, as did Hitler, that public employees (1500 in Wisconsin) faced the risk being laid off–with the exemption of police and fire who had supported his gubernatorial bid (it has backfired, for the fire fighters have offered to give up pay increases to retain the right to collective bargaining; cf.  When a prankster during a phone conversation with the Wisconsin senator suggested planting “trouble-makers” among the protesters, the Wisconsin Governor admitted he “thought about that” but was convinced that the protests would be short-lived and get no real media coverage (

Walker’s plan to eviscerate collective bargaining rights for public employees is right out of the Koch brothers’ playbook. Koch-backed groups like Americans for Prosperity, the Cato Institute, the Competitive Enterprise Institute, and the Reason Foundation have long taken a very antagonistic view toward public-sector unions. Several of these groups have urged the eradication of these unions.  In Wisconsin, this conservative, anti-union view is being placed into action by lawmakers in sync with the deep-pocketed donors who helped them obtain power. (Walker also opposes the state’s Clean Energy Job Act, which would compel the state to increase its use of alternative energy.) At this moment—even with the Wisconsin uprising unresolved—the [David H. and Charles G.] Koch brothers’ investment in Walker appears to be paying off. (Andy Kroll, “Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker: Funded by the Koch Brothers,” Mother Jones at; cf. Eric Lipton, “Billionaire Brothers’ Money Plays Role in Wisconsin Dispute” 21 February 2011, New York Times at; cp.

It has never been hidden from any media that the Koch Brothers want an end to industrial regulations, a lowering of minimum wage, the ending of collective bargaining, ending the EPA and all climate control and environmental agencies ( as they attack Greenpeace and other advocacy groups trying to protect the environment, and the right to employ children at cheaper wages. These are the fodder for Iowa politics and other states where a few rule and the will of people are ignored. The most diabolical doyen of the Tea Party and most vocal admirer of the Koch Brothers is Fred Luber, chief executive of the Supersteel Products Corporation in Milwaukee, who serves on Americans for Prosperity’s Wisconsin state advisory board and has demanded the end of collective bargaining for steel workers.   Campaign finance records filed in Washington show that donations by Koch Industries and its employees (many who have testified that they were forced into contributing if they wanted to keep their jobs) climbed to a total of $2 million in the last election cycle, a figure that is more than double what it was in 2000.  The Koch Brothers have a wide range of topics they want to force on the American people. These goals include combating public health care, environmental regulations and spending by state and federal governments.  The effort to impose limits on public labor unions has been a particular focus in Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Iowa.

Conservative Tea Baggers are unabashed in calling out for the assassination of environmentalists, unionists, and those who argue for a living wage and better education.  The State of Indiana’s Attorney General Jeff Cox called protestors and demonstrators “political enemies” and “thugs” who were “physically threatening legally elected officials” who were attempting to end collective bargaining and human rights.  In response to the demonstrators who ranged from age 5 to 95, were of both genders and various degrees of physical abilities and handicaps, he said that the police had every right to shoot those who opposed GOP governors and GOP legislators who were trying to outlaw unions and basic civil rights.  Jeff Cox said, in an interview, “You’re damned right I advocate deadly force.”  ( No human life was important if it was the life of a union worker or anyone who opposed the Koch Brothers or the golden rule (He who has the gold makes the rule).  Cox, like Walker, has a single commandment: it is better to kill than to tolerate the opposition. As he wrote on his blog Pro Cynic [The] “sensible policy for handling Afghanistan,” he offered, could be summed up as: “KILL! KILL! ANNIHILATE!”  At the same time he declared that the police had every right to beat up any black teenager–equating all as “thugs”.

A similar travesty against human rights has eroded the legislative process in Iowa. Like their counterparts in Wisconsin, Iowa GOP legislators were busy hammering away at the rights of labor and the right to negotiate.  The Iowa GOP, now primarily in the control of Iowa Nazis and KKK, have tried to end all rights of labor.  Democrats fought back for the working people of Iowa, offering amendments to House Study Bill 117  that included a proposal to put off all changes in the collective-bargaining law until the issue could be thoroughly studied. Other amendments that were introduced by the Democrats would have let unions and government employers bargain over how managers would decide whom to lay off if there was budget trouble or fire if there was misconduct. One amendment proposed by Democrats would have given teachers’ unions the right to bargain over class sizes. Other amendments would have given unions the right to bargain over reimbursement for work clothes or over payment for mammograms, dental services or care for fibrous growths on kidneys. The Iowa GOP would not consider any of these.  Recognizing the attack on workers that was current in Wisconsin, Iowa Democrats, the minority in the House, would not allow such a travesty of inflict the state.  “We’re willing to go all night here, tomorrow, through the weekend, however long it takes,” Rep. Kirsten Running-Marquardt, D-Cedar Rapids, said Thursday evening.  Female Tea Baggers in the House had no concept of civility, nor the rules of governance. Instead of attempting to engage in constructive debate, Rep. Linda Miller, R- Bettendorf, ignored the Democrats and continued to play “hearts” card games on her computer. She propped her feet up on a chair and turned her back partway from the Democrats and their debating points in a manner matching other, better known, fascists who grew in number and strength in Nazi Germany with the dissolution of labor and negotiation rights under Hitler.  (

Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad

Iowa’s governor, Terry Branstad, is like most Tea Baggers: he lies and double-dips. Not only does the Iowa governor get a state pension of $50,000 for having been a governor of Iowa (1983-1999), he also collects the salary of $130,000 for being the current governor, not counting the money poured into his accounts from his race for governor to today’s wallet from the Koch Brothers.  Republicans excuse this double-dipping, noting that Branstad gave up a position at Des Moines University (osteopathic medical college) that was paying him $375,000 a year. (Branstad is one of Iowa’s most corrupt politicians. He easily selected one his largest donors for the Iowa Supreme Court: Thomas Waterman  ( and  Thomas Waterman contributed $7,500 to Branstad campaign chest and after the three sitting judges were ousted by Koch and outside Iowa money, Waterman’s name was placed before the new governor. Waterman had worked for Branstad when Branstad was sued over a line-item veto.

While the Tea Party’s GOP moved to end all public subsidies for children going to preschool at taxpayer expense if the parents could afford private schools, Governor Terry Branstad’s granddaughter goes to preschool at no charge through a state-supported program that Branstad says should not be open to parents who can afford the classes (  About four months after Terry Branstad said the universal preschool effort forces private preschools out of business and siphons money from other public education programs, his son

Eric Branstad

Eric (who killed two people [Charles E. McCullough, age 65 and his 60 year-old wife Jean M.] in a car “accident” in 1991 while driving ten miles over the speed limit while under the influence of alcohol; the “accident” is detailed at while his parents were in Seattle, WA) and his wife, Adrianne, enrolled their daughter in a school the grandfather denounced. Lawmakers who approved a plan to phase in universal preschool in 2007 billed it as a way to offer all 4-year-old children a jump-start on school at no charge to their parents.  Terry Branstad saw this as a form of socialism: leveling the playing field so that all Iowans were treated equitably and equally–an idea abhorrent to state Republicans.  A bill that would scrap universal preschool passed in the Republican-controlled Iowa House in January, but has stalled in the Democratic-controlled Senate; however, the Senate doesn’t have the votes to override a line-item veto by Gov. Terry Branstad if lawmakers pass an education budget that includes universal preschool, and his granddaughter could continue feeding at the public troth.

When it comes to unions in Iowa, Branstad wants to reopen all  union contracts and force through a pay increase freeze and gain additional concessions. Branstad claimed that the outgoing Governor Chet Culver was wrong to agree to union demands: “It’s unprecedented to just accept the union’s first demand without any negotiations,” he argued, noting that if the negotiations were not resumed and the unions offer concessions, he would be forced to implement layoffs of state workers–matching the rhetoric of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

What has been ignored by the conservative press is that the unions in Iowa voluntarily accept five unpaid furlough days and forgo deferred compensation payments to help the state weather a 10 percent across-the-board budget cut after state revenues plunged due to affects of the national recession.  This is not enough for Branstad who worried that the current contract gives those with seniority preference over new hires “because seniority rights usually mean that people who lose their jobs are the most-recent hires with the lowest paid, which means you have to lay off twice as many people” (; cp.  As the Daily Iowan noted:  “A recent study [] by researchers from the University of Kansas and University of Texas-Austin showed that removing collective-bargaining power and wage contracts creates greater income inequality than in sectors where workers salaries are protected.”

Earlier in 2011, Branstad issued an executive order forbidding state-funded construction to use project labor agreements, in which the buyer and the contractor agree to certain terms for the construction (including timeline and hiring issues).  Nullifying the agreement will have the largest consequences for local Iowa workers. “With a project labor agreement, we have the option to require that contractors hire workers in state,” said Cedar Rapids Mayor Ron Corbett. “But without a project labor agreement, we are required to accept the lowest bid.” This means that, without a project labor agreement, construction income could travel entirely out of the state if costs were low enough (  To further augment his nefarious design, Branstad’s budget proposal will cause a substantial decrease in revenue by cutting corporate income-tax rates in half and taxing new corporate building projects at only 60 percent of their valuation. By cutting taxes for corporations the individual Iowa taxpayer would have to make up the difference in lost tax revenue–the taxpayer already having a share that is a disproportionate amount of the state revenue burden and one of many reasons that young Iowans and older workers flee the state (  It is because of past assaults on labor when Branstad was governor that Iowa’ congressional representation began to decline as young Iowans left Iowa in droves (I remember living in Dallas in 1980 and went to visit a teacher who lived on Beltline Road at a new apartment complex. The educator told me that there were 100 new apartments to meet the needs of those coming into Texas.  The teacher pointed out the cars in the parking lot, everyone having an out-of-state license plate. Every license plate in the parking lot was from Iowa).

Blood Libel, Sarah Palin and the Tucson Massacre

The Anti-Defamation League, yesterday was asked by a relative of its founder “to condemn Sarah Palin’s remarks this morning against the media, in conjunction with the Arizona Shootings.”  The Anti-Defamation League was founded in 1913 “to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.”  It has spoken out against the lynching of Blacks, the rape of all women, against gay and lesbian bashing and murders, and against attacks on Semitic people.  Now it speaks out against the thoughtless and cruel comments of one-time/part-time Alaska ex-Governor Sarah Palin (for Alaskans viewpoint on their one-time governor, see: e-like-homein.html).

Sarah Palin; she resigned the governorship of Alaska to accept a job with Fox News

On the morning of January 12, 2011, Palin released a video attempting to defend her previous actions, including the release last year of an inflammatory map with crosshairs (normally used in gun and weapon assaults) targeting twenty House Democrats who voted for healthcare reform–a reform that Ms. Palin claims is not only unconstitutional but immoral, arguing that the rich will have to pick up health care for the “lazy and shiftless”. That map has been called out worldwide by a wide range of media, ranging from newspapers, talk shows on radio and coverage on television as well as journals, magazines and other print formats as a possible incitement to Saturday’s massacre that left six dead and over a dozen more gravely injured, including Congresswoman Gabby Giffords.

Palin, like many on the Right, has been unwilling or unable to see the connection between her hate speech and the resulting violence.  Palin, like Iowa’s Bob Vander Plaats is uniquely anti-Semitic and uses heated rhetoric to condemn those people who do not agree with her or lionize her actions and stands. Both Palin and Vander Plaats are evangelical Christians and the churches they attend call for the “conversion” of those who disagree, reject the concept that Jews are “children of God”, and libel Jews, Democrats, women who obtain abortions, and gays and lesbians as unworthy of consideration or inclusion in the mythical “great tent” of the GOP (which Vander Plaats and Palin has equipped is the acronym for God’s Own Party).

Bob Vander Plaats of Iowa opposes human and civil rights for all people

Adding to Palin’s refusal to take responsibility were her words on the twelfth of January 2011 about “blood libel.”  In the video she had made and posted on the internet, Palin says without equivocation or consideration, “journalists and pundits should not manufacture a blood libel [emphasis added] that serves only to incite the very hatred and violence they purport to condemn. That is reprehensible.” (See:

While Ms. Palin’s lack of education or knowledge of the meaning of words (as demonstrated in her arguments against the Mosque at “Ground Zero” in New York City where she called on New York Muslims to “refudiate” [sic: should be “repudiate”], we read in  Wikipedia:

St. William of Norwich

“Blood libel (also blood accusation refers to a false accusation or claim that religious minorities, almost always Jews, murder children to use their blood in certain aspects of their religious rituals and holidays.  The first claim of this fiction occuring appeared in 1144 CE, and after his head was pierced with a knife to simulate a “Crown of Thorns” and his side pierced in imitation of the crucified Jesus, he became known as St. William of Norwich (See:, these claims have–alongside those of well poisoning and host desecration–been a major theme in European persecution of Jews.

“The libels typically allege that Jews require human blood for the baking of matzos for Passover. The accusations often assert that the blood of Christian children is especially coveted, and historically blood libel claims have often been made to account for otherwise unexplained deaths of children. In some cases, the alleged victim of human sacrifice has become venerated as a martyr, a holy figure around whom a martyr cult might arise. A few of these have been even canonized as saints.” Among these alleged saints are

Christopher of Toledo (Holy Child of La Guardia); A plaque on the wall of the Hermitage of the Holy Child in La Guardia, Spain, depicts a local legend based on an anti-Semitic blood libel.

Christopher of Toledo, also known as Christopher of La Guardia or “the Holy Child of La Guardia,” who Pope Pius VII canonized in 1805;  the Russian Orthodox Church canonized a six-year-old boy named Gavriil Belostoksky from the village Zverki in 1820, with other “martyrs” raised to the altars throughout Christendom; Chaucer of England mentions  Little Saint Hugh of Lincoln who was another fiction who became a saint; and, the list is endless with young males being the focal point as they were seen as representatives of the Child Jesus, and thus raised the greatest anger and anti-Semitic feelings among the illiterate faithful in the Christian communities from Russia to England and throughout Europe (cf. Siegmund Salfeld, Das Martyrologium des Nürnberger Memorbuches (1898), pp. 15, 128-130).  Interesting the stories show the emergence of language but without basic grammar or rules of composition; with this came exaggerations, distortions, and lies that transmogrified history and led not only to the diminuation of knowledge of justice, but caused some of the greatest and most deadly wars recorded. It is because of the lackidaisicality of speakers, translators, and teachers that entire Jewish villages were set on fire, hundreds of thousands of innocent lives were lost, and education became but a flicker of light, as those who were considered professors were too preoccupied by the minutiae of religious pedagogy than the full embrace of academic sciences and learning.  When a few brave monks questioned this methodology, their abbots retorted that language had to be mastered “little by little”, and contrary to Cicero, Homer, and other philologists, interpretation became verbo et verbatim et litteratim (a scourge still inflicted on language learners in schools throughout Latin America as few students understand context or content; see Arthur Frederick Ide, IB Programme Destroying Third World Nations, forthcoming: Sepore Press).  I posit that it would be better verba ita sunt intelligenda ut res magis valeat quam pereat (words are to be understood such that the subject matter may be more effective than wasted): An interpretation which gives effect is preferred to one which makes void, but this is nearly impossible to explain to Language Departments in most Latin America educational centers.

Blood libel painting in St Paul's Church, Sandomierz, Poland

Not only has the Roman Catholic, Greek Orthodox, and especially the Russian Orthodox murdered hundreds of thousands of innocent Jews under this inhistorical and absurd claim, but so have Protestants from Switzerland and Germany to Old England.  The myth of Blood Libel was allowed to continue until 1990 in Austria, when Bishop Reinhold Stecher had the images removed but did not ban the myth nor its retelling (see:  The illustration on the right, located at the cult-church of Anderl von Rinn until

Blood libel of Andreas Oxner; The text of the motto reads: "Sie schneiden dem Marterer, die Gurgl ab und nemen alles Blut von Ihm", literally "they cut throat of the martyr and take all blood from him" or in other words, "They cut the martyr's throat and drain all his blood."

the 1990s, portrays the sacrificial slaughter of a boy named Andreas Oxner (or Anderl or Andrew) in 1462, at Rinn.  He was reportedly bought by Jewish merchants and cruelly murdered by them in a forest near the city, his blood being carefully collected in vessels.  While his parish mourned his death, the story was only popularized in the 17th century. In 1619 a Dr. Hippolyt Guarinoni (1571-1654) heard a story about little boy who was buried in Rinn and had been murdered by Jews, and claimed that he dreamed that the year of death of this boy was 1462. The modern celebration of the the cult of Anderl began in 1621 and by the late 17th century the cult of Anderl was established throughout the Tyrol, together with other boys who had supposedly been killed by Jews. In 1642 Guarinoni himself wrote a book Triumph Cron Marter Vnd Grabschrift des Heilig Unschuldigen Kindts [Triumph, Crown, Martyrdom and Epitaph of the Holy Innocent Child]. It ultimately became one of the myths fashioned by the Grimm Brothers in their collection of fairy tales: stories set down in an attempt to explain the mysterious disappearances and death of people, especially children.

Until the most recent times, the blood libel was condemned as false by Muslims. The Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent as well as the 19th century reformist Sultan Mahmoud II denounced the blood libel as a Christian fable (See: especially for a detailed list of the “saints” who were “sacrificed” by Jews).
The meaning is clear.  Sarah Palin sees herself as a spokeswoman for her god. Those who cross her are the antichrists that are seeking the downfall of Palin’s presidential ambitions and will drain her blood figuratively to stop her ascent to the ranks of the exalted, similar to William of Norwich. This, psychologically, is best described as a martyr’s complex that encompasses desires the feeling of being a martyr for his/her own sake, seeking out suffering or persecution because it feeds a psychological need having been singled out for persecution due to exceptional ability or integrity.  (See: Davis, Sheldon E. (September 1945). “What Are Modern Martyrs Worth?”. Peabody Journal of Education 23 (2): 67–68, and  While Freud wrote about individuals with martyr complexes, one of his circle named Theodor Reik wrote a book published in 1941 under the title Masochism in Modern Man (a 1962 paperback edition was called Masochism in Sex and Society), in which Reik notes:

“The masochist of the social kind expects the community in which he lives to acknowledge his merits and value, as well as the superiority of his character and achievements. Never mind if he is disdained, humiliated, and abused now; his adversaries are soon going to bow to him, to humble themselves before him. This anticipated phantasied satisfaction is only of short duration. It can only last for a short period, and soon the psychic reaction sets in. The guilt-feeling, the social anxiety, caused by this aggressiveness, is increased, claiming renewed punishments and humiliations, failures and misfortunes. Thus masochistic suffering is renewed and results again in anticipated satisfaction and pleasurable representation of those instinctual aims in phantasy. That is the genesis of the eternal circle of social anxiety and asocial, even antisocial instinctual urges.” (pp. 323-24 of the paperback ed.) Bob Vander Plaats and the Rise of Iowa’s Nazis

Between 1929 and 1933 the SA (Sturmabteilung) was instrumental in Hitler’s rise to power. Led by Ernst Röhm, an ambitious professional soldier, the SA became increasingly violent in its support of the Nazi Party. When Röhm refused to curtail the violence after the Nazis came to power, Hitler ordered Röhm and his top aides to be executed. The purge, known as the “Night of the Long Knives,” (30 June 1934 to July 2) eliminated rivals, especially “activist judges” and jurist who sought to protect basic human rights–including the right of association.

When Adolf Hitler came to power in Germany, the first thing that his Nazi party did was to take control of the courts, local government, and all civic organizations except the Protestant and Catholic churches. The courts were the Nazis primary concern–seeing the courts of Germany as too liberal and too concerned with individual human and civil rights.

Nazi Judge Freisler who would not tolerate homosexuals

On March 23, 1933, the Nazi-dominated Reichstag passed a law “for the removal of distress from the people and the state.” This law, known as the Enabling Act, gave the government full dictatorial powers and, in effect, suspended basic civil and human rights for four years. When the president had signed it, Hitler had a firm “legal” basis on which to govern as he pleased. He had also destroyed the constitution through outwardly legal means.

By mid-July 1933, the government had outlawed freedom of the press, all trade unions, and all political parties except the Nazis. The Gestapo (secret state police) hunted down the enemies and opponents of the government. People were jailed or shot on suspicion alone. By the time Hindenburg died in August 1934, Hitler ruled Germany completely. He assumed the title Fuhrer und Reichskanzler (leader and Reich chancellor).

The People’s Court had been established by Hitler as part of the government’s war on terrorism after the terrorist firebombing of the German parliament building. Displeased with the independence of the judiciary in the trials of the suspected Reichstag terrorists, Hitler had set up the People’s Court to ensure that terrorists and traitors would receive the “proper” verdict and punishment. Judicial proceedings were conducted in secret for reasons of national security (cp.

On July 14, 1933, Hitler pushed through “The Enabling Act” granting him supreme power, including power over the entire court system. Any court opinion, judgment, or ruling that he opposed required that those jurists who issued the opposing ruling had to step down, be impeached, and in most cases shot to death.

The Nazis proclaimed that the “profession of the attorney is not a trade but a service to the law”, requiring attorneys to raise the bar and respect the will of the Führer over the self-interest of their client (See: Matthew Lippman.  “Law, Lawyers, and Legality in the Third Reich:  The Perversion of Principle and Professionalism.”  Temple International and Comparative Law Journal  (Fall 1997):  11).  What were once innocent interactions between lawyers were now considered ethical breaches.  The threat of retribution often deterred lawyers from involvement in politically sensitive cases.  In sum, the sovereignty of the legal profession was lost as lawyers were absorbed into Nazi organizations and subjected to the supervision and stringency of the Nazi regime.  Ideological conformity was stressed as opposed to intellectual competence.

A series of notices, soon to be called Judges’ Letters began in circulation.  Their purpose was to instruct jurists to preserve the purity of the nation.  The Letters proved to be a successful effort in influencing judicial decision-making.  How much was voluntary is highly disputed though, because jurists were aware that their decisions were subjected to surveillance and scrutiny and that these letters would be distributed to their peers.  Failure to comply with the Letters or their recommendations would surely lead to punishment.

In conjunction with regulating attorneys and jurists the Nazi party also felt the responsibility to police the judiciary.  The Ministry of Justice began to issue instructions to prosecutors concerning appropriate punishment for each case, which was then immediately relayed from the prosecutors to the judges.  The judiciary merely accepted these persuasions, and acted accordingly.  Unfortunately the initial coordination between the executive and legislative branches wasn’t fully effective in regards to controversial verdicts.  In a fit of frustration Hitler announced to the Reichstag that he would directly intervene in the judicial process (See: ibid, pp. 18, 21).

The most infamous institutional creation was established in April 24, 1934 and named the People’s Court.  The creation of the People’s Court proved popular in evangelical communities throughout the USA, especially in Long Island, NY.

Long Island NY USA support for Nazis and Hitler

This court was envisioned to replace the Supreme Court and the first and last resort in treason trials.  Each hearing sat five members, each appointed for five years by Hitler.  Politics rather than law, with the main goal to eliminate opposition to National Socialism, blatantly guided the court.  In 1941 the People’s Court delivered death sentences to ten percent of the defendants with the figures culminating between 1942 and 1944 when it rose to forty percent, approximately 12, 891 death sentences.  These are the courts that Bob Vander Plaats of Iowa wants established in Iowa for Iowans and anyone who opposes him.

The efficiency of the Special Courts necessitated their expansion.  In 1943, The Reich Minister of Justice observed that the Special Courts now heard virtually all important criminal cases.  Basically speaking, anyone convicted of a criminal case was sent to a court that never allowed appeal, found minimal individuals innocent and were encouraged to dole out death penalties to those found guilty.  The emergence of new courts did not stop here (for further commentary and videos see:; cp. Wolfgang Schivelbusch, Three new deals : reflections on Roosevelt’s America, Mussolini’s Italy, and Hitler’s Germany, 1933-1939; translated by Jefferson Chase. New York : Metropolitan Books, 2006).

Lutheran Bishop Muller endorses the Reich

Hitler, a devout Roman Catholic, had the support not only of the Lutheran Church (one of the two official religions in twentieth-century Germany) but also of the evangelical movement. “I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so.” (see John Toland, Adolf Hitler, New York: Anchor Publishing, 1992, p. 507). public secular schools:  “Secular schools can never be tolerated because such schools have no religious instruction, and a general moral instruction without a religious foundation is built on air; consequently, all character training and religion must be derived from faith.” (Adolf Hitler in a speech on 26 April 1933, during negotiations that led to the Nazi-Vatican Concordant of 1933 with Pope Pius XII, from Ernst Helmreich’s The German Churches Under Hitler, Detroit: Wayne State University Press, 1979, p. 24 (for further discussion see my blog:

individual rights has long been a tool of would be dictators, especially in the USA where would-be demigods such as “Pat” Robertson and Jerry Falwell would blast gay people as “pawns of Satan” would create theocratic television empires to deny basic human rights to homosexuals. But no where is this evil less disguised than in the religious rantings of a one-time teacher and Iowa coach: Bob Vander Plaats.  Vander Plaats, the head of The Family Leader, has emerged as the state’s most influential Religious Right activist despite losing the 2010 Republican primary for governor. His effort to remove the four Justices last election was backed by millions of dollars of spending from outside groups such as the American Family Association, the Family Research Council (a neo-Nazi front:, cp. and the National Organization for Marriage (See: A former adviser recently wrote that Vander Plaats is “obsessed with the gay-marriage issue” and “so obsessed that he would rather see the Iowa judicial system destroyed, instead of pursuing a change in the law within the channels provided (a constitutional amendment)”  (Read the full opinion published by the Des Moines Register at  Vander Plaats, drawing a direct line from the speeches of Hitler, with modest modifications minced his words:

“All seven justices are guilty of overstepping the line by their votes in the Varnum decision, therefore we are asking for the remaining four justices to resign in an orderly fashion,” he said. “As long as the Iowa Supreme Court is comprised [sic: composed] of justices that abuse their authority, the credibility of our court will be compromised” (See:; cp.

Vander Plaats led the campaign to oust the three judges, with nearly $1 million in funding from out-of-state anti-gay organizations like the American Family Association, the Family Research Council and the National Organization for Marriage. After the election, he was named CEO and president of The Family Leader — an umbrella organization consisting of the Iowa Family Policy Center, the Iowa Family PAC and Marriage Matters.  He was hosted by the University of Northern Iowa at Cedar Falls and by its leading hate mongers, especially those from fundamentalist churches in Waterloo (cf., cp. and his words comparing the Supreme Court of Iowa to “teenagers caught at a beer

When the end came, Goebbels poisoned his 6 children, shot his wife, and then shot himself.] Goebbels was one of the “secret” supporters of Endlosung [final solution] which including murdering all homosexuals that could be found in Germany).  Vander Plaats has the endorsement of seventeen recognized organized hate groups, including the Ku Klux Klan (Charles City,

New Hampton, Mason City, Clear Lake, Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Riceville, Rockwell, Iona, and Denison that endorsed Republican Congressman King), various Nazi groups (see: Knights of the Nordic Order, Nationalist Socialist Movement and Nationalist Socialist Women’s Movement, White Boys Society, and the Creativity Alliance of Boone, Iowa; see:   He would move to declare that all judges were “at risk” of losing their judicial appointments when the Iowa Supreme Court granted homosexuals equal rights before the law (See:

Vander Plaats subsequent attack, led by the GOP majority in the State Legislature, was identical to that of Hitler: denying public day care and primary education (in “exchange” for vouchers), getting rid of the Grow Iowa Values Fund, which provides loans, grants and other incentives for small businesses, eliminating core curriculum for what Iowa students had to know

before graduating from an Iowa school, limiting purchases of new material for libraries and state operated colleges and universities, ending research sabbaticals for faculty, cutting back money for advertisement and education against smoking, and more–all matching Hitler’s moves in Nazi Germany (see:,

Sovereign Citizen Movement in USA: Home-grown Terrorists

The radical religious and political right in the USA has emerged as the leading terrorist group intent on denying basic liberties and human rights. Closely tied to extremists groups and churches, such as the Westboro Baptist Church of Kansas, the Sovereign Citizen believes that he or she is above the law and demands that the US Constitution guarantees him or her the right to carry weapons at all times. The Second Amendment, as passed by Congress, to the US Constitution states:  “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”  The sentence passed to the states to ratify states: “A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” In both cases, the freedom refers to a citizen militia to keep the government (federal and state) free from attack.

Sarah Palin

The Southern Poverty Law Center has reported on the Sovereign Citizen movement, now deeply imbedded within the Tea Party and stalwarts in the Republican (GOP) Party buttressed by Sarah Palin, one-time/part-time governor of Alaska and vice-presidential running mate of Arizona Republican Senator John McCain, stating “Sovereign citizens believe most Americans have no obligation to obey laws, regulations or tax codes, especially those imposed by the federal government. They justify their beliefs on the basis of decades-old conspiracy theories and intricate, nonsensical legal theories.” (See:

Since 1995, the Sovereign Citizen cult (it bases its actions on literal interpretation of select biblical passages and transmogrified passages of the US Constitution) has executed in cold blood numerous police officers throughout the USA (See: http://www/; cp., and  In 1997, New Hampshire extremist Carl Drega killed two officers and two civilians and wounded another three officers before being killed–his death being condemned by members of his cult as “senseless police brutality.”  Sovereign Citizens, who originated from anti-government activists going back to the Posse Comitatus movement of the 1970s, which recognized only local governments and no law enforcement official with more jurisdiction than a sheriff, also believe the government tricks people into becoming 14th Amendment citizens by signing contracts for privileges such as vehicle registration, Social Security and even fishing licenses (See: Associated Press, August 12, 2010, reported at What is most startling is they are supported by corporate-inspired right-wing revolt grouped around the tea party and extremist broadcast hosts such as Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and others who cry out for the limitation of all basic human rights that are extended to Blacks, Latinos, Gays and Lesbians, and other marginalized groups. When President Obama was elected at the height of the recession that was generated by George W. Bush’s wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that plunged the USA into a back-breaking debt to communist mainland China, these theories have gained a fresh wind with the appearance of large numbers of ‘birthers’ and ‘9/11 truthers’ and those pushing “immigration reform” especially in Arizona where all Latinos were considered to be illegal aliens until they showed proof of citizenship.  The Sovereign Citizen groups are in most cases controlled by far-right extremist evangelical theocrats whose design is to turn the USA into a theocracy with the church ruling absolutely, with Sarah Palin being outspoken on “taking back America”. Speakers joining Palin

Rick Scarborough

include Rick Scarborough, Roy Moore, and Joseph Farah, men who are radical even by religious-right standards. Their presence shows that the tea-party movement is no longer merely populist, libertarian, or anti-government, if it ever was. It is theocratic, and promises to be far worse than the Spanish Inquisition. It is supported by radical right school boards, such as the Texas Board of Education now controlled by extremists who are demanding that textbooks be rewritten to lessen the impact of Darwin, establish creationism as an “alternative,” revise the image of Republican US Senator Joe McCarthy of Wisconsin into one of being “a true patriot”, and to rewrite history books showing that Black people were better off and happier under slavery. (See: TexasRick Perry Gov. TX Republican Governor Rick Perry has long been a supporter of Intelligent Design and outspoken in his views against empirical scientific data, making Texas public education of little value. (See:; cf.  With the clamoring of Sovereign Citizen and other paramilitary groups, legislators in six states — Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri and South Carolina — have considered legislation requiring classrooms to be open to “views about the scientific strengths and weaknesses of Darwinian theory.” Surprisingly, the State of Louisiana did not follow in lock-step, and its State Board of Education rejected creationism. (See:

While police officers in uniform are usually the target for rifle assaults by Sovereign Citizen terrorists, more widespread than violence is a set of tactics known as “paper terrorism,” in which sovereign citizens use legal filings to harass, intimidate, and retaliate against public officials, law enforcement officers, and others. Most common is the filing of bogus liens on the property of perceived enemies. At the same time, Sovereign Citizen members seize and illegally occupy abandoned homes or those foreclosed because of default in payment (See:

The primary base for radical Sovereign Citizen groups is in Texas. Carolyn Yeager is a Texas-based (Ingram, Texas) neo-Nazi and Holocaust denier who runs her own Web site. The site is filled with racist and anti-Semitic material, as well as essays promoting motherhood and home-schooling.  Yeager is the Texas State Leader of the neo-Nazi American National Socialist Workers Party (ANSWP), a group that descended from the National Socialist Movement, the largest neo-Nazi group in the country. Not only does Yeager deny the Holocaust, but claims that the Jews who carry tattooed numbers were self-inflicted in an effort to extort money from Allied Forces.  To strengthen her claims, Yeager authored the book Auschwitz: The Underground Guided Tour; What the Tour Guides Don’t Tell You at , published by The Barnes Review.  In the book, she claims that Auschwitz was not an extermination camp and that Nazi guards looked after the health of inmates–although all authenticated records show that 1.1 million Jews were murdered at Auschwitz (See:

1943 Germany: Massacre of Jews

In 2010 there were several Sovereign Citizens who ran for public office, many being backed and supported by Dick Armey of Denton, Texas, and

Billy Roper preaching White Revolution

Sarah Palin. Neo-Nazi candidates Billy Roper (head of the Arkansas White Revolution paramilitary force), ran for governor of Arkansas, and Frazier Glenn Miller, ran for U.S. Senate in Missouri (both as write-in candidates). White supremacist and KKK leader Tom Metzger, who in the 1980s received considerable notoriety for running

Metzger, Butler, and Roper at Aryan Fest (2004)

for office, received only 9 votes as a write-in candidate in his bid for U.S. Congress in Indiana (See:  Jeff Hall, a leader in the National Socialist Movement and avowed racist

Jeff Hall (shown with yellow arrow) in Arizona

( hoped to get elected to a seat on the Western Riverside Municipal Water District and received almost 28% of the vote (6,738 votes). Daniel Schruender, a member of an Aryan Nations faction, received almost 10% of the vote (1,807 votes) in his run for a seat on the Rialto, California, school board.

Frazier Glenn Miller JrFrazier Glenn Miller Jr., a former marine and longtime white supremacist who, according to his Web site, has spent “43 years actively working for rights for white people” and founded the White People’s Party and planned the assassination of SPLC leader Morris Dees, was

Glenn Miller

arrested on April 30, 1987, on numerous Federal criminal charges, and after serving three years in prison planned for and ultimately ran for the United States Senate in Missouri on a blatantly anti-Semitic platform.  A darling of the religious right, on his web-site, Miller notes that his number one political goal was “to secure the existence of my people and a future for White children” (See: “Fugitive Racist Leader Is Captured in Missouri”, The New York Times, 1 May 1987; and Camille Jackson, “They’re Back: A fresh batch of extremist ex-cons hits the streets,” Intelligence Report, Winter 2004, Issue #116, Southern Poverty Law Center).  At KMBZ (Kansas City) Miller ran the following audio ads:

One of the statements Miller makes in his ads includes, “Jews control the federal government and the media. Surely you don’t still believe white men are in control, do ya? It’s the Jews.”

In another, he states:

“The future of white children will be a nightmare.”

KMBZ is running a disclaimer with Miller’s material to distance itself from it – although according to the rules it can neither support nor denounce it in this manner.

“America is no longer ours,” Miller says in one ad. “America belongs to the Jews who rule it and the mud people who multiply in it.”

“But you don’t care, do you, whitey? All you care about is satisfying your belly, pocketbook and genitals and watching the coons play ball on television.”

Jim Rizoli

Jim Rizoli, a Holocaust denier and an anti-immigrant activist, lost his bid to become the state representative in the 6th Middlesex District in Framingham, Massachusetts. He received 1,219 votes or about 9% of the vote.  During an October 2009 segment of his public access television show in Framingham, Rizoli delivered a lengthy diatribe promoting Holocaust denial. He defended Holocaust denier and Iranian leader

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, instructed viewers to conduct their own research on the Holocaust to discover the alleged “truth,” and directed people to visit Web sites that advance Holocaust denial.

The National Prayer Network is a barely disguised hate group that openly supports Sovereign Citizens. Ted Pike, the national director of the Oregon-based National Prayer Network (, has for years engaged in an anti-Semitic campaign that denigrate the Jewish religion, as well as what he perceives as Jewish-controlled organizations and leaders. Working closely with Tyndal House Publishers, Pike puts out more hate-filled literature than most other radical right extremists. To further his own publications, Pike has produced a string of historically inaccurate virulent hate-filled videos, including Zionism and Christianity: Unholy Alliance (2005); Why the Mid-East Bleeds (2003); Shaking Campus Liberalism: How Christian Students Defied the Pro-Gay Faculty…and Won! (2002); Hate Laws: Making Criminals of Christians (2000); The Other Israel: The Whole Story of Zionist Conspiracy (1987). He openly opposes federal anti-hate crime legislation, and praises African nations that openly kill homosexuals while praising the theocracy in Iran. Pike is supported by the “Orthodox Anglican Community”–a far-right conservative branch of the Anglican Church that advocates public executions of homosexuals, adulterers, abortionists, and anyone else the group decides is a threat to god (it is a communion that is trying to align itself, if not accept “conversion into” the Roman Catholic church as publicized by Pope Benedict XVI (See: Pike’s extremism can be found in the words he publishes and speaks:

We need to help make the hate law unenforceable by resisting and disobeying inevitable government edicts (particularly as precedents from liberal courts) to limit free speech. This will require willingness to suffer for the cause of truth and freedom. To help empower such courage we must continue widespread education against hate laws (such as exists at We must publicize as widely as possible the fact that a cabal of liberal Jewish supremacists is behind all hate laws worldwide. These, Rabbi Daniel Lapin, says are in “relentless attack on evangelical Christians.” Only through encountering massive public resistance and exposure will ADL/B’nai B’rith (organized world Jewry) be slowed on their fast track to world dominion.

The epicenter of such liberal Jewish attack on Christian civilization is the state of Israel. Israel is a nation founded on theft, repression, and terror (See, Israel: Founded on Terror). Despite its claim to democracy, it is one of the most repressive speech crime regimes in the world. In 1920 Christians constituted 20% of the inhabitants of Palestine. Now, as a result of decades of official harassment and discrimination as well as “anti-missionary” laws criminalizing even casual conversations about Christ with Jews, only 2% of Israelis are Christians. The Israeli government continues to look the other way as Messianic Christian Jews in Israel suffer constant harassment, discrimination and even violence, especially from ultra-Orthodox zealots (See website of Lura Maimon Beckford). Knesset continues to propose even stricter speech crime laws against Christians.

(See: for Pike’s full comments, and his claim that Israel is the “new whore” and that violent resistance is mandatory of good Christians read it at

Pike praises preacher-Governor Mike Huckabee of Arkansas as the “chosen one” who will lead the revolution at the ballot box. In this he is joined by Iowa’s hatemongering and one time gubernatorial aspirant Bob Vander Plaats who is tightly leagued with the American Family Association and other hate groups and was endorsed by former Arkansas Governor, Fox News Host and Tea Party supporter Mike Huckabee (See: cf.

Pastor Mike Huckabee and Bob Vander Plaats

Vander Plaats (a former high school teacher) is a single issue theological terrorist with one goal: to stop homosexuality and its defenders. To this end the Iowa evangelical extremist, echoing the same words as the theological thugs (the Taliban: an Arabic word for theological students), Vander Plaats called upon the entire Iowa Supreme Court to resign after it ruled unanimously that homosexuals in Iowa have the same rights as all other Iowa citizens (See the story in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier December 7, 2010:; cf.; cp., and with the mangled Taliban Arabic chortling الشذوذ الجنسي هو جريمة ضد الله والانسان ، وهؤلاء القضاة الذين الناعمة على مثليون جنسيا يجب إزالتها من على مقاعد البدلاء القضائية وتنفيذها.)

James Russell

James C. Russell, also known as Jim Russell, ran as the Republican and Conservative candidate in the 18th Congressional District in New York.  Russell won 38% of the vote (46,547 votes). Russell has voiced white supremacist and anti-Semitic views in print and was a speaker at the 2002 conference held by American Renaissance, a white supremacist journal and was a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of The Occidental Quarterly, a racist journal, up through the Summer 2009 issue.

James Traficant

James Traficant ran for U.S. Congress in Ohio’s 17th district as an Independent. He won 16.05% of the vote (29,969 votes). Traficant, a former Congressman from Youngstown, was convicted in 2002 on various federal charges, including bribery, fraud, racketeering and tax evasion, and spent seven years in prison.  Traficant, who is known for his long-time support of former Nazi guard John Demjanjuk, has made a number of anti-Semitic statements. In a 2009 interview in the conspiracy-oriented, anti-Semitic newspaper American Free Press (AFP), he alleged that “the Israeli lobby has a stranglehold on the United States” and “over government,” and that the United States is under a resultant threat of implosion. In 2002, he insisted that Jews not be included in the pool of jurors for his trial that year.

Tragically all have the support, endorsement, and financial backing of the Sovereign Citizens. In each of these theological terrorists there is a spark of hope for white supremacists to rid the USA of all people of color, forcibly convert every non-Christian to Jesus, and to rewrite history and science books in keeping with their versions of the Bible.  While the “reverends” claim a spiritual education, none has a solid academic background.  Mike Huckabee He graduated from Ouachita Baptist University, completing his bachelor’s degree in Religion in 2½ years before attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, but dropped out of seminary after one year in order to take a job in Christian broadcasting. He has two honorary doctoral degrees: a Doctor of Humane Letters, received from John Brown University in 1991 (John Brown was created and is still operated by the same family of the itinerant preacher John Brown. Founded in 1919 as a private, interdenominational, Christian liberal arts college in Siloam Springs, Arkansas its purpose was to spread Christianity not to develop critical thinkers or encourage genuine education), and a Doctor of Laws from Ouachita Baptist University in 1992 (a private  liberal arts, undergraduate institution located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas that by professional standards cannot claim to be a university; its purpose is to spread the sectarian creed of the Southern Baptist Convention.)

Ted Pike is a 1971 graduate of Portland State University, with emphasis in art and philosophy. He claims to be an “accomplished film maker.” He has no theological education (See:

Jim Russell went to Fordham University where he studied Historical Theology but concentrated on Christianity and Christian Theology. His knowledge of its history is limited to textbooks published in the last thirty years.

Salon Magazine. ), a confessed alcoholic with a series of drug abuses (“About Glenn Beck”. Retrieved 1 September 2009. ), but discovered religion (after being raised a Roman

Glenn Beck (born 1964)

Catholic) in the Mormon Church, has come out against Billionaire media mogul George Soros as wanting to destroy the USA and democracy. While Beck, Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee, Bob Vander Plaats, and other far-right Tea Baggers claim that until the wealthy are given generous tax credits and cuts, they lie. The truth is opposite of their henchmanship, for on August 4, 2010, 40 USA billionaires pledged, with Bill Gates (Microsoft) and investor Warren Buffet to donate no less than 50% of their fortunes (see: cp. to help restore the shrinking middle class that had been targeted by George W. Bush and foreign interests. It was the foreign interests by such individuals as Robert Murdoch, who funded the GOP and the Tea Baggers in the November 2 election.

Beck, like Ailes (Murdoch loyalists), denounced Soros as being “foreign-born” and “a billionaire” who “controls the media” in the USA and “stole property from the Jews” as a young teenager (See: Soros is Jewish) and supports the legalization of marijuana (see:, while suggesting he was soft on communism and against the progress and prosperity of the USA. Beck, a stranger to truth forgets these points about Soros: Soros is Chairman of the Soros Fund Management that invests in the USA and the Open Society Institute. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Council on Foreign Relations. He played a significant role in the peaceful transition from communism to capitalism in Hungary (1984–89; see: and provided Europe’s largest-ever higher education endowment to Central European University in Budapest (see:

George Soros in 2010

Jon Stewart did a parody on this, illustrating the duplicity and redundancy of Glenn Beck and FOX News’ obsession with George Soros. Here is a link: http://www.thedailyshow/com/watch/thu-november-18-2010/george-soros-plans-to-overthrow-america.  The skit resulted from a LA Times article (19 November 2010; cp. on the meeting of wealthy Democrats. The part most readers missed included this reporting, quoting George Soros: “I admire the president for his attempt to rise above partisan party politics…His policies have made the recession he inherited shorter and shallower than it would otherwise have been. But after two years of complete noncooperation and vicious distortion, the time for compromise has ended…Extending the [George W.] Bush tax cuts for the top 2% will not create jobs, but it will preclude further job-creating fiscal measures, including support to states.”

Soros is not alone in wanting the tax cuts ended.  More than 40 of the nation’s millionaires have joined Patriotic Millionaires for Fiscal Strength to ask President Obama to discontinue the tax breaks established for them during the Bush administration, as Salon reports (see:

“For the fiscal health of our nation and the well-being of our fellow citizens, we ask that you allow tax cuts on incomes over $1,000,000 to expire at the end of this year as scheduled,” their website ( states.  The full text is:

“We make this request as loyal citizens who now or in the past earned an income of $1,000,000 per year or more.

“We are writing to urge you to stand firm against those who would put politics ahead of their country.

“For the fiscal health of our nation and the well-being of our fellow citizens, we ask that you allow tax cuts on incomes over $1,000,000 to expire at the end of this year as scheduled.

“We make this request as loyal citizens who now or in the past earned an income of $1,000,000 per year or more.

“We have done very well over the last several years. Now, during our nation’s moment of need, we are eager to do our fair share. We don’t need more tax cuts, and we understand that cutting our taxes will increase the deficit and the debt burden carried by other taxpayers. The country needs to meet its financial obligations in a just and responsible way.”

Letting tax cuts for incomes over $1,000,000 expire, is an important step in that direction.”

Beck not only ignores history but rewrites it with the same cavalier attitude

Sarah Palin 2010

as Sarah Palin creates words that, because of her notoriety, find their way into previously sound academic dictionaries (such as the Oxford American Dictionary). But Beck’s blast on Soros’ evil is that he is a foreign-born billionaire who controls media (yes, it is true) is duplicity since Beck works for the foreign-born billionaire who controls media whose name is Keith Rupert Murdoch (he created Fox Broadcasting Company in 1986). From there the Australian-born (born in Melbourne, Australia, the son of Elisabeth Joy Greene and Sir Keith Murdoch, into a family of wealth, privilege, and indifference to the worker or middle class) foreigner went on to take control over the film industry (20th Century-Fox, for example), media television satellites (Sky Satellite, and later British Sky Broadcasting which dominates the UK pay-television industry), and the Internet.

His initial attacks on a free-press occurred when he bought the Sunday Times in Perth, Western Australia, to be followed with the takeover of the Sydney afternoon tabloid, The Daily Mirror, as well as a small Sydney-based recording company, Festival Records. The New Zealand daily The Dominion that  fell into his strangle-hold in January 1964. Murdoch took over The Sun in 1969, in the UK and like his other “papers” made it into a popular tabloid–short on news and even weaker on accuracy. Murdoch was and still is a strong supporter of former Labour leader Tony Blair, and their close relationship with Blair and their secret meetings to discuss national policies was to become a political issue in Britain (See: Hinsliff, Gaby (23 July 2006). “The PM, the mogul and the secret agenda”. The Guardian (London). Retrieved 10 April 2010). It became a scandal when Blair and Murdoch began to control George W. Bush and insist on the escalation of the wrongful war in Iraq and Afghanistan. When Obama became president of the USA, Murdoch began hiring anti-Obama personnel and requiring that all information on Obama be reported with a negative slant. Murdoch had insisted that Obama meet with him. The arrogance of Murdoch who did not disguise that he wanted to control the “black president” was not lost on Obama, who repeatedly refused to meet with the Australian mogul. Ultimately, to the surprise and horror of many, Obama met with Murdoch, complaining of Fox News’s portrayal of him “as suspicious, foreign, fearsome – just short of a terrorist”. Fox News head, GOP stalwart “President” Roger

Roger Ailes (born 1950)

Ailes (born 1940, and media consultant for Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and George H. W. Bush; Ailes gave President George W. Bush political advice indicating that the American public would be patient as long as they were convinced that Bush was using the harshest measures possible–by doing nothing but political posturing [See: Grove, Lloyd. Roger Ailes-Bob Woodward Smackdown? The Washington Post. 19 November 2002]), said it might not have been this way if Obama had “more willingly come on the air instead of so often giving Fox the back of his hand.” A “tentative truce” was nonetheless agreed upon. Underlings at Fox News, and at Murdoch’s controlled New York Post noted that Murdoch has met every US President since, and including, Harry Truman (See: “Tuesdays with Rupert,” Vanity Fair October 2008). Three times married, Robert Murdoch holds himself up as a defender of traditional marriage (for which he received the papal honor the KSG [Knight of St. Gregory the Great, established by Pope Gregory XVI in 1831, an order that requires the recipients to be “gentlemen of proven loyalty to the Holy See who, by reason of their nobility of birth and the renown of their deeds or the degree of their munificence, are deemed worthy to be honoured by a public expression of esteem on the part of the Holy See”. The end of the brief states that they must progressively maintain, by continued meritorious deed, the reputation and trust they had already inspired, and prove themselves worthy of the honour that had been conferred on them, by unswerving fidelity to God and to the sovereign Pontiff. Murdoch matches none of the requirements. (See: “The Pontifical Order of Saint Gregory the Great”. Association of Papal Orders in Great Britain website. Association of Papal Orders in Great Britain of Piux IX, Saint Gregory and Saint Sylvester. Retrieved 2010-10-02. )]

Keith Robert Murdoch

Murdoch’s love-affair with Labour died an agonizing death, but The Sun forced through a divorce and married the Murdoch media to the rising Conservatives.  The Sun lent its support to David Cameron’s Conservative Party, when Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s official spokesman said in November 2009 that Brown and Murdoch “were in regular communication” and that “there is nothing unusual in the prime minister talking to Rupert Murdoch” (see: Mulholland, Hélène (12 November 2009). “Gordon Brown spoke to Rupert Murdoch after misspelling row”. The Guardian (London).

Ailes and Murdoch convinced Rush Limbaugh to move from radio to Fox News as a “commentator”. From that point on, all extremists in the GOP flocked to Fox News, including the one-time part-time governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, who now claims she left the governorship because she could not afford to be governor on the governor’s salary (See:; cp.,8599,1908800-2,00.html; and; cf.

The fact that Fox News is funding the GOP and its Republican candidates has long been common knowledge. Media Matters has done research on how much GOP candidates have received both in the form of wages and in free air time for political posturing, as these graphs show:

Free Advertising value for GOP candidates

Fox News candidates’ appearances were worth at least $40.23 million in advertising costs. Media Matters also estimated the equivalent cost advertisers would pay for the amount of air time Fox gave to each of its potential candidates. Advertisers would have spent about $22 million for screen time given to Huckabee, who is the only candidate to host his own, regular Fox News program. Gingrich’s appearances would have been worth almost $6 million to advertisers, and Palin’s would have cost them approximately $5 million. Santorum’s advertising equivalency is about $4.19 million, while Bolton’s would have cost just under $3 million.

Bob Vander Plaats and the rise of Iowa fascism

All of the world’s most nefarious and draconian dictatorship destroying human and civil rights have always been led by “men of God”: church men, pastors and “evangelicals” be they Christians, Jews, Moslems or other sects. There has never been an exception. This was the case with the alliance of two men, Pope Pius XI and Mussolini,

Pius XI and Mussolini 1932

that influenced so greatly the social and political pattern, not only of Italy, but also of the rest of Europe in the years between the two world wars. (

Later  it was Pope Pius XII and Adolf Hitler who sealed the doom of Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, working women, Polish independents, captured soviet soldiers, and more. After Hitler came Ronald Reagan who embraced (and accepted money from) the Christian Coalition (and Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson; see John Patrick Diggins, “How Ronald Reagan Reinvented Religion, at [History News Network]),

Falwell and Reagan

the Bushes and the Southern Baptist Convention (See: Marv Knox, “At Southern Baptist Convention, Bush Blesses Baptists,” at, and now modern fascism preached by “pastor” Mike Huckabee and those who ape him like Iowa’s Bob Vander Plaats who ran for the GOP nomination (and lost) to be governor of Iowa in 2010 (he had run for the same office unsuccessfully in the past). Vander Plaats’ platform was to deny basic human rights to Iowans while destroying the civil liberties and human rights of those who disagree with him or with Huckabee, and do not live the lifestyle that both man preach is demanded by a god so hate-filled that only certain people merit salvation if they are totally subservient to his pastors. This enthronement of theological conservatism brought additional revenue to both Vander Plaats and Huckabee.  (See:

Vander Plaats and Huckabee are two theocrats who proclaim that the “Iowa Family Policy Center” is “all about family rights” (see: Their interpretation of what constitutes a family reflects the ideology and public pronouncements identical to that of Mussolini, Hitler, and the current despots in Uganda and Nigeria, denying those who would be a family.

Vander Plaats and Huckabee bullhorn hatred and spew lies unabashed. They deny women the right to determine the destiny of their bodies. They reject the right of all children to have a sound and balanced education based on facts that is scientifically provable. They disparage the right of people to make commitments to each other. This theological twosome reject all forms of gambling on the unproven claim that gambling weakens the family, and draconically denounce taxes as being the scourge of the family, claiming that taxes “enslave” the heads of the family who must work longer hours, with a special rant on income taxes as being the poison put out by Democrats. Their rant shows a total lack of knowledge of USA history, for the first income tax was introduced by Abraham Lincoln to pay for the 1862 letter on income taxAmerican Civil War on January 3, 1862 ( cp. Unsurprisingly, Vander Plaats platform and goals are identical to the issues that elected Adolf Hitler as German Chancellor in 1939:

The view that women should remain at home was reinforced when a third of male workers lost their jobs and became unemployed during the depression in the 1930s. Nazis argued that men were being replaced by female workers who, on average, only received 66% of men’s wages.

During the election campaign in 1932, Adolf Hitler promised that if he gained power he would take 800,000 women out of employment within four years. In August 1933 a law was passed that enabled married couple to obtain loans to set up homes and start families. To pay for this single men and childless couples were taxed more heavily.

(See: Like the token females in today’s GOP (as defined by Vander Plaats as “God’s Own Party”), the few women Hitler brought into his government, such as Gertrud Scholtz-Klink, their job was to get women to return to the home, give birth to more “Aryan” babies, and support

Gertrud Scholtz-Klink

enthusiastically the extension of “living space” for the “superior race” of “God-fearing Christians.”

Vander Plaats argues that “Pastor Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas and winner of the 2008 Iowa presidential caucus, will be speaking about the role of the church regarding the current assault on marriage and family, God-honoring civics, and what it means to be a Christian statesman.”

Vander Plaats and Huckabee

Vander Plaats received much of his financial support from NOM (National Organization for Marriage) of Princeton, NJ–but who has interfered with every state in the Union when candidates did not reflect its values, such as “Your Average Marriage is Good For Your Kids” (the web writer’s grammar, obviously is as weak as their arguments; see:

Like Adolph Hitler (, Vander Plaats promises to “honor pastors” who support him and Huckabee (; cp. Hitler, 27 October 1928, Bundesarchiv Berlin-Zehlendorf, and 1 February 1933 speech reiterated Volkischer Beobachter, 5 Aug. 1935). His goals were clearly stated “to reduce property taxes to fuel business expansion”, have the “loser pay all” court costs in any litigation (thus chilling the judicial right of redress), having representatives from “public school, home school and private school on the Iowa Board of Education” even though all schools at the present must pass a definite test of knowledge acquisition (Vander Plaats, who took his degree in coaching at Iowa Northwestern College before becoming a coach and teacher in Boone and Jefferson), and most critical to his campaign “Sign an executive order designed to stop clerks from handing out marriage licenses to same-sex couples. Most legal experts note an executive order cannot overrule the Iowa Supreme Court.” (See:
Vander Plaats is the executive director of Iowa for Freedom, and has regularly interfered with the freedom of Iowans. Freedom of choice is not in his vocabulary or lexicon. Freedom of association is not found in his rule book, and the basic guarantees of the US Constitution (Article 1) are ignored in the name of his quest to become the saviour of Iowa.
The Iowa Interfaith Alliance publicly denounced Vander Plaats for mixing religion and politics, stating that Vander Plaats group is merely a state arm of the American Family Association of Mississippi. While Vander Plaats hailed the AFA on all the e-mails and letters he sent me, he denied any real affiliation with them when responding to the Iowa Interfaith Alliance. (
Vander Plaats and Mike Huckabee have gone to such extremes (as have all theological terrorists and tyrants from Pope Urban II to Hitler and modern cultists in Nigeria []and Uganda[]), call a “war on terror” to be a spiritual war and a theological war, matching Sarah Palin’s promise of Armageddon (text and video are at:
Tyrants, everywhere, always cite god as the author of their actions, and proclaim that they are defending the family against those they oppose. Hitler had more than 500,000 gays executed, more than one million working women were imprisoned for the crime of taking the jobs of men–at 66% less in pay, more than 6 million Jews were slaughtered in the name of a Christ no tyrant has ever known but only praised in public prayers while encouraging the unnatural act of celibacy and chastity as virtues. If marriage was sacred, and if it was god-sanctioned, and if Jesus was the son of god, then why is there no mention of Jesus ever marrying or even having a girl friend? The only mention of marriage in the life of Jesus was when he changed water into wine–and the host complained that the best was saved for last–a common expression at that time for people who were already drunk. Furthermore, which neither NOM nor the American Family Association comment on, is why do all biblical records focus on Jesus living with 12 men, one of whom rested his head on the chest of Jesus? This is rank hypocrisy. It is not about winning souls, but in controlling lives. It is not about defending the “family”–a word that in all dictionaries is defined as ” a social unit consisting of one or more adults together with the children they care for: a single-parent family” (Random House Dictionary, 2010)–it is about power and control over others. It is fascism. It is the rebirth of fascism in Iowa, a state that is more like the 1980s when the motto “a State on the Go” became “a State to go from.”

The American worker is being screwed

The GOP and its subsidiaries (Tea Baggers led by Dick Armey of Denton TX, and Sarah Palin of AK; the American Family Association and other similar groups with ties to radical hate groups) are determined to bankrupt the USA and do away with American jobs, foreclose on more homes, and drive down the value of the dollar. The American worker is, unwittingly, accepting this fate by not buying goods made in the USA, nor supporting the right of American labor and personal rights of choice and association.

From shopping at WalMart to buying at Dollar Stores where more than 80% of all goods sold are foreign imports, to driving oriental made cars, the average American are buying these products that began in the USA and now made overseas:

Beer (Miller, Coors, and Budweiser are now owned by foreign companies; Anheuser-Busch, the St. Louis MO based company that has nearly 50% of all market shares int he USA was sold to Intel, a Belgium-based conglomerate run by Brasil). Corona and others are now totally owned by other nations.

Cellular phones (none made in the USA since 2007) all are made overseas: India, Finland, Sweden, etc.

Converse shoes (since 2001) are now made in Indonesia.

Dell computers (last made in North Carolina, closed in January 2010; its Round Rock TX “headquarters” is a front organization to hide the outsourcing of USA jobs). Today the computers are made in Asia.

Etch-a-Sketch (since 2000) made in Shenzhen, China.

Forks, spoons, and knives (last manufactured by Sherrill Manufacturing that had purchased Oneida Ltd in 2005, closed down all operations in June 2010).

Hathaway Dress shirts (since 2002) made in India, Philippines, etc.

Incandescent light bulbs (last made in September 2010 by a major industry, although Osram/Slavania Plant in St. Mary’s PA is still producing the light bulbs to fill old and international contracts; they will soon announce their closure), closed down operations after the GOP Congress of 2007 passed a measure banning incandescents by 2014, prompting GE to close its domestic operations.

Levi jeans (last made in Dec. 2003) now all made in Latin America and Asia.

Mattel toys (since 2002) the largest toy maker and seller, is made in China (costing 65% of all jobs in its plant in California)

Minivans including General Motors and Chrysler chassis used on Chevrolet Uplander, Pontiac Montana, Buick Terraza, Saturn Relay, Chrysler Town & Country, and Dodge Grand Caravan (since 2003) are all made abroad.

Pontiac cars. Stopped all production in May 2010–yet over 60% of its employees drove Asian made vehicles, and few Pontiac cars were in the main plant in Michigan.

Radio Flyer’s Red Wagon (stopped production in March 2004) at its Chicago plant and now has all products made in China.

Railroad parts (castings, guard bars, braces, etc), none made in the USA since 2008.

Sardines (canned; the last produced in April 2010 by Stinson Seafood in Maine) now are made in Peru and other Latin American nations, and in Japan.

Rawlings baseballs (since 1969, made first in Puerto Rico, later in Haiti, now made in Costa Rica).

Strawberries and fresh fruits and vegetables are imported from Mexico.

Televisions (the last made in October 2004, was Five Rivers Electronic Innovations, a Tennessee company). Today none are made in the USA.

Vending machines (last produced in 2003 in the USA)

Wine: most are imported from Chile, Italy, France, and other foreign nations.

Job outsourcing will increase.

Top 10 Jobs Targeted For Outsourcing

1. Computer Programmers
2. Pharmacy Technicians
3. Parts Salespersons
4. Telephone Operators (most are going to India, Bangladesh, and Syria)
5. Billing and posting clerks and machine operators
6. Computer Operators
7. Data Entry Keyers
8. Word Processors and Typists
9. Tax Preparers (most tax preparers will be living in India, Pakistan, Iraq, Vietnam, and China; few will speak English; their knowledge will be canned on pre-established coded disks)
10. Medical Transcriptionists

Among the most spectacular loses are in the field of education and entertainment.

Information Week has an article about subtitling jobs in the UK getting outsourced to India, with disastrous results.  This is not good news.  Non-native speakers + subtitling = too many mistakes.

From the article:

For example, in the movie My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Uma Thurman utters the line “We have a zero-tolerance policy for (sexual harassment).”

But as rendered by Indian workers, the line reads like it’s from a Borat movie: “We hold the highest standards for sexual harassment by foreign workers.

Education is taking the biggest hit with the rise of the IB Programme out of Cambridge UK. The textbooks are filled with numerous errors in grammar, spelling, capitalization, etc., but it is fed to Third World nations as a way to enter into the English-speaking world. In Perú the English competency among university students, faculty, and administrators is marginal, and the graduates of universities apply to USA and UK universities in quest of higher education, while knowledge of history, science and the arts is minimal. A graduate thesis at Universidad Señor de Sipan of 20 pages was accepted–and it was authored by five “graduate” students. Plagiarism is rife and accepted, as anyone can buy any cinema (including those not yet officially released by Hollywood) on the streets hawked by “delinquentes” (criminal) for S/.5 (about $1.75) on cheap DVDs. USA citizens visiting Third World nations buy them in droves and return to the USA with their acquisitions, thus damaging the profitability of USA movie producers. Because of the open “black market” Blockbusters pulled out of Perú, costing thousands of jobs in the South American nation.

In the USA, it is not uncommon to see people downloading music, movies, and other entertainment to their computers–only to complain when they are arrested, tried, and ordered to pay a multimillion dollar fine to the intellectual-property owner and manufacturer. ( cp. and Ethics are no longer taught in schools as a social responsibility, but if taught comes with sectarian bias.

The reasons given by businesses for outsourcing are

1) Your job can be automated (as with H&R Block)

2) Your job is location independent and does not require person-specific skills (medical transcriptionists are a prime example)

3) Your job can be done elsewhere at a much lower cost.

The revitalized GOP will increase outsourcing, as promised to chief fundraisers and financial supporters in its May 2010 letter, to raise the profits of owners and stock holders at the expense of the American worker. Thus in Sioux City, IA, the laborers vowed to support GOP Rep. Steven King, although he sees nothing wrong with outsourcing or closing Iowa plants and John Morrell will close its plant in Sioux City, IA and lay of 1,450 workers (Woodbury County has an unemployment rate of over 6%, solidly Republican) )to thank the workers who voted for him. King even went so far as to declare he would not support extended unemployment benefits for the laid off workers ( King argued that “safety nets” for the unemployed were nothing more than a “hammock” to coddle those who would not immediately begin to look for alternative labor. ( King loudly opposed now-defeated Democratic Iowa Governor Chet Culver’s call for aid to the workers.

In Ames, Iowa, Victor Gostomski, spams propaganda for the Tea Baggers and GOP, and declares that “snopes” declares the messages are proven as true:

1. Debt Free America Act •••
Is the U.S. government proposing a 1% tax on debit card usage and/or banking transactions?

The real snopes website is at and reverses the false information. The problem is that most people do not verify the sources given to them; they, like Melinda Oldham Davis of Carrollton, TX merely pass them on and jump onto the GOP bandwagon of lies and distortions.
